There was a moment of silence from the other end of the phone, or at least Ruan Danchen felt that that period of silence was particularly long.

"When are you coming back?" Ruan Danchen asked with a guilty conscience in fear that he might detect some abnormalities, plus she really missed him right now.

"Miss me?" Qi Chenglin's mellow voice mixed with a tinge of happiness.
