And when they didn't get the diamond on me….." He trailed off his thoughts turning the atmosphere cold and unbearable.

Feng Junjie and w.a.n.g s.h.i.+'s eyes widened in shock, and they shared a look at each other. Even a layman could tell what might have happened next. That man must have gone to the resort looking for the diamond. Unluckily, it was with Xiu Mei, and she got pulled in this chaos because of that diamond with her.

"And probably this was the reason why we were unable to procure any conclusive CCTV footages of the accident spot and the Rosewood Resort," Feng Junjie stated, "Brother this enemy is no ordinary killer. Before executing his plans, he made sure to erase all the traces of his existence"

"But I still didn't get why Xiu Mei is resentful towards you? What is it that we still don't know? Or is there a missing link, which is only known to her?" w.a.n.g s.h.i.+ held her head thinking about so many answered questions.

Feng Jianyu pinched the s.p.a.ce between his brows, "Don't worry w.a.n.g s.h.i.+, soon we'll get all the answers. But for now, my only priority is Mei. That was a big mistake on my part when I left her unprotected in that resort. This time I won't let history repeat itself. Someone dare touch a single strand of her hair and I'll rip him apart," He hissed with finality.

Now that Feng Jianyu is aware that his new enemy had attacked Xiu Mei before, he can't bear to let her suffer once more because of him. He cares for his life but he gives more importance to the life of people he loves most, and Xiu Mei is on the number one spot.

Feng Jianyu doesn't know how Xiu Mei was attacked that night, but if this news leaks out to his enemy that she survived somehow, there are hundred percent chances he will come back for her to take revenge against him.

This was the point that angered him most. He was furious that instead of coming for him directly, Xiu Mei can become the target of his enemy in order to hurt him. And he could only fume in anger as this enemy was lurking in dark while he was in the light. Until he finds out about the real ident.i.ty of this enemy no one around him safe.

"Junjie, activate our dragon sleepers and a.s.signed them the task to protect Feng and w.a.n.g family members. Reject all the outside contracts of Feng Security Ltd. and tell them their only task is to protect Feng properties and company for an indefinite period."

Be it any price, just buy them out. I don't want any loopholes in security."

"No problem brother, it will be done." Feng Junjie asked feeling perturbed, "ummm…. But brother, you didn't mention anything about Sister Mei Mei's security."

"I'm appointing DRAGON-SAT in her security, along with my personal elite bodyguards." Feng Jianyu answered indifferently.

Hearing this Both Feng Junjie and w.a.n.g s.h.i.+ gasped in shock. "Don't tell me, you are reserving Feng Communications biggest satellite to protect her? I hope you are aware of the consequences? Feng Communication's revenue will be affected; this will be a huge blow to the company's balance sheet" w.a.n.g s.h.i.+ accessed the severity of the action.

Feng Jianyu looked straight into w.a.n.g s.h.i.+'s eyes acutely "Uh huh, wrong! This money holds zero value in front of my Mei's life. What's the use of these tremendous resources when it can't be put to use to protect the life of the person you loves more than your life? Feng Jianyu tossed and turned on the bed but couldn't find the right position to sleep. He lay still on his back under the warm blanket, gazing up at the ceiling blankly. The world outside was teasing him with its silence; everyone and everything sleeps, save the owls, night guards and lovers. His mind was recapitulating the worries of the day, the worries of tomorrow, and the worries of coming future.

Another hour pa.s.sed, and he just couldn't get to sleep. His eyes were wide open as he kept on staring at the ceiling. He tried to take a few deep breaths, but many just caught in his throat, like an icy wind had managed to freeze the air solid.
