Fu Sheng is standing on a tree branch, watching the house surrounded by the hunters with special guns to disarm supernatural creatures. The scent of the enchanted woods is lingering in the air. There are three women and one man inside the house.

His suspicions are true. She is an a.s.sa.s.sin sent by the vampire hunters to kill him and his people. "I didn't," Klyn tells him happily.

"Oh, he did." Izo walks into the hall with a white s.h.i.+rt. "He had cast a l.u.s.t spell on his highness."

"He also watched them," Noah adds. "He used the venom of the l.u.s.t demons on his highness and the a.s.sa.s.sin."

"We are dead." Jin falls on the floor. "We are dead. We are dead."

"Brothers." Klyn rests his elbows on the floor and leans back without a crease of worry on his forehead. "You are thinking too much. Our king might be a bit mad at me, but I gifted him something good. I helped him lose his 4000 years old virginity and get a queen. In this chaotic time, we have a queen. Our King's bachelor days are over. Even if you don't find the true mate like our king, you can find love and get married. After all, true mates are rarer than the pure-blooded vampires these days."

The seven vampires eye him with disbelief and shock. Jin slaps his forehead. "Klyn, you can't use l.u.s.t spell on the King. He will rip you apart."

"I wouldn't like it," Han mumbles quietly, but it was heard by all of them.

"You wouldn't like what?" Izo asks him.

"If someone sees me with my woman." Han's voice is barely a whisper. The color drain from the other seven vampires' face. They can argue about good thoughts behind bad deeds. But, no man would like it if you have seen their woman naked.

Klyn realizes his mistake. "I got carried away."

Lei looks at Klyn pitifully. "Brother, I will find a headstone for your grave."

"I will prepare for the funeral." Aiken gets up.

"I will help you, Brother Ken." Izo follows Aiken. Han and Jin quietly leave behind them.

"Tell me your last wishes?" Noah pats the devastated Klyn's head.

"Help me escape his wrath?" Klyn sounds hopeful. "I didn't mean to do it, but it was too hard to resist. I have never seen true mating."

Noah slaps him. "That was your king, b.a.s.t.a.r.d."

It stings. Klyn presses his hand against his cheek. "I have the recording. Do you want to see it?"

Noah gives up. There is no saving this guy.

"There is only one person who can help you," Kai says to him in a low voice after Noah leaves. Klyn knows that only Kai is wise enough to crack this problem.
