Suddenly in his peripheral vision, Feng Jianyu noticed a black Bugatti Veyron car enters inside and stopped not too far from his car. As the door opened, a tall man wearing shades, disembarked from the car. Although he could only see the back of the man, this is more than enough for Jianyu to recognize him… He is the King of the underworld, Lu Xion.

Looking at her scrunched face and tightly clenched eyes, antic.i.p.ating for the pain to come because of the fall, a chuckle escape Xion's mouth. "Little tomato, open your eyes you are absolutely safe"

Xiu Mei opened her left eye to take a peek if she's really safe or not. Finding Xion in front of her eyes, a smiled crawled on her lips. "Hey… Thanks. Otherwise, this was going to be an ugly fall"

"You dare to say thanks to me? Now face this…" saying this, he abruptly removes his hands from her waist, making her fall again. She gasped, but the next second he caught her back before she hits the ground. "Enjoyed the free-fall?" he teased.

"X…!!?"

"Sorry… Jokes apart…" His hands rose naturally to check her temperature, "Howz your fever now? Feeling better??.... Hm! Fever is down, but Mei you should take rest. What are you doing at the company? And as expected, her phone rang at the very minute she looked at her car… It was Feng Jianyu calling…

She excused herself to pick the phone call….

Feng Jianyu: "If you don't return in three minutes than the pending meeting with your boss will happen right here, in the parking lot." His voice sounded cold, and she knew that he is capable to do what he said just now.

'What is wrong with this man? How am I supposed to handle the situation?'

"Little Tomato, I've called the chopper…. Let's go, I'm gonna drop you to your house" Feng Jianyu heard Xion's voice calling Mei so intimately.
