Chang Ling was now feeling winded. She didn't know what was the basis on which those board members were being removed. Even if she wanted to read those papers that Feng Xinying's lawyer had put in front of her, she couldn't comprehend the reason as to why were those removed. "You cannot remove anyone from board!" Shouted Chang Ling. 

"Who said, I can't?" Replied Feng Xinying very calmly. "If the board members are not taking case of their fiduciary duties and are rather interested in gnawing the company from inside, it is better that they are removed." 

"What do mean Feng Xinying?" Said Chang Ling loudly.

"I mean what I say." Feng Xinying then looked at her secretary and nodded. She was holding a small recorder in her hand which she started playing on her cue. The conversation could be heard between Chang Ling and those five members about getting five percent shares in return of voting in favor of Chang Ling. 

As soon as the conversation, the five members became anxious. Their face looked white like ghosts. It was just unbelievable. How did Feng Xinying procure that conversation. It was supposed to be a secret meeting. 

Actually two days back, when Xie Yuansheng was s.h.i.+fted to the VIP room, Cai Xin had come to meet Feng Xinying. There she apprised Feng Xinying of all that Chang Ling was up to. Feng Xinying had asked her people to spy Chang Ling twenty four hours. So when she was having that lunch meeting with the five members, she did not know that she was being watched and that their conversation was getting recorded. 

Not only that, Feng Xinying even spied the two board members who were honey trapped by Chang Ling. However, Feng Xinying did not speak a word about them and feigned ignorance about them. It was because once those five members were removed, she knew they would be scared. Also what was the point of removing those members? They were voting in favor of Chang Ling. Feng Xinying knew that they would keep quiet for all the time and not speak a word about it just because they were afraid that their deeds might come to surface. Chang Ling was in such a mess that even she knew that those two board members were going to stay quiet. Basically Feng Xinying dealt with them very cleverly. She knew that those two members could be used always in her favor. She had already procured the video recordings from Chang Ling's possession.

The two members who wanted positions for their relatives in the company, were left. Feng Xinying had already asked the managers who were their bosses to see how those relatives were performing. If they performed well, she had instructed that they continue, but if they performed badly, she had given the mangers liberty to kick those relatives out. 

In the boardroom meeting, Feng Xinying looked at those five members after the recorded conversation finished shed and said, "Since you five had asked for five percent shares in Liu of voting for Chang Ling as CEO of the company, it falls under the act of bribery. You will be terminated from the company. Also, you will be charged with a case of fraud." Feng Xinying looked at her lawyer again and he presented those five board members with legal doc.u.ments which said that their relations.h.i.+p will be immediately terminated from the company and the company was taking legal action against them. 

One of them became very angry and said, "This is ridiculous. We have a right to be heard and we can have seven days to prepare for our case."

Feng Xinying rested back on her chair and said Ina very cold voice, "Yes, you did have seven days, but you chose to be bribed. So this now becomes a legal case. As a company, we don't want to do anything with people who are embroiled in cases of hostile takeovers of CEO's position. So you all are gone!" 

"You can't do this!" Shouted the members.

Feng Xinying looked at her lawyer and asked him to get security standing outside. Once the security men were in, she said, "Escort these men out of the building." Then she looked at Cai Xin and said, "Type an email NOW to all the employees that these five have been removed because of the fraud they wanted to commit."

The security from outside came in and escorted those five out of the room. 

Feng Xinying then turned to Chang Ling. "My husband brought you back even after you had committed that crime in swimwear project. Yet you chose to eat his position only. You will be punished severely. Hereby I am terminating your services from Feng Conglomerate as the Chairman. And additionally I will be blacklisting you so that you will never find a job anywhere. This will be the end of your career."

"Feng Xinying, are you a fool! Can't you see that Xie Yuansheng can no longer work? He has slipped into coma!" Shouted Chang Ling. "And on what basis do you think you can be theCEO of the company. Stay as its Chairman and don't interfere like a foolish person in the matters of the company." 

"I am sorry but who are you to say all this?" Asked Feng Xinying. She turned to look at the securit. They started walking towards Chang Ling. "Get Out!" Said Feng Xinying with a scorn on her face. How dare she messed with her husband? 

"Feng Xinying, you b.i.t.c.h! You have no right to ruin me!" Shouted Chang Ling, as she kicked the security people. Her dream got shattered into a thousand pieces and she could feel the sharpness of each piece in her heart. How could things become so different from what she had dreamed? How could it become so different from what it was in the morning? Her world was completely ruined. She was thrown out of the company in front of too many employees.
