It was giving her a sense of security, warmth, and love. His hands were calloused but his touch was gentle and warm, that was slowly melting her cold heart through his warmth.

There was an eerie silence in the corridor and she looked at him sharply, "Feng Jianyu, if you were so afraid to come back to your room alone, you could have asked for my help directly. Five minutes later, Feng Jianyu came back holding a big wooden box. "Thanks for not running away" he placed a gentle hand on her cheek.

Xiu Mei's heart skipped the beat the moment her eyesight fell on the wooden box. It didn't take her a single extra second to recognize it.

Suddenly she felt herself being forced to relive her past memories, unknowingly her body stiffened as if bracing the soldier to face the battlefield.
