The White Dragon Valley experienced one of its greatest fights that day when the ball of blood finally cracked. A Black Tiger appeared and a devil fought it to know who was stronger.

No one was able to witness that fight but the aftermath will be testament to how violent and destructive the fight. With trees uprooted and boulders turned to rubbles. The devil and the Black Tiger was something else.

w.a.n.g Ling opened his eyes and noticed that it was already night. He did not know how long he had been out but he knew that it was not short. He did not know where he was exactly but he did not panic and remained calm.

Panicking will not help him and being in an unfamiliar place wasn't that great of a problem. Looking around, w.a.n.g Ling noticed that there were countless savage beasts nearby.

He was inside a crater that had a radius of fifty meters and he was in the middle of that crater. w.a.n.g Ling looked at the angry savage beasts outside and thought it weird why they were not approaching him to be devoured

Looking around, he saw that there were also black fog around the crater. The savage beasts could not enter the black fog. They were frightened by it for some odd reasons.

"Odd.." said w.a.n.g Ling weakly.

He was currently powerless, no strength, no spirit qi, and his blood essence were almost drained. w.a.n.g Ling did not suffer any severe backlash like having his bloodline go down a level. But he was feeling a lot of pain.

"My body is not yet strong enough to endure a full ignition. My bloodline is still too strong. But if I can't even endure it now, how will I after achieving an advancement regarding my bloodline?" w.a.n.g Ling said to himself.

"I need to start training my body again."

Being focus on improving his cultivation as fast as possible. Although he experienced a meteoric rise in his cultivation. w.a.n.g Ling was missing out on cultivating his body and resulting for it to be lacking.

w.a.n.g Ling took note of this and forced himself to sit on the ground. He did his best to get up and something soft suddenly brushed his right hand. He turned his head over and saw an injured little white fox.

Finding the presence of the white fox odd, w.a.n.g Ling picked it up and placed it on his lap. He observed the white fox and noticed that an almost invisible mist was coming out of its body.

He looked around and saw the mist joining up with the rest of the fog. w.a.n.g Ling was now sure that the fog came from this little thing. Having interest with the little white fox, w.a.n.g Ling started stroking its fur before taking out a piece of spirit stone from his storage ring.

Beginning his absorption, w.a.n.g Ling felt his qi pillars being revitalized. He felt alive after an hour. An hour later, w.a.n.g Ling had acc.u.mulated enough spirit qi to make his pillars half full.

w.a.n.g Ling was happy that this was the case. With supreme spirit qi present inside his body. He suddenly began treating the wounds of the white fox. Although he had a vague idea as to what this white fox really was, w.a.n.g Ling didn't care and just started healing it.

He was not so proficient in healing as a divine doctor, but his supreme spirit qi was so powerful that it can even help others quickly regenerate from their injuries. The supreme spirit qi was something mysterious.

w.a.n.g Ling looked at the white fox with interest in his eyes. He was curious as to what kind of technique this guy have to shapes.h.i.+ft. What an interesting ability.

"This little beast is getting more interesting. No matter what this beast is, hit should be worth cultivating. It's also an ancient beast that have countless years of experience, who knows, it might even be older than I am." w.a.n.g Ling mused as he continued the treatment.

w.a.n.g Ling subsequently took out a beast core and started absorbing it within himself and redirecting the refined beast qi to the white fox. That kind of qi should be more helpful than ordinary one.

Although this white fox had just a life and death battle with him not long before this. w.a.n.g Ling saw the white fox with not hate. Which was rare for his stares were always filled with caution and hate.

When he fought with the Black Tiger, he saw the honest that it held. Its pride and arrogance, it wouldn't stoop low enough to attack its benefactor. This kind of wishful thinking was something new to him.

Of course w.a.n.g Ling was not willing to actually help this white fox just because of that empty beliefs. He was a rational man who only look at profit and benefits.

This act of treating this little white fox is him trying to repay it for the protection he indirectly received. The white fox is the source of the fog, therefore it is his savior.

As someone as old as he, w.a.n.g Ling view this act of saving his life as something he had to repay. Him, healing this white fox is going to be his payment.

This act of healing the white fox continued for five days. For five days, w.a.n.g Ling had used up all his acc.u.mulated spirit stones but had been able to stabilize his bodily functions.

Now, he is finally able to walk around, but is far from being able to run around. No sign of his teammates coming for him but he didn't care and just waited for them to come. The process of healing the white fox was also going well.

With his supreme spirit qi, w.a.n.g Ling was able to heal it with great speed. Also, he had been supplementing the treatment process with beast cores. He had been using a lot of them so he was down to a dozen.

Another two days pa.s.sed and he was down to three beast cores. It was at this day that the white fox suddenly moved. The white fox opened its eyes leisurely as if it was not in a precarious situation and even got up as soon as it could.

The white fox yawned and stretched out its body and lazily started looking around to confirm its location. The white fox had a hazy look in its eyes and as it was looking around, the white fox noticed w.a.n.g Ling that it had just been fighting days ago.

Jumping back, the white fox took a stance and looked at w.a.n.g Ling threateningly.

"Human, you're still alive?" the white fox was startled as it knew that it had used its strongest attack to finish him off. How can this human be alive?

w.a.n.g Ling lazily stretched his body and answered the white fox in a leisurely manner, "You shouldn't be talking to me like that. I just healed you so a little bit of appreciation might be better.

"You might also want to look at yourself, I don't what happened to you but you looked like you have shrunken to that tiny size of yours. Heck, you even change species altogether."

w.a.n.g Ling teased the white fox and the white fix reacted as he had just expected and jumped in a fright. The white fox looked at itself and immediately changed its form to the two meter large Black Tiger.

It then turned to w.a.n.g Ling and looked at him with a sense of bewilderment. For this human to not only spared him when he could have killed him but also healed him when he shouldn't have.

"Why didn't you kill me?" the white tiger asked w.a.n.g Ling as it looked at him cautiously.

"I didn't see any benefits on having you dead. I am much interested in your strength when you're alive, because like I have said, I want you to become my mount." w.a.n.g Ling answered leisurely.

The Black Tiger flinched from his weird answer, "Hmph, although I am grateful to you, do you really think that I am going to comply with your demands? I am the king of all beasts, I will not become a mount for anyone."

For as prideful as the Black Tiger, death was much better than being a mount. It looked at w.a.n.g Ling with unflinching eyes.

"Then why don't I rephrase it for your own convenience. Just come with me, your strength and cultivation interest me, why don't we help each other?"

w.a.n.g Ling looked at the tiger and showed an unbridled smile, he wanted this Black Tiger to come with him. It was something that came from the higher realms, it had more uses than one. Find authorized novels in Webnovel, faster updates, better experience,Please click for visiting.

The Black Tiger looked at w.a.n.g Ling with doubting eyes and said.

"I don't trust you, you humans are nothing but a bundle of lies. Empty claims is nothing but claims, I can't trust your words."

w.a.n.g Ling laughed then took out his sword. He stabbed it on the ground in front of him and looked at the Black Tiger.

"A Heavenly Blood Pact! I'll prove my words with a Heavenly Blood Pact."

w.a.n.g Ling was not going to bend on this one.
