Celestial Peak 321 The Kind Hearted Savior

The idols came alive and began attacking the people inside the place. There were more than ten statues and all of which were as strong as a tenth meridian. w.a.n.g Ling was but a third meridian Immortal, he can't handle such opponents without risking anything.

Thankfully, the idol did not attempt to attack him and just let him be. w.a.n.g Ling heaved a sigh of relief and quickly started locating the box, "Over there."

The black box that was adjacent to the feet of the idol was kicked away and w.a.n.g Ling scrambled to the black box and retrieved it. He moved as fast as he could but those who saw the black box was no more than twenty people and all of them, including w.a.n.g Ling aiming for it.

But this time, w.a.n.g Ling was the fastest of them all and he got his hands on the black box. The box was small enough to fit snugly onto his hands and right at the moment he got his hands on the box, w.a.n.g Ling felt danger coming from behind.

Two gigantic fists flew into w.a.n.g Ling and in a hurry, he sidestepped to the side and dodged. But the other fist was still flying towards him, he was vulnerable and soon enough the gigantic fist landed onto him. But he managed to block it with both arms crossed, however, he was still sent flying away.

He crashed into one of the columns but in his hands was the black box. w.a.n.g Ling did not let it go and the idol that chased after him like a madman. w.a.n.g Ling saw this and he tried running away, but the idol was too fast for him and it soon caught up to him.

The fist was once again thrown, but this time w.a.n.g Ling had already grown accustomed to the speed of its fist enabling him to see through it and 'ride' its force. w.a.n.g Ling jumped up and landed on the arm of the idol, he clenched his fist and circulated Chaos Qi onto his right fist.

"Chaotic Thunder Fist!" A devastating force emerged from the hands of w.a.n.g Ling as he executed the modified Thunder Fist! The explosive might of chaos and thunder emerged as a loud, Boom! An explosion rivaling that of a bomb echoed in the area. It was a powerful fist technique, yet, the idol who took it head on did not even budge the little bit.

"What the h.e.l.l?" w.a.n.g Ling cursed before having his body grabbed by the idol, "Argh!"

He was crushed almost to death that is until the black box fell from his hands. The grip of the idol loosened as another opportunist went to the grab the box he had let go. w.a.n.g Ling noticed this and took advantage of the situation.

Circulating his Chaos Qi all over his body, w.a.n.g Ling's strength increased multiple folds and he pried open the fist of the idol that held him hostage. w.a.n.g Ling landed on his feet he was hurt, but not too hurt that he was unable to move around.

w.a.n.g Ling was ready to get away from the idol, he feared that he will once again be attacked. If he were to have an inevitable fight with the idol, w.a.n.g Ling must first gain some distance from the idol and have his mind find s.p.a.ce in order for him to move lighter.

However, before w.a.n.g Ling can even move away, the idol had already moved to hunt down another person ignoring him entirely even though he was the closest of the bunch, "What's going on?'

With breathing s.p.a.ce given to him without a problem, w.a.n.g Ling was given a full view of what is happening. He counted the number of idols (statues) and then made sense of their patterns priorities.

w.a.n.g Ling took in a deep breath and exhaled, "I got it." With a wide devilish grin, w.a.n.g Ling found out the idols attack only the people who got a weapon on their hands. Anyone who has a weapon will be dealt with and from what he can tell, these weapons should be a target of the idols and in a different sense, these idols are compet.i.tors for the treasures w.a.n.g Ling wants to get.

It seems like getting a treasure out of this place would be troublesome. That's the idea, but w.a.n.g Ling did not care. Not everything will be handed out to you, it must be earned and he is not planning on getting out of this place without that box.

"Figure, tell me, what do you see of these idols? Do you see any openings I can take advantage of?"

"Hold your horses, I am trying to find something less dangerous. The ones I found have a chance of you dying if done incorrectly so it is best for us to find a different way."

w.a.n.g Ling shook his head, "That will not do, the number of people here is decreasing. Some are leaving and others are about to have their Immortal Wills activated, the number of our baits will decrease, wait, I have a plan!"

When w.a.n.g Ling was asking the Figure, he was without a single plan. But as he finally gets to talk about the current situation, an idea appeared in his mind and as if he a coward, w.a.n.g Ling turned back and got out of the room without missing a beat.

Doing so naturally incurred questions from the Gray Figure, "What the h.e.l.l are you doing?! That black box is an important thing to us, it will increase our cultivation by leaps and bounds if we use it cleverly, it may even shorten our advance to the seventh meridian from 60 years to 50 years so what the h.e.l.l are you doing?!"

"Shut it, just watch, I have a plan." When w.a.n.g Ling got out of that room, he began circling around the hallway and managed to pa.s.s the connected paths. The seven pa.s.sageways that all led to the area where the treasure lays were all connected with one another in one circular, but complicated route.

Though it took w.a.n.g Ling a minute to do so, he managed to circle around the area and as he did so, he would occasionally pear into what is currently happening and observe the current events with his sharp eyes.

w.a.n.g Ling saw a number of people on the ground, none were at the level of near death. A good number of people were still going around fighting for the treasure with other people and the idols.

Locating the man with the black box, w.a.n.g Ling focused and soon enough w.a.n.g Ling saw the man who had the box. The person who had the box was a handsome man, he did not know who it was but his strength was at the seventh meridian and from what he could tell, that particular man could jump levels up to the tenth meridian. He was facing three idols at once.

"Hehe, he must be a genius at the rankings." w.a.n.g Ling surmised and then with that thought, w.a.n.g Ling exhaled and cleared his body, "Ocean's Lull." w.a.n.g Ling whispered and then managed to get a good view of his surroundings.

A five hundred-meter circular diameter was created. It had been a while since w.a.n.g Ling used the technique as he had grown stronger, but w.a.n.g Ling still deems the technique useful so he was not going to abandon it.

The area of the Ocean's Lull was enough for w.a.n.g Ling to get a grasp of the situation. On all sides there was no one present. With that, he calmed down and he brought out a bow.

The bow he had with him was a mere Celestial-Grade Artifact. It was the bow he had when he was in the Celestial Spirit Realm. w.a.n.g Ling pulled the strings of the bow and gathered his Chaos Qi into it.

The Qi of the Immortal and the Qi of Chaos was too much for the bow and began to produce crackling sounds. w.a.n.g Ling did not care and merely focused on the handsome youth facing the Idol.

His Ocean's Lull may not reach the young Immortal but his concentration was strong enough to compensate for his deficiencies.

w.a.n.g Ling gathered more and more of his qi and finally, when the bow reached its limits he became satisfied and let go of the bowstrings, "Heaven's Wrath!"

Boom!

A Gray Arrow flew away with terrifying speed. The Arrow moved and so did w.a.n.g Ling. After firing the arrow, he brought out his sword and then circled the area to enter a different pa.s.sage from where he fired the arrow.

The arrow he fired flew straight to the handsome youth and with the youth unsuspecting of what is to come had his right thigh pierced, "Argh! What is this?! An arrow, who was it!?"

He questions as the sneak attack managed to gravely injure him. He howled in pain as he lost his balance and one of the Idols he was engaged in the fight didn't let up and used that situation to deliver a devastating blow to the young man's face.

Boom!

An explosion followed as the young Immortal was almost buried to the ground as his face became bloodied. The Idols did not stop there, the Young Immortal still held the box so why would it stop!?

Boom!

It delivered another punch! And another and another and another~~! The punches did not stop until an ethereal hand emerged from the body of the Young Immortal, the hand emerged and the Idol's fist stopped!

"You lifeless dolls! How dare a simple doll do this to my Son!?" A middle-aged man with similar looks to the Young Immortal emerged from the body of the Young Immortal. He was enraged and as he stared at the three idols still trying to throw punches in his presence he became even more enraged, "You b.a.s.t.a.r.ds! Disappear!"

An incredible might emerged from the ethereal figure and the three idols crumbled under the pressure. Soon enough, the three idols were destroyed and turned to rubbles, the ethereal figure then began disappearing little by little.

His influence in this place is more unwelcome than any other place. This place is a place for Young Immortals, not some geezer who reached G.o.dhood. But he can't leave his son right here, the old man looked at his surroundings and then announced, "Someone! Get my son out of here, whoever it will have their clan and family rewarded by the Grand Deity Sect! This thought will be engraved in the mind of my son!"

The ethereal figure then disappeared after waving his hand. A golden light entered the head of the Young Immortal and then the people who heard the announcement scrambled to help the now unconscious Immortal.

At this moment, one particular man clad in white robes emerged from one of the pa.s.sage and head directly for the Young Immortal. That man had his face covered with a Dragon mask and many thought he was there to save the Young Immortal and he was!

The masked man took the body of the Young Immortal like some luggage and then brought him out of the open area with the box. The Young Immortal at that time saw the masked man and in his mind he thanked him.

The masked man did not know he was thanked as his attention turned to the idol who came running to their side when he took the Young Immortal, "s.h.i.+t, an Idol is chasing me? The box, it must be the box, it must be chasing after that box, sorry about this, whoever you are."

It was then that the man brought out a black short sword and sharp killing intent appeared. The man took the box from the Immortal and then run away after throwing the Young Immortal to one side!

It may have seen ruthless but the half-awake status of the Young Immortal managed to hear the deduction of his savior and deduced he must have taken the box and threw him away in order to help him escape. The Young Immortal lost his consciousness once again shortly after but before he did, a few whispers escaped his mouth, "Thank you, my savior!"
