'The Frost Dragon roared out and began to move in haste. The unprecedented appearance of the Phoenix made the Frost Dragon feel danger. The Phoenix in front of it may seem weak, but its flames were too strong for it to be taken lightly.

The Frost Dragon's Saint Soul had already been destroyed by the Abyss Demon General. It had only escaped by the skin of its teeth by using its strongest innate technique which led to the Frost Dragon's cultivation dropping to middle-level-7 nascent soul stage and its bloodline almost burning up.

After a month of cultivation to regain its strength. The Frost Dragon had finally reached late-level-7 nascent soul stage. But who would have thought that a Phoenix that could suppress its ice would come for its life?

The Phoenix had already used what seemed to be its strongest technique and it would seem that the Phoenix was h.e.l.l-bent on killing the Frost Dragon. The Frost Dragon could not turn into the idea of negotiating.

The only thing it could do was to protect itself.

ROAR!!!

The Frost Dragon's roar reverberated inside the hollowed area inside the cave. The Frost Dragon stood up with haste and gathered qi and the frost in its mouth. The Frost Dragon delivered a devastating breathe attack to counter the Phoenix's vermillion flame.

The Frosted Breath cannoned out of the Frost Dragon's mouth and met with the flames. Spreading its wings, the Frost Dragon showed its domineering figure to the Phoenix to show its dominance.

The two beasts that came from the Deity Beasts battled it out in the form of their elemental might. Fire and Ice met and tried to best one another. But the Frost Dragon's breathe attack was slowly getting overpowered by the vermillion flame.

In the middle of the area were two forces meet, two different areas became apparent. Ice and fire was separated and the scorching hot flames started melting the blue crystals that illuminated the area.

On the other side, the frost had spread out even more as towering ice sharps were created. The Frost Dragon's ice had yet to show its final push and its strength was not waning despite it being suppressed by the vermillion flames.

The ice of the Frost Dragon let out was something out of this world. It was able to contend with the vermillion flames of the Phoenix.

However, at this moment a light flashed from the side and the Frost Dragon felt a gathering of qi coming from the side. The qi being gathered was immense, it was terrifying and screamed of danger.

It was filled with the aura of slaughter and the aura of destruction. It was pure destruction and nothing more, a black light flashed from the corner and as the Frost Dragon looked, it saw a devil with a devilish but beautiful black wings kneeling on the ground as he pulled the bowstring of his black bow.

The arrow that was condensed from spirit qi was powerful enough that it was beginning to influence its surroundings. The aura of destruction and slaughter was too strong that the stones around the devil was crumbling.

"HEAVEN'S WRATH!!!"

Boom!

An even louder explosion sounded out as the arrow was let out. The arrow whistled through the air and with impeccable aim, it flew to the Frost Dragon's eyes, piercing and destroying its left eye.

The Frost Dragon roared out in pain as blood started gus.h.i.+ng out from its destroyed eyes and its frozen breath wavered. The wavering frosty breath paved an opening to Bai Xue and screeched as she began her final push to destroy the Frost Dragon.

The frosty breath of the Frost Dragon was devoured by the vermillion flames and the pained roar of the Dragon echoed out as it too got devoured by flames.

However, that was not all, a rain of arrows came from above and it seeks the Dragon's head as if it wanted to pierce its skull.

The Dragon was in pain but could do nothing. The h.e.l.lish qi that entered its body began running amok all over its meridians and veins attempting to destroy that had life.

Veins popped out of the Dragon's body and black colored liquid pa.s.sed through those veins. As the black liquid pa.s.sed through the veins, it started attempting to taint and destroy everything.

w.a.n.g Ling who was continuously firing arrows and Bai Xue who was trying to hang on as her spirit qi got devoured by her expenditure of qi. Even hanging on was tough for Bai Xue.

The Frost Dragon had already been damaged to the point it was pitiful.

Its left eye was destroyed and its meridians and veins were being destroyed by the h.e.l.lish qi. It was soon going to die. But as the thought of death appeared in the mind of the Frost Dragon.

The Frost Dragon's eyes suddenly became red as its remaining strength and power became stronger. The anxiousness it had previously as it looked at the powerful Phoenix suddenly disappeared.

It looked at Bai Xue and thought.

[Phoenix blood can heal me… I need that Phoenix to die!]

The thought process of the Frost Dragon became clear. Its goal linear and that was to kill the Phoenix that was in front of it. If it could kill the Phoenix, then it would be able to regain a good amount of strength and qi.

Having a blood-filled thought of tearing Bai Xue to pieces and drinking her blood. The Frost Dragon pulled an unimaginable amount of qi from its bloodline and ignited what is left of it.

The Frost Dragon that seemed to have been backed into a corner suddenly became an all-powerful being. Its body that was already oozing with frosty and cold air bursts with white mist that brought about a great blizzard!

"PHOENIX, I'LL TAKE YOUR BLOOD AND FEAST ON YOUR FLEs.h.!.+"

The Frost Dragon's breathe attack paused but quickly returned. This time, it was even more powerful than before and the vermillion flames of Bai Xue was put in a stalemate with Frost Dragon's breathe.

But right now, it was Bai Xue was beginning to falter. Her strength and qi was about to run out as she was losing strength as time went on. Being a level-3 nascent soul stage spirit beasts had less storage than a spirit beast that was at the seventh level.

However, the Frost Dragon was not using its bloodline ignition without a price. Its cultivation that was late-level-7 nascent soul stage was beginning to drop at a rapid pace. It had yet to pa.s.s more than a minute and its cultivation had already dropped to middle-level-7 nascent soul stage.

w.a.n.g Ling saw these two points and became worried. Although the Frost Dragon was losing its cultivation. Bai Xue was also about to reach her end as her storage was lower than her opponent's.

"Hang on to it, continue your flames going, we can't fail to kill it now! f.u.c.k!" w.a.n.g Ling saw the vermillion flames falter once again and he became even worrier.

w.a.n.g Ling was also just about to reach his limits, seven out of his nine energy palaces have already run out of qi. On the edge of running dry, w.a.n.g Ling was quickly getting tired of raining down arrows. So he ditched the bow and unfurled his wings to its fullest before taking out his Saint Sword to move in for a decisive blow.

The Frost Dragon had already become weaker than before. It was now at early-level-7 nascent soul stage cultivation.

w.a.n.g Ling jumped forth and Bai Xue's qi finally run out and the flames quickly dissipated. Seeing this, w.a.n.g Ling became anxious for he saw the berserk Frost Dragon quickly making its way towards Bai Xue who was barely hanging onto a thread.

Bai Xue saw this and thought how her greed once again got the better of her. Now, she was even going to endanger the life of w.a.n.g Ling because of her greed.

Their plan should have worked, but the unknown variable of the Frost Dragon going berserk was unprecedented. Bai Xue's gigantic body became limp as she lost her strength.

Her ability to fly was mostly lost and she was slowly descending. But the Frost Dragon was going at a terrifying pace. It wanted her blood so badly that it did not notice its veins screaming in pain.

In its mind, all will be better when it gets its hands on Bai Xue's blood.

"YOUR MINE, PHOENIX!!"

The Frost Dragon roared and opened its ginormous maw. It wanted to bite Bai Xue's neck off, but w.a.n.g Ling's angered voice came from the side as his body suddenly appeared right beside the Dragon and slashed out with his sword!

"Get away you filthy beast!! JUDGMENT!"

w.a.n.g Ling's scream reverberated as his sword illuminated with a golden light. The Judgement he had been training and honing had long improved. From an Intermediate Accomplishment to Advance.

Right now, it radiated with his sword qi and spirit qi combined with his intent to kill. He wanted to slice the beast in front of him in half and he would not stop until he does so.

w.a.n.g Ling used judgment and most of the Judgement's essence was captured. The Judgement was a technique that is comparable to an executioner's ax that will cut down anything it deemed guilty.

However, the Frost Dragon only gave him a look before smas.h.i.+ng him away as if he was some fly. w.a.n.g Ling's body hit Bai Xue's and the two of them was sent flying and cras.h.i.+ng into the hard walls which collapsed in the process.  

Boom!

Smoke rose and the Frost Dragon landed on the ground. It run-up to the two of them as it wanted to devour Bai Xue's whole being. It was intimidating and Bai Xue wanted to move but couldn't.

She looked at the injured w.a.n.g Ling who had his right leg broken in the process of getting smacked. She looked at him weakly as she said.

"Get out of here, you can't beat that thing. Fly away immediately, I'll manage to leave this place somehow!"

w.a.n.g Ling heard her but didn't listen as he got up only to fall miserably. Without his right leg supporting him properly, w.a.n.g Ling had no change at the Frost Dragon.

"You can't do anything against that thing!" Bai Xue exclaimed once more. She didn't want w.a.n.g Ling to die here. It was her insistence of killing the Frost Dragon that will get them killed, and she didn't want that.

However, w.a.n.g Ling just unfurled his wings and rose into the air. He looked down at Bai Xue with fierce eyes and then turned to the Frost Dragon with even fiercer glares.

His body started heating up as a golden halo appeared on the back of his head.

w.a.n.g Ling opened his mouth and said, "Do you think I have lost? Who do you think I am!?"

w.a.n.g Ling paused and two different sparks flickered on both sides of his body.

Raising his head, w.a.n.g Ling looked at the Frost Dragon and roared!

"Heaven and h.e.l.l Flame! Ignite!"

Boom!

Two flames that was black and white erupted from w.a.n.g Ling's depths.

"This is not yet over!"

w.a.n.g Ling was not ready to die or run away from a killable target!
