Feng Xinying drove through the city at 1AM in the night. The streets were deserted and she raced her car to the location of the bar. While driving, she noticed that a jeep was following her. Even though she was driving very fast at 120 km/hr, the jeep was also maintaining the same speed. Through the rear view mirror she saw that the jeep was now closing in on her. Just to be on a safe side, Feng Xinying slowed her speed and turned the car to a little left in order to allow the jeep to overtake. However, the jeep still followed her as it also turned to the left.

Feeling strange, Feng Xinying's hand reached her purse from where she pulled out the gun that Xie Shengjun had given to Keira and Keira had given to her. She hadn't returned the gun only because it thrilled her to have it with her. Even though Xie Shengjun had reminded her two times earlier to return it to him, she had only delayed it.

Feng Xinying increased her car speed and saw the jeep also increased the car speed. The location of the bar shown on the maps was another twenty minutes away. All of a sudden Feng Xinying noticed that the Jeep came parallel two her car and a window rolled down. She saw a man with mask. He took his arm out of the window and signaled her to stop. When she did not stop, he took out a gun and pointed towards her.

He shouted, "Stop, or I will kill you!"

Scared, Feng Xinying increased the speed of her car to overtake the jeep. Although she did overtake it, she heard a loud gunshot. That man had fired. Panic stricken, Feng Xinying's hand reached for her gun. All of a sudden she heard another gunshot. The Jeep had come close to her. On an impulse, Feng Xinying opened the car window and before that man could react, Feng Xinying fired a shot at the car. The jeep stopped as Feng Xinying raced ahead with high speed.

She couldn't understand what had happened the man in the Jeep. All she wanted now was to go the bar and be with Xie Yuansheng. She had become very scared as to what had happened. In the rear view mirror, she saw that the Jeep had stopped following her. Her hands were sweaty. She had never ever fired a gun before. She was dying to know what had happened to the jeep that was following her but at the same time she was relieved that they stopped following her. She was worried if anyone was injured or whether this would become a runway case. So many things came to her mind that she was almost on the verge of crying.

However, she collected herself. Whatever she did, it was out of self-protection. She reached the bar in another five minutes. She was so nervous that's she did not even park the car in the parking area and jumped out of it to go to the bar.

There she saw that there were some men still drinking and when she walked they looked at her oddly. Feng Xinying looked at the bar counter and the bartender immediately recognized her. He smiled at her and said, "Ma'am, this way."

She followed him to a private room inside where Xie Yuansheng was lying on a sofa with his hand on his forehead. The bartender left the couple and went to close the counter.

Feng Xinying went near him and stroked his hair. Xie Yuansheng removed his hand from the forehead and opened his eyes. He was so drunk that he couldn't open his eyes completely. When he saw her, he said, "Don't touch me. I have a wife." He couldn't recognize the woman in front of him, as his vision was blurry.

All the nervousness that Feng Xinying was experiencing until now, got melted in a second as a warm feeling spread over her heart.

"Xie Yuansheng, let's go home," she said with a smile. She went and kneeled on the floor beside him. "Get up Yuansheng, this is me Feng Xinying."

Xie Yuansheng again tried to open his eyes and raised his head a bit in order to focus on the woman in front of her. Then he shook his head and said, "No, no! Yingying doesn't come to me. You are an imposter."

Feng Xinying held his hand and squeezed it softly. "Xie Yuansheng, I am Yingying." She took his hand on her face and said softly, "Do you remember how Yingying looks like?"

Xie Yuansheng felt her face in his hands and then got up a little more. "Yingying, this is you! I am sorry Yingying I didn't recognize you. You are not mad, are you? I can give you my heart and show you."

Feng Xinying smiled at him. She stroked his hair and said, "I am not mad. Come, let's go home."

"Okay Yini," he said and tried to get up but failed.

"If he won't be able to get up from here, how would I take him back home," she thought and called Xie Shengjun.

When Xie Shengjun picked up the phone, she narrated her incident to him. Keira was sleeping on him when Feng Xinying called. Gently he placed her beside him, picked the phone and went to the separate room so as not to disturb her.

He was shocked when he heard about the whole incident and scolded Feng Xinying for taking her safety so casually. Within the next ten minutes, everything was arranged. Five of his men had come to the bar and a car was sent along with the driver to drop them back home. Xie Shengjun decided to meet his brother the very next day for behaving unusually because as far as he knew, Xie Yuansheng was never into drinking so heavily.

The men helped Xie Yuansheng to get in the car and Feng Xinying sat with him. As the car sped through the deserted streets, the security people also followed them.

Xie Yuansheng had rested his face on Feng Xinying's shoulder. But he was so drunk that he soon fell in her lap. Feng Xinying made him sleep on her lap and helped him to put his feet on the seat. He hid his face in her stomach.

He would reach his hand to her face to feel her and ask her occasionally, "Yini, that is you?" Feng Xinying would stroke his hair, smile and say, "I am not Yini, I am Feng Xinying." Xie Yuansheng would smile back. His Yini was with him.

Suddenly Feng Xinying felt a soft pain in her stomach. "Ouch!" she cried. She looked down to see that Xie Yuansheng had lifted her s.h.i.+rt and bitten her stomach.
