When Feng Xinying heard the plan, she was excited. "Okay, I agree with your plan uncle Su Haobing but be careful. I don't want you or Su Lang to get into any trouble."

"Yes young miss, we will be careful," replied Su Haobing and disconnected the call. 

When Xie Yuansheng came up with the dish in his hand, he saw her giving finis.h.i.+ng touches to her makeup. He never used to like her doing makeup in his previous life. However, in this life, he had ignored it completely. Being a model, he understood that doing makeup was just something that rea.s.sured her. But he chuckled and commented, "My wife looks beautiful without makeup also." He kept the braised Sea Cuc.u.mbers on the table in front of her as he watched her applying a lavender lipstick. 

She smiled back at him and said, "Xie Yuansheng, if I will go without this slightest touch, there are many women in that society who are going to say that my husband is unable to afford his wife. I apply makeup only so that you don't get to hear nonsense." 

Xie Yuansheng nodded and said, "Ah! Thank you so much for thinking about my reputation." 

"You are most welcome. After all I am an ideal wife." 

"Sure darling. Now have your food and don't starve my baby," he said and made her eat a bite. It was so tasty that Feng Xinying ate the entire dish in not even ten minutes as Xie Yuansheng kept looking at his 'would-be' baby cow with wide eyes. 

Feng Xinying had a gla.s.s of water, complimented her husband's cooking skills and urged him to change into something formal for the party. 

Feng Xinying and Xie Yuansheng had hosted a grand party to announce their marriage. The venue of the party was Hotel Red Dragon, which was adorned with thousands of lights that day. It looked so beautiful as though all the stars of the sky had gathered on the earth. 

Important people from across the countries, all the a.s.sociates of the Feng Conglomerate along with politicians, actors and actresses were called for the party. Each and every board member was present over there. They all knew the purpose of the party, however none of them had the courage to spill it. They waited and wanted the power couple to announce it themselves. 

Lim Chuen was also there along with his family members. He had brought Chang Ling and Lim De Zhi. Lim Fei Yen had also come and she was standing with her mother and Chang Ling. She looked at Feng Xinying and gritted her teeth. She told Chang Ling what all had Feng Xinying done to her to get Xie Yuansheng. "She had stooped so low to grab a catch like Xie Yuansheng, you cannot even imagine. She is just a lowly model who has made it big in the industry only because of Xie Yuansheng." 

Chang Ling shook her head and disgust. "You were a perfect match for Xie Yuansheng." 

Lim Fei Yen's face became sadder. 

Feng Xinying and Xie Yuansheng walked in the venue hall much earlier than the guests. Cai Xin and other managerial staff were already present over there. They had called the media also as they wanted the country to know about the wedding. As soon as they walked in, the media people started clicking the photographs. While most of the media people were made to wait outside, only a few important ones were allowed to enter the hall. 

By 9PM most of the guests had arrived and the party was in full swing. Everyone was enjoying his or her snacks and c.o.c.ktails when Feng Xinying held Xie Yuansheng's hand and started to walk towards the stage. It was time to announce now. 

She took the mic from the emcee who was entertaining the guests with his contemporary political satire. The two of them stood their and one could see how excited they were. 

"Good evening ladies and gentle," said Feng Xinying in a soft voice. "I hope you all are enjoying the party." She looked at the guests who were smiling and listening to her now. "You all must be wondering as to why have we called so many people from across the various continents. We thought that it was time to announce something very important to all of you now." She gave the mic to Xie Yuansheng and asked to speak further. 

Xie Yuansheng 's first sentence was, "You all already know that I love Feng Xinying."

The audience burst into laughter. "Yes we know!" there were several responses. 

"The important announcement is that the two of us have married," he said and raised Feng Xinying and his left hand for everyone to see the wedding rings. 

There were gasps from the gathering. Everyone was shocked to hear this news. All the young girls who were looking and fluttering their eyes at him were heartbroken. Somewhere, Wu Bosun gulped the entire gla.s.s of wine in his hand. He left the venue immediately. 

Lim Fei Yen and Chang Ling became so shocked that they were fixed to the ground. The most eligible bachelor of the country was taken just like that. 

The awkward silence made Feng Xinying a little nervous. Xie Yuansheng held her hand and squeezed it tightly. 

Suddenly there were a few congratulatory messages from the audience. Soon everyone started congratulating the couple and within a few seconds the entire hall was filled with loud clapping sound. 

When Lim Chuen heard about it, he was stunned. How come he didn't even get the slightest information about this big news? He went to talk to one of the board members to protest about the fact that such information was kept a secret from the board members also. But he was informed that all the board members already knew the news on the day when Xie Weihui was arrested on charges of fraud and insider info.

"Than why wasn't I given the information?" he asked agitatedly. 

Another board member came and said, "You were not present that day and we had all signed a legal doc.u.ment to not leak this information." 

Lim Chuen closed his fists tightly and looked at Chang Ling. He left them and went to her. "Let's do this today."
