Celestial Peak 308 Grovel Before Me You Dogs

In the north of the Lower Heaven, there was a sea that is as dangerous as it is vast. The Dark Sea, the home of numerous oceanic beast that holds terrifying powers. To fight with beasts on their own turf was practically suicide and these beasts despite being aquatic have the ability to fly so even if an Immortal flew up, the chances of getting dragged to the depths was high.

There are only three known ways on how to travel safely across the seas of the Lower Heaven. First would be to board a Wars.h.i.+p that is designed to fight off the beasts, second would be to become strong enough to command fear of everyone in the seas, and the last one would be not traveling at all and just travel through transportation arrays.

They are going to travel through the third method, in a secluded mountain in some parts of the Azure Light State, was the old emissary setting up. After a few tweaks, the array glowed and activated, the old emissary showed a wide smile as he became self-satisfied.

"Hehe, this is good enough. Hey you two, get over here and stand in the middle of the formation." w.a.n.g Ling and Fjord stepped onto the middle of the formation. The old emissary, then looked at them as he brought out a black parchment.

Handing the black parchment to w.a.n.g Ling, the old emissary began his explanation, "This parchment will guide you to the Immortal Field, oh yeah, you, the beastman Immortal, you are to explain to him the rules of the Battlefield, see you now."

The old emissary did not even wait for w.a.n.g Ling to react and already activated the formation.

A bright light shot out from the formation and a large scale spatial distortion happened, the old emissary noticed this and frowned, "This is not supposed to happen. Spatial distortion huh, I need to correct this."

The old emissary frowned and walked up to the formation and placed his hands before it. A red corona appeared on his forehead and then formed a crown on his head. The old man's entire aura changed and his entire being spiked up with power, the spatial distortion caused by unknown means settled as soon as some force exploded out of the old emissary's body.

The formation stabilized and the two youths was transferred soon after. The old man frowned and then waved his hands to erase the formation. The corona on his forehead disappeared and then his aura reverted back to normal.

The old emissary turned to look at the north and then smiled, "Spatial distortion and the wave of h.e.l.lish and Angelic qi a few months ago, it seems like the seal of the Abyssal World is bypa.s.sing the heaven. The High-Heaven and the Bottom-h.e.l.l had already sealed them away a hundred thousand years ago, so why now? Hmm, it seems like trouble is going to be inevitable."

He said those words but he had a wide smile on his face as he did so. The old emissary then flew up to the air and began observing the area trying to decide where he should go, "I need to prepare the Empire and the Province for war, meh, I'll let the others do it I'll kill the small ones first."

The old man decided and then flew off to the horizon.

"What was that?' Fjord asked when he saw the light to slightly tremble. But the trembling soon stopped so he dropped the subject soon enough.

But when w.a.n.g Ling saw it he frowned because the commentary of the Gray Figure was ever-present in his head, [A spatial distortion, huh. That's rather new.]

He thought and the Gray Figure began talking, "It must be because of you reaching Immortality, do not worry about it, it will not cause any severe thing. Rather, it will help you go back home later, just focus on what you want to do."

w.a.n.g Ling listened to the Gray Figure and then the light of the formation finally disappeared. w.a.n.g Ling and Fjord appeared on the other side of the formation and where they stood was on top of a mountain peak.

The destination was rather crude, it was an unkempt ancient platform. w.a.n.g Ling looked around and saw nothing but dried out trees as far as the eye could see. The trees were emanating yin qi and it the area was rather dense with yin qi that it could poison anyone who is unknowingly let their guard down.

w.a.n.g Ling and Fjord noticed these facts sooner than later and they covered their body with Immortal Qi granting them protection from the harmful effects of the yin.

"So, where are you heading now?" It was Fjord who asked w.a.n.g Ling, "I'll be heading east, there's a city there constructed by fellow Immortals, are you coming with me?"

w.a.n.g Ling listened and then nodded his head, he does not have any reason why he should split up with Fjord. With that, w.a.n.g Ling and Fjord left for the city that is bounded at east.

"So, for you mentioned something about a companion you were waiting for? I thought you were not allowed to have someone with you? Is it a woman?" Fjord turned to w.a.n.g Ling and asked. w.a.n.g Ling looked at him and then sighed.

"She is a woman, and my master had said that only she can come with me to ease my worries. Also, in some cases, she is stronger than me despite the two of us being on the same level so she is my partner in difficult times." w.a.n.g Ling answered.

"It almost seems like you two are husband and wife, hahaha. Well, I won't doubt that the two of you are actually like that, but I wonder, who this person who can beat you. On your own observation, who do you think is stronger? Me or that companion of yours?"

"Her, you will be killed in a manner of seconds if she so wills it." w.a.n.g Ling was honest with his words and Fjord obviously did not appreciate being compared to a woman only to be beaten so he put out a dissatisfied look on his face while mumbling something under his breath.

w.a.n.g Ling only laughed at his antics but said nothing else. But then, w.a.n.g Ling stopped dead on his tracks and pulled Fjord back.

"What the h.e.l.l!?" Fjord cursed.

"Shut up for a moment." w.a.n.g Ling covered Fjord's mouth and stopped him from speaking. w.a.n.g Ling then surveyed the area with his eyes and announced, "Show yourselves, I know that you guys are hiding from us!"

w.a.n.g Ling shouted but no one answered. Creasing his brows, w.a.n.g Ling brought out his sword, Fjord saw this and then asked, "Is there an enemy? Oh yeah, I forgot to say this but you can't kill anyone in here, or else the Immortal Will of the forces they are a part of will know who killed their heir, and when you come out of here, you will become the enemy of that faction."

"Alright, but do not worry, I won't kill anyone — I shall dull my blade so do not worry!" w.a.n.g Ling stuck his words and had Heaven's Will dull its blade. However, he had its length increased by two meters and its width by half a meter.

Now, his sword was bigger than he was, and as it got bigger, w.a.n.g Ling had it become as heavy as a 1,000,000 kilograms, "You won't come out, huh, then, I'll force you to."

With his words uttered, w.a.n.g Ling had his newly formed b.a.s.t.a.r.d sword rest on his left shoulders, and as he held it with both hands; his muscles bulged and w.a.n.g Ling swung the 1,000,000 kilogram sword into a full swing!

Fwu!

The sword's movement was rather slow, its contact with the air and its weight made it hard to swing. Any normal Immortal would find it hard for them to swing such a behemoth, but as w.a.n.g Ling held it he did the wind wailed with the movement and the sword and finally, with one swift but terrifyingly strong swing, w.a.n.g Ling's sword exploded out with a storm.

A gale of wind transformed into a full-blown storm swept the five hundred meter area in front of w.a.n.g Ling. The trees were uprooted and the cowards hiding from the shadows had their eyes widened in disbelief as they felt a wall of wind coming for them!

Boom!

One, three, seven people were blown away. Most of which were people of the second meridian Immortal and some were at the first meridian. But as they stood before w.a.n.g Ling's might, only one thing was the result, pure and utter devastation!

The storm lasted for a total of three seconds, but with such a swing that time was enough to thwart the weak.

w.a.n.g Ling stood there with a behemoth of a sword on one hand and he looked down upon the injured 'geniuses' w.a.n.g Ling had a wide pa.s.sive smile on his face and a fierce but cold killing intent emanating from his body.

He opened his mouth and spoke, "Now, whose dog are you? Speak, or I will destroy your Immortal Foundation."

w.a.n.g Ling was too old — too experience to fall for the ploy of these younglings.

A 70,000-year-old fogey can't be outsmarted by such methods.
