Suddenly, a man with gla.s.ses entered through the front door and said those words coldly.

The senator's gloomy face suddenly brightened with happiness when he saw the youth coming in, while his wife wore a dark look on her face like she had just met an enemy.

"b.a.s.t.a.r.d? Aren't you the b.a.s.t.a.r.d here?" the woman sneered, as she b.u.mped her shoulders on the young man before making her way out of the door.

The young man just lowered his head, while his pair of eyes flashed with a cold glint. If Michael was here, then he would certainly smell the scent of someone who had killed around the young man.

"Alexis! Don't mind her! You're finally home!" Mike walked over to the young man and gave him a quick hug.

"I'm okay. I'm already used to it"

Alexis hugged his father back.

"So, how's your business lately? I heard that you were able to make friends with the third young master of Ros.h.i.+ld Family" asked Mike, as he really feels proud about this son of his.

"Yes, my jewelry business is doing well lately father, and I only managed to make friends with James during a c.o.c.ktail party three nights ago"

Alexis said those words looking really proud. After all, he is more successful in life compared to his b.a.s.t.a.r.dy older brother who fools around all day.

In fact, Michael would probably even respect this guy because he wasn't the least bit tainted by his family's obnoxious behavior.

Even calling Alexis a "good person" among his family wouldn't be an exaggeration with how corrupted his family's personalities are, at least his actions wouldn't go past the bottom line of raping someone just because he couldn't get a girl to like him, very much unlike his older brother, Jin.
