Rise Of Myriad Magic Emperor 139 Night Of Starry Sky

Jai was carrying Kai on his shoulder while holding the heroic Spirit Command staff in his right hand and flying towards the Ebonwick Fortress.

After the removal of the core of the ancient battlefield, the dark elemental essence has started to disperse. While the undeads of ancient battlefields were devoured by the Samsara world. Before, the materialistic world and Samsara spiritual world started to again separate from each other.

But the mystery behind who is trying to invade the Samsara world has still not been solved and according to Kai, Death has asked for his help on this matter.

On the other hand Jai currently unaware of the changes going around the continent and the words of Dai Yusa are causing Chaos and discussion throughout the continent as the emergency meetings were getting conducted throughout the empire and kingdom as he flew towards the Ebonwick Fortress.

While everyone was discussing the words said by Dai Yusa.

Froleytia and Alina were more concerned about Kai. For different reasons, Froleytia is sure that the phenomenon which occurred just now was related to Kai and according to Dai Yusa words it is related to unlocking seals.

From  a.n.a.lysing both the conditions and reasoning of her. She came to a conclusion thatKai and Dai Yusa are related to each other.

Suddenly she remembered that Kai had told her that his master is about to see everything going through the continent during yesterday's meeting.

"That would mean that Kai is Dai Yusa disciple.A person who is both a magic user and Battle Archmage. Though I don't know what a Battle Archmage is, most probably I can get the answers from Kai later after he returns and about the matter of the seal on the continent"thought Froleytia.

While Alina was looking towards the direction of the ancient battlefield with worried expression and saw the figure of a man carrying someone on his shoulder. Flying towards them with a wooden staff in his hand.

Seeing this Alina eyes brightened up and she felt relieved"Finally they are back"muttered Alina.

On the other hand, Jai slowly reached the ground and stood before the gate of Ebonwick Fortress and walked inside.

The soldiers were still recovering from the events which had occurred some time ago and were moving around the Fortress to make sure everything was fine after the earthquake and were reporting to Commander Darwin about the casualties and losses due to the loss. Hopefully n.o.body died and suffered only some minor injuries but some storage room used for keeping food had collapsed with most of the ruins around the fortress and cracks had appeared on the eastern wall of the fortress.

Darwin nodded and looked at the report carefully and ordered the soldiers to return to his post.

Just as he was about to go to Froleytia to report back. He saw Jai enter the fortress wearing rag and torn clothes with scars on his shoulders, while he was carrying the unconscious body of Kai on his shoulder.

Seeing this Darwin was astonished

"Just where did these guys go? For them to return back in such a state. What kind of monsters these guys fought for mister Jai and Mister Kai to return with such a state"thought Darwin.

As he moves towards Jai to welcome him back with a smile.

"Mister Jai welcome back"shouted Darwin

Hearing that Jai turned round and saw Darwin walking towards him and he stopped.

"Thank you, Commander Darwin. It's good that I am here. Can you please tell me where the soldiers quarters are located?"said Jai as he looked at the unconscious body of Kai.

Darwin immediately understood. What Jai is concerned about and nodded.

"Please, follow me. I will guide you"

After taking some rights and left turn they finally arrived in the soldiers quarters and entered inside. Changed his torned clothes with the spare clothes of a soldier and placed Kai on the bed with a blanket on top of him.

As Jai sat down beside him to wait for Kai to walk up and Darwin took his leave to report to Froleytia.

[Ten minutes later]

Alina entered the room followed by Froleytia, Duke Grawn, Kade, Mefisto, Louie, Joseph, Esabella with entire Chronos Magic Academy students and looked at the pale unconscious body of Kai lying down on the bed with Jai sitting beside in his torned clothes.

They all runned towards the soldiers' quarters as soon as they found out that Jai and Kai had returned.

Alina seeing Kai's condition looked at Kai with a worried expression and looked at Jai.

"Brother Jai what had happened to Master?"

"Nothing much, Kai has used up all his magic power at the same time and due to magic deficiency has become unconscious. He will wake up after sometime"said Jai and looked at others.

"If you guys have any questions. I will answer you guys after Kai wakes up. Please wait for sometime outside or come later"said Jai.

Because, he can already feel the expression on the faces of these guys. That they have already noticed that the phenomenon of manifestation of law was caused by Kai or related to him.

As he looked at Froleytia"Maybe it's because of her story of an alternative future yesterday"muttered Jai.

"No, I want to stay by Master side,"said Alina as she looked at Kai.

"I will wait beside you. Until master wake up"

Jai raised his eyebrows and smiled"You may stay. If you like but don't disturb me"

Hearing that Alina was delighted and stood beside Jai.

Kade also stayed in the room. Saying that he was in incharge of the mission, he would leave until he made sure that Kai is alright.

While others left one after another. They all had different duties to do, which had been a.s.signed to them. 

Last ones to leave were Esabella and Froleytia.

Esabella had a troubled expression and looked like she wanted to say something to Jai. but seeing the situation, she hold herself back and took her leave

Froleytia also glimpsed at Kai before she left to complete her duty.

[After the dinner]

It has been four hours already since Kai had woken up and after eating the dinner is currently standing on top of the walls of Ebonwick Fortress.

Kai is currently looking at the starry night sky. Full of twinkling stars forming a beautiful river of stars with a smile on his face.

After walking up, he had already explained to everyone. Why did he go to the ancient battlefield?After all there is no meaning of hiding it from everyone.

Everyone was shocked and speechless on hearing that the person who sealed the continent was Arbus in his past life and everything that Dai Yusa announced was real.

Specifically somewhere covered in cold sweat after hearing about the things they have gone through inside the ancient battlefield and how they escaped from the Samsara world.

During the entire explanation, he did omit the part of meeting with Death and the manifestation of law was due to his bloodline.

Instead he told them that Dai Yusa gave him the item required to destroy the seal.

Later Louie and Joseph started asking him questions like what is a Battle Archmage? Are you a magic user also?

In reply to that he told them honestly about the things related to Battle Archmage and showed them his dark magic which is the only magic he can use now aside from spirit magic.

Louie and Joseph were little disappointed on hearing about the requirements to become a Battle Archmage.

Just as he was looking at the night sky, he heard the sounds of footsteps and turned around and saw Froleytia was currently walking towards him.

She was currently wearing her casual dress with a purple colour blouse top with a dark blue asymmetrical style long skirt. With her flat shoes matching her figure perfectly.

Froleytia smiled gently at Kai"I never thought. Kai, you will also be here standing alone after dinner"

"I was about to call Jai, but he was taken away by d.u.c.h.ess Esabella. It seems like she wanted to have an important conversation with him"as he looked at Froleytia.

"Anyway, you are looking good in that dress. It's perfectly matches your look"

Hearing that Froleytia blushed a little"Thank you for the compliment"

Nodded as he looked at the stars.

"Kai, are you interested in stargazing?"asked Froleytia with curiosity.

Kai shaked his head"I just wanted to look at the sky today and relax a bit after a busy day" 

Hearing that Froleytia remained silent and looked at the starry night sky.

"Do you know Kai, before the ancient battlefield came into existence? This part of night has the most beautiful starry sky and you can even see the river of stars. Only in this part of the continent"

"Is that so"

"Yes, tomorrow we are leaving the Ebonwick Fortress and returning back to the imperial capital of Chaos Empire, Aliman. I never thought that the mission would come to end in such a way.So I wanted to look at the starry sky. I have heard so much about ''said Froleytia with a smile.

He already has told everyone that the ancient battlefield no longer existed and even the petrol squad has confirmed it. After Jai removed the heroic soul commanding staff. The ancient battlefield has started to collapse probably by tomorrow morning. No trace of its existence will remain.

But looking at her, Kai feels a little trace of sadness in her eyes as she looks at the sky and her long silver hair swings and s.h.i.+nes under the moonlight as the night breeze blows.

Seeing this Kai was mesmerized by her beauty and the next moment his lips were sealed by the soft pink lips of the beauty.
