The others were enjoying the night as they ate a lot of different kind of foods from different cultures, they even went to karaoke as they drank beer, and watched the fireworks display that always happens every week in the city because there is like a festival every weekend with how many people are out and about on those days at night.

And the only other person that seems to be not enjoying the night is Genesis after what happened between him and Monk earlier as he had been wearing this dark look on his face since then like he was thinking about something deep that he can't focus on enjoying the festivities tonight.

"What's wrong? You've been wearing that look on your face since your argument with Monk. Are the muscles in your face not even tired?"

Chakram came over to Genesis's side, making fun of him while wearing that silly smile on his face.

"Tsk!"

Genesis looked at him, then clicked his tongue before ignoring him as he just focused his sights on the scenes happening around them.

"Loosen up man, you should enjoy the night because we rarely come out. Rest your worries for now, and worry about it tomorrow, but for the time being, have fun and enjoy the night!"

Chakram just chuckled and gave Genesis a loud smack on his back and caught up to the others.

Genesis halted in his steps as he looked at Chakram's back, he sighed and looked up towards the dark night sky.

'I want to forget..but...but"

'Tomorrow...but tonight, I'll enjoy it for now'

Meanwhile.

Michael and Amanda had just boarded their plane.

Their plane took off to its destination a few minutes later as Michael and Amanda just slept through all of it.

And a few hours later, their plane successfully landed at Marcos International Airport in Pearl Nation.

It was already eleven in the evening when the plane touched down.

And a car from the hotel that Michael had made reservations from before the trip came to pick the two of them up.

It was a brand new looking Toyota Fortuner SUV, it looked so awesome with its slick black color.

"I thought we're going to Bora Bora?" Amanda said to Michael when they got inside the car.

Michael looked at the pa.s.sing scenery outside and said, "Of course, but I need to deal with something in this place babe, and we'll head to Bora Bora soon after"

While on her phone chatting with Jenny telling her that they had safely arrived, Amanda raised an eyebrow when she heard his reply and looked at him, "Is it related to your work?"

"You can say that, and I need to meet a friend after we arrive at the hotel, so don't wait for me and get some rest first, alright?" said Michael after giving Amanda a quick kiss on her lips as he caressed her face while looking directly into her eyes.

"Alright, don't get yourself hurt then," Amanda said as she quickly realized what plans Michael had tonight.

While the two of them are having a vague conversation between themselves, they didn't notice that their driver is looking at the two of them weirdly from the rearview mirror, but he kept silent and tried to forget what he heard from the two of them because he felt something amiss, thanks to his senses that he had developed from interacting with different people from all walks of life that he had driven for before.

'It feels like what they are talking about is related to something dangerous'

Thought the driver, as he a got a s.h.i.+ver down his spine, and decided to focus on just driving.

'Haist, people are so scary these days! As there's even a group of b.a.s.t.a.r.ds who r.a.p.ed a poor girl a few days ago!'

Almost half an hour later, they finally arrived at the hotel.

"Good evening sir and ma'am. Welcome to Transylvania Hotel!"

A hotel employee came running over towards them when the car had just stopped and quickly greeted the two when they had just stepped down, and after that, he swiftly brought down their luggage from the car and placed them on the bell cart.

"Thank you," Amanda said to the guy while Michael just smiled.

Then he took out his wallet and pulled out a hundred dollar bill and gave it to the man who drove them here earlier as he thought that he must have waited for quite a while for them.

Looking at the hundred dollar bill on Michael's hand, "Sir, this is too much. I didn't do much"

"Take it, rarely am I this generous," said Michael as he grabbed the old man's hand and stuffed the money in his hands before turning around and made his way inside the building.

After checking in, Michael and Amanda headed towards their room with the hotel employee from earlier leading the way.

"Thank you so much, sir," said the employee with a huge smile on his face when he received the fifty dollar bill from Michael.

Michael smiled and said, "No worries"

Then he closed the door, and when he turned around, he saw Amanda standing in the middle of the room with her arms crossed over her chest and looking at him.

"What?" Michael said when Amanda just kept staring at him without saying anything.

Amanda then just shrugged her shoulders and took a towel from the bed, and said, "If you're leaving now, then go, cause I want to go to Bora Bora soon"

Michael smiled and suddenly placed his hand on the wall, blocking Amanda from going to the bathroom.

"What are you doing? Move" Amanda glared at him.

Michael just smiled and lightly pushed her against the wall.

"This jerk...uhmm.."

Michael started kissing Amanda on her lips, who tried to resist at first but in the end, she also answered his pa.s.sionate kiss with her own.

A few seconds later, both of their lips separated.

"I'll be back fast, maybe...you know..hehe"

Michael said as she gave Amanda another kiss.

"Just get out, you jerk" Amanda pushed him away and entered the bathroom and slammed the door on his face.

'Dang, I'm suddenly feeling hot, should have never done that'

Michael thought as he resisted the urge to stay, and quickly changed his outfit into something more appropriate for the evening...for doing something secretive.
