Xie Yuansheng didn't object to her tugging his s.h.i.+rt but he wasn't ready to talk to her. His insides were boiling because she had come to meet Luciano but since she had come to tell him that she didn't want to see him ever again, Xie Yuansheng couldn't say a word. Moreover, the fact that he had punched Luciano hard on his face was extremely satisfying. He ignored Feng Xinyin and took out his phone to remotely play the song again in Luciano's house. That day, even when the servants had switched off the power of the music system, it would play on other devices. In the end, Luciano was singing that song even when he was sleeping.

When they reached the house, Xie Yuansheng went inside the house in a hurry while Feng Xinying ran after him. When they reached his bedroom, he shut the door as soon as she was inside.

He went to his study table and switched on his laptop to work but he wasn't able to concentrate. Feng Xinying kept staring at him all the time.

"I went there to permanently sever my ties with Luciano," she said with a crying expression. "You don't have to be so mad at me."

No answer. He stared at her with a very hurt expression in his eyes, which made her heart tighten.

"You shouldn't have called Keira. Don't you trust me?" she tried to provoke him. However, her provocation backfired when Xie Yuansheng got up from there, collected his coat and went out of the room.

"Where are you going?" asked Feng Xinyin, pacing up to him.

He didn't answer and went to the garage. All the drivers stood up to greet him.

"Take me to the office," he said and sat down in the Maybach. Feng Xinying also sat down with him. He stared at her with that hurt expression and then looked away.

When they reached the office, Feng Xinying was once again running after him to catch up. Once they reached the elevator, Feng Xinying asked him, "Why are you angry with me?" She went near him and this time curled her arm around his hand. She looked up at his stoic face with an innocent expression and cute eyes.

As soon as the elevator opened, he went out, leaving her inside. "Xie Yuansheng, stop!" she shouted and followed him to the office.

A girl was there in the office doing some pending job. When she saw them, she was utterly surprised that the head secretary was calling the CEO and by his first name at that. She became angry and called Feng Xinying. "Don't you know how to talk to the CEO? How can you shout in such an uncivilized manner? Apologize to him now!"

Feng Xinying stopped in her tracks and retorted, "Who are you to say anything? I will do whatever I want to. Go, do your job and don't meddle in my affairs!"

Even though Xie Yuansheng was extremely furious, he faintly smiled at her boldness. Feng Xinying rushed after him and closed the office door, much to that girl's shock. Some news was about to get viral!

Feng Xinying just didn't want him to misunderstand anything. She had to talk to him, hear his heart out. When Xie Yuansheng went to sit on his office chair, he switched on his computer and started browsing the files.

Feng Xinying reached him. "Xie Yuansheng, Yuansheng!" She poked his shoulder.

His face contorted in anger as he looked at her. She became scared and retracted her hand. He turned to look at his computer. There was a moment of silence before she said again, "Xie Yuansheng, why aren't you talking to me? I didn't do anything untoward," she said, almost on the verge of crying.

"I wanted Luciano to know that I won't be with him," she repeated as the tears welled up in her eyes. Xie Yuansheng was such a mean man that he was making her cry over an issue which was actually in his favor. Not able to concentrate on his computer anymore, he kept clicking random files. Feng Xinying went and held his hand. "Xie Yuansheng, stop being annoying. Now you are hurting me. It's not that I am cheating on you."

As she pulled him, instead of dragging him out of his chair, she felt a slight tug towards him and she fell in his lap. She was wearing a very tight skirt up to her knees and a red chiffon top with it. Hence, when she fell on him, her legs were on one side and her skirt came a little up to her thighs. Her body fell on the opposite side, which now rested in his arms. His face was close to hers as a tear rolled out of her eyes. Xie Yuansheng kissed that tear away and stared at her.

Feng Xinying was stunned at his sudden change of emotions and she tried to push him away and stand up as her face was turning pink, but he pinned her in his lap. It wasn't easy to move out of his arms.
