Feng Xinying left after that. He kept looking at her until she disappeared from his sight. He sighed and then sat in his car. He rested his head behind as the driver cruised through the expressways. He had to think of ten steps ahead in order to make things right. He remembered that it was his aunt that had taken custody of him as a child when the police had seized all their a.s.sets. They had become penniless. Their uncle had taken his elder brother because his aunt couldn't maintain the two of them. 

He just didn't know at that time what had happened. All he knew that after that Yingying never came to play with him. He would ask about his parents to his aunt and she could never answer. She was not aware as to what had happened. She was as shocked as everyone else in the family was when all their a.s.sets were seized. Later they had come to know that the person who was behind all this was none other that his father's friend Feng Zhantian. 

Their uncle was also one of the members of the Crocodile gang. However, after the a.s.sets were seized, he decided to stay low. It had been years before he revived the organization with the help of Xie Shengjun, whom he had fed all the information regarding betrayal of Feng Zhantian. 

Xie Shengjun had emerged as a ruthless leader but as Xie Yuansheng grew up, he became even more ruthless. Even though he was staying with his aunt, who was unaware of these activities, he worked with his brother on many incidents without telling her anything. Xie Yuansheng hated Feng Zhantian to the extent that he would wait for each day to kill him. The day came when his aunt declared that she was going to marry Feng Zhantian. He didn't know how the h.e.l.l did his aunt manage to convince Feng Zhantian because after all he was not a fool. 

One day he asked his aunt as to why did she marry him just to gauge if she knew anything about the organization they ran.

It was unrequited love because he loved Feng Xinying's mother a lot. When your mother and her mother died in the accident, I had made it clear to him that I loved him. Well, he never came back until one day, we met in his office in the suburbs years later. I wanted to take care of Feng Xinying also and the day I got the chance, she left the house…" 

She sounded as if she didn't know anything about the organization… 

When Xie Weihui married Feng Zhantian, Xie Yuansheng realized that he was in the lion's den. All his movements were closely monitored. He was looking for an opportunity to kill him, but things weren't working out. His uncle had prohibited his older brother, Xie Shengjun to meet Xie Yuansheng.

There was a silence for some time and then Feng Zhantian replied, "I know… but it wasn't his fault… his father's organization has been completely uprooted. I don't want to punish him for what his father did to me because G.o.d has already punished him. In that accident even his mother died… I don't want to carry this any further. I am tired and just want to concentrate on my business. I want this business to flourish until my child comes back…" He sounded emotional and very tired. He longed for his child. For the first time, Xie Yuangshen realized how much he loved his daughter. 

His child, his lovely daughter whom he loved madly. For the first time Xie Yuansheng was shook. It was his father who betrayed Feng Zhantian and not vice versa. He didn't believe it.

In the meantime, his uncle was preparing to wage a war against Feng Zhantian with the help of the two brothers.  

Before any of that happened Xie Yuansheng dug out history behind it to find the truth. When he found out, he was shocked. All the hatred he had nurtured for Feng Zhantian evaporated. He found that it was his father who betrayed Feng Zhantian in exchange for twenty percent shares from someone very close to him. He hadn't been able to find who was that person who lured his father into this heinous crime. Those twenty percent shares belonged to his wife and the daughter was the nominee. 

Xie Yuansheng's head hung in shame that day. He sabotaged his uncle's plan with the help of his brother whom he told the entire truth. 

From being a son of the person who betrayed Feng Zhantian to being a boy whom Feng Zhantian trusted with his business empire was a long journey. But he proved himself and vowed to absolve his father's sins by always being loyal to Feng Zhantian. And the most important part was that he never let Feng Zhantian know that he was indeed The Crocodile. 

Everything was going fine, until Feng Xinying came to know about the organization her father had formed. Xie Yuansheng was sure that Feng Zhantian had stopped it completely but he was in for a shock when Feng Xinying told him about it being dormant for so long. It was sleeping and waiting for its Master to return. It was like a sleeping dragon that was beginning to come out of slumber slowly.
