"Tell me everything you know… and also how do you know that I was after Infinity Software." Xiu Mei's voice sounded dull and exhausted. She didn't lift up her face for once from Feng Jianyu's embrace.

He pulled her chin up, "Hm! I will, but first freshen up, eat something and gain some energy. I'm afraid this is going to be a lengthy chat. Right chipmunk?" He tried to put some light humor in the serious atmosphere and pulled her rosy cheeks.

"Hm! But clothes? I don't….."

"What do you think Rong Xiong brought in those bags?" Feng Jianyu interrupted, immediately took her back to his office and gave her few paper bags. She was surprised to see the name of the brand on the paper bags. It was from a luxury British brand 'WOC' that is famous for its cotton clothing.

'How does he knows that I prefer cotton clothes? I never told him!... Does he pay such deep attention to my preferences?' she contemplated in her mind.

"What happens? You don't like this brand?" He asked, noticing her gaze on the brand name. "I specifically messaged Rong Xiang to get clothes from this brand as you always prefer comfy cotton clothes. But it's ok if you don't like it, I'll order him to get something else for you" He was about to dial his a.s.sistant's number when she holds his arm.

"No… I like it. But it's just that….." She hesitated.

"Ya… tell me."

"Girl…. I… Girl…. Clothes…" Along with these normal clothes a woman needs some additional clothes too. She felt shy asking for bra and panty, as her cheeks turned crimson red. "I need 'those' clothes too"

He raised his brows in question and explained her about the contents of the bags, "Those? Er… there are five sets of clothes in these bags, you can wear whatever you want. If you want more clothes…."

"No no no…. I mean 'Those' clothes"

Looking at her shy face he understood what she was referring to. Knowing her nature she only feels shy when it comes to things like this. Otherwise, she is ever ready to pounce on him with her infinite arguments. "Mei, can you be more specific, please. I'm sure there must be a name for 'those'" He teased her.

"Feng Jianyu…. I'm a woman" Xiu Mei stomped on her foot and he questioned her seriously, "Oh! Were you doubtful before?"

"Duh, Nothing… Leave it" She threw the bags on the floor angrily. "Call for breakfast. I will bath after reaching Villa. And you better hurry up before I murder someone around" she looked at him with big doe-eyes as if someone has bullied her.

He picked up all the bags from the floor and checked the contents roughly. Finally, he found 'Those' items in one of a bag, peeking inside the bag he asked. "Mei, is by any chance are 'Those' clothes in this bag?"

Xiu Mei s.n.a.t.c.hed the bag from his hand and checked it. Indeed there was more than 6 pair of undergarments in different sizes…

"Before you ask or blush anymore, these are purchased by Rong Xiang's wife and not by my a.s.sistant himself."

Xiu Mei "…."

"Hehehe…." Giving a cheeky smile she ran inside the bathroom holding all the bags in her hand. She heard Feng Jianyu's loud laughter behind her making her feel embarra.s.sed.

When Xiu Mei came out of the bathroom Jianyu was sitting on the couch reading a file carefully. She didn't pay much attention to him and sat down in front of the mirror to dry her wet hair. "In which drawer is the hair-dryer?"

"Hair dryer is in my office. I'll get it for you"

He returns back with the dryer but instead of giving it to her he plugged it in the socket and started doing it himself, "I'll do this. You just sit and relax" he gave her a smile looking at her reflection in the mirror.

She nodded in response. Throughout the time when Feng Jianyu was drying her hair, she was lost somewhere in another world. He asked gently, "What happen, Mei? Where are you lost so deeply?"

A deep sigh escaped from her mouth, "Can we talk about Infinity Software, please? I can't hold it in anymore. Whatever information you have please give it to me, I'll check it. And if that information is not up to my expectations then I'll go..." She stopped herself from saying anything further and looked somewhere else other than him.

Feng Jianyu frowned hearing her half-finished sentence. Without giving her any reply he continued drying her hair but his mind was already disturbed by her half-finished sentence. After fifteen minutes he tossed the hair dryer roughly on the table making her jump by the loud voice.

Both stared at each other, mirror acted as the medium in between them to see into each other's eyes.

"Mei, I don't like it when somebody left their sentence in mid-way. What do you mean by the statement when you said if the information is not up to your expectations then what? Where are you planning to go? What's going on in your mind?" There was anger in his voice now as he had an inkling about what she was about to say next but restrained herself. And if by any chance that is true, he won't mind being rude to her.

"Freshen up fast. I'm hungry" She got up to leave but Jianyu holds her arm tightly and pulled her towards him, "Mei, complete your sentence. Tell me what will you do then?" Having a feeling of premonition, he couldn't control the strength of his grip and clutched his fingers on her arms tightly.

She whimpered in his tight grip, "That's my personal matter; you don't have to interfere in it" Xiu Mei doesn't want to reveal unnecessary details about her future plans. Especially after she came to know that his accident seven years back was a well-planned murder, how can she drag him into her own mess and risk his life again? How can she tell him that she wants to go back to Country Y to investigate it personally?
