"No Please, don't do this. Junjie is coming to get you" w.a.n.g s.h.i.+ replied anxiously before pus.h.i.+ng Feng Junjie to get her. It didn't take Feng Junjie more than ten minutes to get Xiu Mei to the top floor of the building. But those ten minutes were forever for Xiu Mei. As she saw the continuous rising numbers on the LED screen of the elevator, her stomach clenched more and more with a strange feeling.

This feeling was indescribable; it didn't make her feel nauseous but nervous, yes. It was like b.u.t.terflies were tickling her from inside, making her feel uncomfortable. She doesn't know how she is standing on her trembling feet at the moment. She doesn't know what she is going to say to Feng Jianyu the moment they'll see each other. She could feel her body sweating from the strange feeling.

When they reached the top floor, w.a.n.g s.h.i.+ was already waiting for her outside the elevator. He strides towards her and watched her carefully from top to bottom.

"Mei, what's wrong with you? You look like as if you've just fought a battle!" w.a.n.g s.h.i.+ was shocked by her messy look.

And yes, I did fight a battle a while ago" she started walking aimlessly around the floor looking for Feng Jianyu's office mumbling to the two men following her, "I fought a battle with myself. And I turned out to be the looser, at least according to me. Now it all depends on Feng Jianyu whether he turns my loss into victory or not"

She turned to the two-man, "Tell me if I'm right!"

Taking a deep breath Xiu Mei knocked before she pushed the door open and walked in with heavy steps. Feng Jianyu was sitting behind the large Oakwood desk that dominated the huge office.

He was literally buried inside the huge pile of files kept on his table.

His swivel chair was slightly turned to the right side as he was currently reading the doc.u.ment holding it with his left hand and simultaneously rotating a pen in between his fingers. He didn't bother to pay attention to the one who has entered inside his cabin.

She walked to him biting her lips, her footsteps m.u.f.fled by the thick carpet.

"Your tea, sir" Xiu Mie put the cup on the table gently and slides it towards him.
