Xie Wu stepped up the stage and so did Feng Wuhan. Upon stepping up, w.a.n.g Ling watched Feng Wuhan intently. He knows that she would be his opponent on the next round, but for some odd reason, the presence of Xie Wu managed to make w.a.n.g Ling's judgment to waver.

He shook his head and in the end decided to pay attention to both.

w.a.n.g Ling stood beside Yan Renhuo and began meditating to recuperate. He calmed his heart and became one with the world.

On the stage stood two youths, Feng Wuhan and Xie Wu.

Feng Wuhan wielded Blood Wind Sword and Xie Wu wielded an ordinary grade-2 artifact. Both have the aura of top experts for people their age, but it was clear that Feng Wuhan was the one who had the advantage between the two.

Feng Wuhan raised her sword and pointed it at Xie Wu and said in an arrogant tone, "Step down, you are not a match for me." Xie Wu responded with indifference and merely waited for the proctor to call for the start of the fight.

"Begin!" The proctor announced and both stood still for a brief amount of time. None moved and the two of them became still as stone. However, the stillness was soon broken by Xie Wu who took a calm step forward.

He raised the sword he held and walked ever so slowly towards Feng Wuhan. Feng Wuhan only watched as Xie Wu approached not doing anything to stop his advance. Her confidence could be seen in her eyes.

Ten steps away from Feng Wuhan, Xie Wu made his move and moved his sword horizontally. It was slow and devoid of strength, a weird sight to behold.

Feng Wuhan watched this and creased her brows! Dang! She parried the slow-moving blade. It was knocked away, "Are you looking down upon me?" Feng Wuhan asked and made her sword descend on the body of Xie Wu.

It was unhindered and full of energy. But Xie Wu only moved his body to the side and dodged the incoming attack as if it was a normal occurrence before making a comment, "I have seen what it is that you offer. I shall now execute appropriate measures to take you down." He said with great confidence and sureness before making his foot tap the floor and disappearing from sight.

Feng Wuhan saw the world turn upside down and her body lost touch with the ground. She lost her footing and her body was sent flying backward seven steps back before falling to her back.

Gasps could be heard, the strongest of the Phoenixes had fallen on her back by someone who managed to get to where he is by 'luck'. It was an unbelievable sight that managed to make many speechless. But the one who could not understand what was happening was Feng Wuhan.

She stared at the sky not knowing what just happened. She was confused and unbelieving.

[Why did I fall? What hit me?] She did not even know what happened much less what kind of weapon Xie Liu had used to make her fall. She was completely in the dark. But then her mind returned to her and she realized that whatever she was. .h.i.t with, the end result is that she is lying on the ground after a single hit.

She jumped up and looked at Xie Liu with seriousness. Her earlier arrogance disappeared and her qi became sharper. She became ready and her qi raised to its maximum capability. Her sword began to dance but that dance can never be completed because Xie Liu will not let her do so.

He tapped his foot on the floor and he disappeared, his sword will reach Feng Wuhan's and his fist will then reach a part of her body. It did not matter what Feng Wuhan did because in the face of his speed and power she was outcla.s.sed to the point she is unable to show her might.

She could barely keep up with his speed. Red-colored qi moved around Xie Liu and her veins were bulging. His eyes were red and his qi was continuously rising. A baleful feeling, it was a horrible atmosphere and Xie Liu was becoming more and more devilish by the moment.

Devils are known for their extraordinary strength and although Xie Liu's body is merely barely keeping up with his expenditure of high-tier devilish qi it was clear that his strength and capabilities overshadow Feng Wuhan.

Upon activating her bloodline, wind gathered around her and they moved with her mind. She tried moving but Xie Liu whispered, "Threat increase, moving on to Second Layer of Pseudo h.e.l.lish Qi, True Devil Warrior Bloodline Activate."

Xie Liu's body convulsed and grotesque wing made of thing flesh came about. With that appearance, his baleful aura increased and with it so did his strength. He moved once again and with his extreme speed he reached Feng Wuhan without her even noticing it.

Xie Liu grasped his sword tightly and swung it down before Feng Wuhan could react. His sword descended like a clap of thunder, it was fierce and destructive. It was so strong that cut through Feng Wuhan's flesh like it was nothing.

Feng Wuhan coughed up blood as a sword wound was made. She fell to her knees and with a surprised expression, she looked at Xie Liu with fear. She did not even manage to wield the sword of w.a.n.g Wudi in the face of this devil.

It was a frightening experience. With that, she collapsed and her life bordered at the edge of death. People flocked to her side and went to heal her. The winner was decided so Xie Liu went back to his original form and retracted his grotesque wings.

He took one step forward and he coughed up blood, "The qi is too strong." He mentioned and then walked away after taking a pill.

On one side, w.a.n.g Ling had opened his eyes. His attention was no longer at Feng Wuhan because right now, it was his first meeting with someone with a bloodline like his. But he creased his brows saying, "That devil is different."
