Davis naturally didn't have any heart or organs to speak of, as everything in his Solitary Soul Avatar was conjured using soul essence and soul force. Even though they were all something made from soul force, he could still feel fleshy sensations that a normal body could feel, and the feeling of the heartbeat was one of them, making it feel awfully similar to a real body.

Davis felt extremely uncomfortable over this unnatural beating of his heart that his expression almost snapped under the mask.

"Tell me... What have you done to me?"

"I..." Tina Roxley looked shaken with tears staining her face. She subconsciously shook her head lightly, not knowing what this masked man, no, Alchemist Scythe, was talking about.

"Oh, you're now playing ignorant?"

"No... I-"

"What have you done to me using Karma Laws!?" Davis truly snapped the next second on hearing her excuse for the second time, "What did you make the Mystic Diviner do!? Stop making me feel like this, you obsessed woman...!"

He quickly became mad, not understanding why he would feel strong emotions for this woman.

What kind of black magic had she cast on him to make him feel like this?

He could only recall that image of sleeping with her, but that was enough for him to feel strong emotions for her? What kind of bulls.h.i.+t power was this? Perhaps, it was even more potent than his Misdirection, the ability to manipulate attention, even emotions using the Karma Threads.

"W-What... are you s-saying...?" Tina Roxley sniffled in an aggrieved voice.

The emotions she felt before this was inexplicable, as if she couldn't feel anymore heartened to have seen him again, but the words he said made her heart plunge into the abyss.

She couldn't understand as she kept heaving for breath as she soundlessly cried like a little, aggrieved girl.

Davis became exasperated as he saw Tina Roxley cry.

Nevertheless, he felt like he had to calm his emotions down. Otherwise, he was aware that he couldn't tell if she was lying or not with his Heart Intent. He put his anger for her aside and began calming himself down using his willpower. Within five seconds, he calmed down, his emotions becoming calmer as a ripple less lake.

He reached out his hand to remove his mask. His hair changed to blonde color with the cleansing of his soul force while his face became revealed, looking handsome yet cold, his sapphire eyes simply looking as it was staring into Tina Roxley's very soul.

Tina Roxley became stunned as she looked at his face. It was this face that she wanted to see the most in all these years. She had never seen Alchemist Scythe removing his mask before, but now that she had seen the face under the mask, she was convinced!

It was him! He was the man that fate had decided for her, but yet somehow, it became void, altered, leaving her feeling empty somewhere in her heart all this time.

Intense emotions welled up within her as she experienced a chill, but the words he said made her lower her head in contemplation. She couldn't help but feel that she had to grasp this chance no matter what to confess all she knew about their future! No, their past!

Davis felt like he could continue the conversation now that she looked like she had stopped crying, but the next second, his emotions became overwhelmed by her strong emotions towards him, causing him to lightly flinch.

'Are you kidding me...? I'm at the King Soul Stage... How are her emotions powerful enough to overwhelm mine!?' Davis instantly stopped using Heart Intent to stop being influenced.

Davis's expression became a bit unsightly as he thought about this possibility. He instantly felt like using Fallen Heaven to enslave her so that he can know the method to undo this hex. However, he stayed his hand as nothing was verified yet.

Besides, how could he not notice if something had been done to him?

Even if it was that Mystic Diviner who had done this to him, he could easily know something had been implanted in him considering that the Mystic Diviner had a lesser Soul Forging Cultivation than him, not to mention that it was difficult to get past Fallen Heaven's senses.

He knew that Mystic Diviners could divine one's past, present, and future, as well as use unearthly arts to use Karma Laws to attack, defend, and support. These were the basic things he knew about them.

Tina Roxley nodded her head but then shook, "I didn't use Uncle Aurelius, but he wanted to improve his skills, and I wanted to know what the future held for me in my messed up life. We consented along with father, I mean, Master Brandis Mercer, to have divination performed on me to know about my future, and what we saw was..."

Tina Roxley stared at Davis with her amethyst eyes as she raised her hand, pointing her lithe index finger at his face, "You... this face..."

Davis's heart shook while Tina Roxley continued.

"It's uncannily similar to the man who made my life happier amidst the mess I was born in, almost m.a.k.i.n.g. .l.o.v.e with me in the divination I saw! I won't ever forget nor mistake someone else for it!"

"It was you!" Tina Roxley's expression severely shook as her hands trembled, "It could be no one else but you, Alchemist Scythe!"

"!!!" Davis took a deep breath as he felt nothing but disbelief in his heart, mind, and soul as he heard Tina Roxley's bold and a.s.sured voice.

He didn't know what to make of this, but he also felt like this could be true, considering the strange image he had seen about sleeping with Tina Roxley but then why it was shown to him at that particular moment of breakthrough?

Could it be just as he thought that Fallen Heaven's Karma Laws had drastically experienced an improvement and, in turn, invoked something in him, making him know or warning him how the trajectory of his original fate had changed?

He had already theorized how Fallen Heaven had the possibility of continuously changing fate every time he had used it, so he felt that Tina Roxley was not lying as well. However, he found this difficult to believe, making him confused, his thoughts becoming a tangled mess from thinking all sorts of possibilities.
