He had a sister who was 5 years younger than him. To him, she was a little angel.

His parents were out of the city because they had to go visit some relative urgently and Fu Yan could not skip the festival.

His parents had told him that this was an urgent matter and they could not wait for another day.

He was a little sad that they were not coming to see the festival with him but he said with a cheerful smile.

"Mom, Dad don't worry I am a big boy now so I will wait for your return."

His Mom kissed him on his forehead and said goodbye.

"Big Brother! Are you not coming with us?"

His sister said with a cute voice.

"I will wait here for you so you have to come back fast ok!"

"Hmm. I love you Big Brother."

"I love you too now don't trouble mom too much"

He bid farewell to them and went towards the school but what he did not know that this would be then last time he would see them.

When he was coming back to his home, he saw his aunt on the front door of his house.

She was looking anxious and somewhat sad.

When she saw him, she ran towards him and hugged him tightly.

Before he could understand what was happening, she started to cry.

"Aunt Biyu! Why are you here? Why are you crying?"

But she did not reply and just cried.

"Aunt Biyu please stop crying. Are you here to see Mom and Dad?"

When he said that she started to cry even louder and hugged him even tighter.

He was not a dumb little boy so he could understand a little from her reaction.

He became worried but he controlled himself and asked calmly.

"Aunt! Did something happen to Mom and Dad? Where are they? What happened?"

But his Aunt still did not say anything and just cried.

While his aunt was crying, he saw his uncle coming towards them from inside the house.

He looked sad and tears could be seen in his eyes too.

He said with a trembling voice.

"Biyu take Fu inside the house."

His aunt was stopped crying and took Fu Yan inside the house.

Now Fu Yan could not keep himself calm anymore.

No matter how mature he was, he was still a 12 years old child.

He said with a crying voice.

"Where are Mom and Dad? I want to talk to them."

But the response he got from his aunt was just tears.

Now he could not contain it in anymore.

"I want to see Mom, Dad. I want to see Jing. I want to see them."

Jing Yan was the name of his sister.

After saying this he ran towards outside but his uncle held him.

Fu Yan tried to break free, he cried and to let him go but his uncle did not release him.

Fu Yan was now crying his lungs out. He was struggling harder and harder to make his uncle let him go and his uncle was now getting worried Fu Yan might injure himself but he could not let him go outside.

When he about to break free, his aunt embraced him from behind and Said.

"Fu Yan, Big Boys don't cry and you promised your mom that you would be a good boy till they come back. You don't want to break your promise. Do you!"

She said all this while crying.

Fu Yan stopped struggling and just stood motionlessly.

He looked at his aunt and asked.

"Where are Mom and Dad? When are they coming back? Are they ok?"

His aunt wiped her tears and said.

"Fu Yan. Your Mom and Dad were in an accident. Jing was with them. Their car fell in the valley so they have not been found yet."

Fu Yan felt like a bomb has been dropped on his head.

He tried to cry but no tear would come out.

He just stood there in despair. His eyes looked like they have lost life.

His aunt took him with her and he started to live with them but the once cheerful Fu Yan was gone.

He never went outside to play, he just stayed in the home.

In his new school, he stayed in his seat all day looking outside aimlessly, never talked unnecessarily.

After seeing Fu Yan like this, His Aunt Biyu took him to a doctor.

The doctor was a female who had handled many cases like this so upon hearing his story she talked with him and suggested that he should start reading books.

So he did because he did not want to make his aunt sad.

He read one book, then another, after that another and so on.

He developed a love for the books and he came out of his sh.e.l.l a little.

Well that all in past. Fu Yan shook his head and looked at the screen again.

"This must be Qing. How did she send me a message? Did she evolve? Well, I will look into it later but its a good thing that she is intelligent now."

So he replied.

"I am ok. Don't worry. Thank you."

He wrote "don't worry. Thank you" mindlessly but he forgot he was talking to a computer.
