Inside the hollowed area, w.a.n.g Ling opened his eyes after five days of sleeping. His body was reinvigorated by Bai Xue's blood essence and his very own angelic qi.

But w.a.n.g Ling was still feeling pain as he got up from the ground. Looking around, he didn't see the corpse of the Frost Dragon, instead, there was a dried-up corpse just a couple of meters of him.

Beside him was Bai Xue who was on her white fox form but was a lot bigger. She was huddled up to w.a.n.g Ling, she looked like she was protecting him from possible danger.

On Bai Xue's fur was his blood and her mixed together as one. They looked like a mess but w.a.n.g Ling could not do anything as this was the first time he woke up after a long while.

He looked at himself and realized just how filthy his body was. The image he carried right now had no inkling of an expert's pride but that of a homeless one. w.a.n.g Ling was disappointed at himself.

w.a.n.g Ling checked his whole body and noticed that his right leg that was supposed to be broken was already beginning to heal. In a few more days, it should heal completely.

He saw some more injuries riddled all over his body. His back was especially injured. The sharps from the pointy rocks he crashed into managed to injure him so much, there was also some mark on w.a.n.g Ling's hands left by the Frost Dragon's teeth.

Her waking up was not peaceful. The roar of a Dragon echoed in the hollowed-out room. Bai Xue's body shot up to the skies and she transformed into a Frost Dragon that was over 20-meters large.

The temperature drop as Bai Xue's new form and ability was used. Her surroundings became icy and resembled that of an ice cave. Bai Xue had gained a Dragon form.

w.a.n.g Ling watched as Bai Xue celebrated. The dragonic qi from the Frost Dragon was already coating her body.

Bai Xue's roar of delight continued for hours before she stopped.

Landing on the ground, Bai Xue transformed into a white fox and landed in front of w.a.n.g Ling. She had been aware of him since his awakening but had been saying nothing as she too was busy with a.s.similating the Frost Dragon's Soul and Blood Essence into her body.

Seeing w.a.n.g Ling was alive and was looking good as his cultivation had already reached the peak of the middle-level-2 nascent soul stage.

Bai Xue's awkward-looking expression vanished as w.a.n.g Ling's voice echoed out. She nodded her head in a heavy manner. The usual outspoken Bai Xue was silent. It was very disappointing but w.a.n.g Ling could see why she would act like so.

Bai Xue had just been beaten black and blue by the Frost Dragon. She almost died and w.a.n.g Ling was together with her. In the end, she, who was the far stronger than w.a.n.g Ling was saved by him.

It was along the while he was injured beyond belief. She was too embarra.s.sed to directly face him right now.

w.a.n.g Ling saw this and sighed, he now knew that this white fox was rather immature when compared to his state of mind. He paused as he said seconds later.

Bai Xue readily agreed and w.a.n.g Ling was given a lot of s.p.a.ce for his seclusion.

w.a.n.g Ling immediately began organizing the flames. The h.e.l.l Flame was made to circulate all over his body and the Heaven Flame was made to stay inside his energy palace.

The pain made his face reflected the pain he was feeling. The distortion on his face says it all.

w.a.n.g Ling had started his plans to gain more strength. It took him a week before he could settle with his plans in cultivation.

In the end, it was not worth his time thinking it through the matter. w.a.n.g Ling closed his eyes and observed the figure that was swaying inside the towering flames.

Stretching his hands as he opened his eyes. w.a.n.g Ling thought he could reach out to his nascent soul that was bathing in the two flames like nothing but the flames were too strong that he could not approach it.

The flames were controllable but that was only on the outside. w.a.n.g Ling had yet to do the second ignition of the flames, meaning, he had very limited control over it.

There were different stages of ignition in terms of the flames. In the past, the True Chaos Flame had a total of 3 ignitions: first would be the [Flame Burst] where the flames run rampant outside without any use other than coating and burning the surrounding area, second was [Avatar Creation] where the cultivation must create and manifest the forms of their avatars, third was [Ascension] simply put, this process requires the user to gain full control of the flames.
