"Sure, give me fifteen minutes and I'll be back with you. Also can you ask Lu Boyun to make me mushroom soup? I am dying to eat something normal after that strict hostel diet."

"Of course," he smiled and left the room. 

When Feng Xinyng came back, she found that Xie Yuansheng hadn't come back. She found that strange and wondered what took him so long. She thought that perhaps he had gone to his study room. So after changing into white shorts and a pink top, she went to the study room but he wasn't there too. Suddenly she heard a lot of commotion in the kitchen. She ran fearing that Xie Yuansheng had again started cooking. She took two steps at a time to prevent Xie Yuansheng from cooking his concoctions. However when she reached there, it was too late.  

Xie Yuansheng was already cooking something as all the chefs in the kitchen were only looking at their young master with utter disbelief. It was only Lu Boyun who was encouraging Xie Yuansheng. 

"Master, you must add coriander leaves too," he said as he handed chopped coriander leaves to him. 

"Master, add some lemon juice."

Xie Yuansheng was adding everything that he handed, and then stirred the concoction. Feng Xinying was cursing herself to even ask her man to prepare food. She sat on a chair by the counter in the center of the kitchen with her face being supported by her hands. Even she mirrored the looks of the chefs over there. 

Xie Yuansheng simmered the gas stove and turned around. He found Feng Xinying looking at him intensely. "Yingying, see I am making the soup for you! You have come after fifteen days and I thought that this was the best I could do to welcome you," he said with a smile. 

Feng Xinying wanted to cry. 

Xie Yuansheng was in high spirits. He looked at the chefs and said, "All of you - it is your holiday today. Only Lu Boyun will be staying here."  

The chefs left as soon as they could. Who would want to hear the couple fighting if the mushroom soup turned out to be poisonous? 

The soup was cooked within the next fifteen minutes and it was already 7PM. 

Xie Yuansheng served hot soup to Feng Xinying and Lu Boyun gave him a kind smile. Lu Boyun was so happy that the young master was being so nice to his little miss. 

Xie Yuansheng sat opposite Feng Xinying and served soup in her bowl. "Here try it. I promise this is going to be really good and not like the last time."  

Feng Xinying was crying internally. She closed her eyes to brace herself for the impact. She inhaled deeply and said, "I can do it!" She opened her eyes and saw the soup spoon right in front of her mouth. Xie Yuansheng was smiling behind it. 

Feng Xinying opened her mouth slightly and Xie Yuansheng took the opportunity to pour the entire spoon in her mouth. Feng Xinying's eyes became wide in antic.i.p.ation. 

But the soup was so tasty that she was stunned. "Xie Yuansheng, this is the best mushroom soup I have ever had in my life! What have you done?" she shrieked in happiness and s.n.a.t.c.hed the spoon from him to have it on her own. 

Xie Yuansheng laughed at her. "I had learnt how to cook when you weren't here. I just wanted to make up for my last time pathetic cooking," he said with a smile. 

Feng Xinying looked at her husband. There were ingredients stuck around her mouth. 

"Hubby!" she shouted and got up from her place to hug him tightly. In the process her mouth got wiped on his s.h.i.+rt.  

Xie Yuansheng laughed again. He didn't know what to gift her when she came back this time, so he thought of learning how to cook. He was also bothered that between the two of them none knew how to cook. What would happen if they would take their kids on a vacation where they won't be able to order anything and have to cook on their own? He shuddered to think that and had taken lessons from Lu Boyun to prepare something fast for his unborn kids. 

Lu Boyun left the young couple and went out. 

"Do you want more?" asked Xie Yuansheng. 

Feng Xinying nodded with a smile as she sat in his lap to have more. While having her soup, Feng Xinying told him about all that happened in the martial arts inst.i.tute other than her orders to Su Lang. Xie Yuansheng listened to her with interest.    

While they were talking, Zhou Ah Ming called. Feng Xinying picked the phone and put it on speaker.  

"Good evening Miss Xinying."

"Good evening Ah Ming," she replied. "Don't tell me I have to start from tomorrow. I want to rest for a day." She wanted to spend her entire day with Xie Yuansheng. 

"The filming is starting tomorrow," he said with a chuckle. 

Feng Xinying's lips curved downwards. With a sigh, she said, "Okay…"

"I shall come to pick you up tomorrow morning at 7AM. We have to go to the agency also. There is something very important you need to look at."
