Feng Jianyu's resolve to punish her a little longer cracked hearing her never-ending sobs and kitten-like voice.

His words made her cry even harder….. Her cries were getting louder and sorrowful that it alarmed Dr. w.a.n.g s.h.i.+, Lu Xion, Feng Jin, and Wu Zixin. They ran towards the room to check if everything is fine with Xiu Mei and saw her crying in Feng Jianyu's arms, who was equally consoling her.

As Feng Jianyu's back was towards the door he didn't notice that someone have disturbed their private moments but Xiu Mei saw them standing at the door. She instantly wiped her tears as except Jianyu noone has the right too see her vulnerable side. This is exclusive to her husband.

"H-Hi everyone" She croaked out, waving her hand at them.

Lu Xion and Xiu Mei's gaze met, and the former seems to be saying YOU- OWE-ME-AN-EXPLANATION.

She saw another man entering the room wearing a military uniform. But this uniform was different; instead of black, it was blue… Oh, wait! This was their home country's military uniform. Looking at ta.s.sel and star at his shoulder he is the major general. Such a high ranking officer! What is he doing in Country B? Wrong question! Why does he resemble Jianyu? Hold on! He is Feng Dingxiong's third son!?

Feng Jianyu turned back and saw the uninvited guests entering inside. Ignoring them he moved a little to sit by her bedside and pushed the b.u.t.ton to prop the headboard up. "Do you want anything?"

"Er… Water" 

"I'll get it" Wu Zixin volunteered and went out to get a gla.s.s of water.

"Ghost, Roxie, and Gemie. Where are they? Had you left them in the forest? Ghost got injured while saving my life"

"Relax! They are fine. That man with you was properly treated and sleeping in one of the rooms while the dogs are sedated" w.a.n.g s.h.i.+ answered.

"Why?" Xiu Mei frowned.

"Because they were not allowing anyone to touch you or that man" This time Lu Xion replied "On the field, our team had to restrain them first in order to get you here" The time Feng Jianyu tried to go near Xiu Mei, Roxie and Gemie lunged on him to protect her. If it was not his men who restrained them on time they would have succeeded in their attempt. But the giant dogs bite few of their men, forcing to use tranquilizers.

"Cruel people!" She murmured.

 "Miss. Mei if you are feeling fine, could you please tell us about Kong's secret base?" For Feng Jin duty comes first and then family. She might be his future sister in law, but at present, he is on a mission to help Country B. But considering their relation, he kept his voice gentle and hoped she would tell them everything.

Xiu Mei shook her head, "No! I won't disclose the details of Kong's secret base. Not yet"

"Why? My team is fully prepared, it won't take us more than 20 minutes to annihilate them. Let's get over with this mission ASAP" Feng Jin frowned. Earlier he didn't care but looking at the miserable condition of people living in this region and how corrupt military power is, he was determined to help them.
