Xie Shengjun looked at his brother as Xie Yuansheng stood there with a cold demeanor in front of the man he had shot at point blank range. Xie Yuansheng appeared as though it was nothing great that he just did. Even though it was Xie Shengjun who was the underworld mafia, between the two brothers he knew that Xie Yuansheng was more aggressive and dangerous. He was often scared of his younger brother. The blaze that he had in his eyes was something he was afraid of. It wasn't the first time Xie Yuansheng had killed anyone. However, when he killed someone, there was never a sliver of regret in him. He committed the murder without any distress.

Xie Yuansheng gave the gun back to Xie Shengjun, dusted his hands and went out of the house leaving the job of disposing the man's body to his brother's people. By killing that man, he had sent a message to the man behind it that no one can come between him and his wife. On his way back, he threw Feng Xinying's phone under his car and smashed it to pieces. He took out the sim card and kept it in his s.h.i.+rt pocket.

He reached home by evening and straightaway went to Feng Xinying's room. He saw that she was sleeping, so he didn't disturb her and went to his room. He took bath and changed. He looked again in her room only to find that she wasn't there. He started going downstairs to find her but heard loud voices as though someone was shouting. He realized that it was Feng Xinying shouting in the kitchen on the servants.

"All of you don't even know how to make lemongra.s.s peanut prawn! Clear the area, I will make it today," she shouted at them.

Hearing her speaking so loudly, Xie Yuansheng cringed. Rather than going downstairs, he turned to the study and quietly went inside. Facing an agitated Feng Xinying was something he was never prepared for.

Feng Xinying had created a mess in the kitchen. The vegetable, utensils, spices, sauces - every item that she touched was also strewn across the floor. Lu Boyun was the one who was chiding her but his scolding fell on deaf ears. Finally an hour later when the dish was prepared, Feng Xinying arranged it in a plate and took it upstairs to Xie Yuansheng's room.

When she woke up, she had gone to his room and was happy when she heard him taking bath. She was researching on how to attract man and one of the things that she read online was that way through a man's heart was through his stomach. That was the reason why she had gone to prepare that dish in the kitchen. She had written notes on how to make it and had watched the videos for half an hour. She was confident that she would be able to prepare it easily. Her confidence level was high despite the fact that she had hardly prepared Chinese dishes in her life. In America when she was a model, she usually had takeout food or Keira would help her out.

Xie Yuansheng wasn't in his room, so she went to the study to check where he usually spent his time. She gave a huge smile to him and shyly went to his table. Softly she said, "Xie Yuansheng, I have made this prawn dish."

Xie Yuansheng grinned at his wife. How adorable she looked! She was wearing an ap.r.o.n and all the spices were sprinkled on it. There was a streak of soya sauce that smeared her left cheek. Some lemongra.s.s was stuck in her hair. He called her patting his lap, "Come here darling."

Feng Xinying bit her lower lip, as her ears became red but she was dying to sit back in his lap. So she went there and sat.

"Make me eat it with your hands," he demanded cutely.

Feng Xinying took the fork, dug it into a prawn and took near his mouth. He opened it and ate it immediately but his eyes became wide and his face became red as soon as the prawn was in his mouth. There was so much salt and chilly that he wanted to spit it out but how could he do it? He had called her to sit in his lap and feed him with so much love.

Feng Xinying smiled while looking at the dish that she had prepared so painstakingly and asked softly, "How is it Yuansheng?"

Xie Yuansheng couldn't even move his neck in approval. It hurt that badly. Somehow he gulped the prawn and had some water that was kept on the table.

Meekly, he answered, "Yingying, it is good…" his voice was barely audible.

Feng Xinying was so proud of herself that excitedly she dug the fork in another prawn and offered him to eat it. Xie Yuansheng's heart started beating fast as he looked at all the prawns he had to consume.
