Alice's eyes widened at this abrupt behavior of Butler Xavier. Swaying her hand she asked him what's the matter.

"Come with me. But don't speak anything and walk tiptoed." He again whispered and Alice could only nod her head. Before taking her out, Xavier set pillows on the bed as though to create an illusion that someone is still sleeping on it. Though she wanted to ask the reason but anyway she decided to follow him as of now.

Holding her hand Butler Xavier took her to the terrace where the Kong family was sitting under the round canopy, drinking and smoking their night out as if they are celebrating something. Mrs. Kong and Kong Liu were sitting in the corner, but actively partic.i.p.ating in the discussion.

"Finally that b.i.t.c.h is sixteen today. Let's get over with this ASAP." Kong Wei the eldest son of Kong Da said, taking in a puff of smoke.

"Exactly, now we don't have to keep her in our house anymore. Let her sign the doc.u.ments and kill her… My hands are itching since long" Kong Wen rubbed his palms. Alice saw his bloodthirsty eyes and unconsciously flinched back.

"No… No one will touch her until I say so. I want one more thing from her" Kong Da refrained his sons from taking any action against his wishes. He took a sip of whiskey, his gaze constantly looking at the horizon, unfathomable.

"But Dad, why? What else that orphan can give us? Wasn't this your plan from the beginning that after making her sign the doc.u.ments of Uncle Zhi's property, we'll kill her." Kong Liu looked at her father pouting her lips, she was displeased by the change in plans.

Mrs. Kong scoffed out loudly, "Exactly…. Just get rid of that filthy b.i.t.c.h soon. I don't understand why Brother in law decided to give all his property to someone like her. Who knows whose dirty blood is flowing through her body? No ident.i.ty, no family background, and she dare to live among Kong's. "Exactly mom!" Kong Wen nodded in response and looked at his father, "C'mon dad, let's stick to the plan. We have already given her enough days to live. "Then it's decided… Wen, drag her from her bed and make her sign the doc.u.ments now. I want to watch this great show live…. Entertain us" Kong Wei laughed aloud, further joined in by other family members except for Kong Da.

Seeing how desperate their family is to kill Alice, Kong Da glared at his sons and shouted, "I said no… No one will touch her until I say so. Wen, don't you dare go against my commands." Before Kong Wen could take any action, Kong Da stopped him.

"But Dad…."

"Don't make me say it one more time. And this order is for every one of you" Kong Da warned his entire family before they do something reckless.

Alice was quietly listening to their conversation peeking through the door, while Xavier supported her weak body when he felt she is about to fall any time. Hearing their conversation she understood the reason behind Kong family's cold behavior towards her all this while. They didn't include her in their family because she was always a mere orphan among them, they never change their mentality about her. All this while their only motive was to get General Zhi's property from her.

Although she was aware of the truth that Kong Zhi had adopted her when she was a year old, he never told her anything else about how she ended up with him. And Kong Zhi's good behavior never bothered her to dwell into the matter more. She considered him as her family all this while and never expected anything else in return. But Kong Zhi will put his entire property in her name and today she has become the official owner of the property, was a new discovery for her. She was moved by Kong Zhi's thoughtfulness for her.
