'CRASH...…..'

"Xiu Mei...", Feng Jianyu shouted her name.....

The car stopped after a distance, and the driver of the car looked in the rearview mirror and smirked, 'b.i.t.c.h...'. Then the driver speeded away from there to avoid being caught.

All this happened in a blink of an eye that no one even thought of noting down the car license number.

People saw this scene unfold in front of their eyes and they started crowding around the injured in concern. They saw; on the corner of the road a man and women have fallen down, they had just met with an accident.

When the speeding car approached towards her, Feng Jianyu immediately ran towards her and pulled her towards him with her wrist.

But he used too much force to pull her, that she first crashed into him, and then they both lost their balance and fell on the ground.

Someone from the crowd shouted, "Call the ambulance….."

"Sir, Madam are you alright?"

"Are you hurt anywhere?"

Feng Jianyu opened his eyes and looked around, and then he looked at Xiu Mei with concern. She has fallen over him and her face is buried on his left arm.

"Xiu Mei?", He held her tightly and called her name.

Hearing no response from her he got scared. He felt like his breathing has stopped and he started taking deep breaths.

"Xiu Mei? You ok? Talk to me"

Feng Jianyu could feel her chest undulating over his body, he understood she is breathing, but don't know if she's injured or not. And if she's injured then how bad it is? He moved himself a little and sat down holding her unresponsive body cradled in his arms.

When he turned her, He saw there is some blood flowing from her forehead. Immediately he took out his handkerchief and press on her wound to stop the bleeding.

He patted her cheek continuously with another hand, "Xiu Mei? Don't scare me like this. Wake up."

Someone from the crowd gave him a bottle of water, he immediately splashes some water on her face and patted her cheeks again.

Xiu Mei opened her eyes and looked around in confusion. She is unable to understand what has happened and why everyone is staring at her.

Seeing her open her eyes he took a sigh of relief.

"Hey! You ok?", Feng Jianyu asked in concern still patting her cheeks.

Hearing His voice she looked towards him but saw some blood on his s.h.i.+rt, "CEO Feng? Are you ok? Are you injured?" She touched the blood on his chest.

Feng Jianyu "…."

"Silly girl... worry about yourself first", He scolded her.

Then she realizes she is laying in Feng Jianyu's arms and he was trying to wake her up by patting her cheeks.

"Yaa… yaa... I am fine… don't worry about me…", she tried to get up from his arms. "Owwwww", she held her head in pain.

"What are you doing? Just lay down… There might be any serious head injury… The ambulance is coming", He made her lay down back in his arms.

"I said I am fine… Don't you understand? There is blood on your s.h.i.+rt… Are you injured? Did you rupture your wound? Let me check", She scolded him back and stubbornly got up.

Immediately she opened his s.h.i.+rt b.u.t.tons and checked his injury.

"Oh my G.o.d! CEO Feng your wound has ruptured and it's bleeding… I have to stop the bleeding first… We cannot wait for the ambulance", she said worriedly.

On the other hand, Feng Jianyu was relatively calm. He looked towards her head injury and the bleeding has stopped a little, but she might need a st.i.tch or two.

He looked into her eyes, she was clearly scared for him but there is the determination in her eyes. She was holding herself strong in front of him and acting smartly in a situation like this. She never for once cared for her injury or behaved like those fragile women, who would cry their eyes out by the sight of blood.

Feng Jianyu has a sudden itch to lift his hand and caressed her cheek to a.s.sure her, that he is fine and nothing will happen to him.

At that moment the Restaurant manager also came running out to check on the situation. He recognized the couple instantly because of the generous tip that Feng Jianyu gave to his waiter.

"Madam, I will send both of you to the hospital in my car", He immediately brought his car and Xiu Mei dragged Feng Jianyu inside it.

"Thank you so much… take me to People's Hospital… immediately… I will stop this bleeding first", she was pressing on Feng Jianyu's wound with both her hands.

"But madam that hospital is 30 minutes' drive from here… I will take you to the nearest hospital", the manager tried to reason with her.

"NO… That hospital can't provide us good medical facility… do as I said", she sternly replied back.

"But madam your husband is bleedi….

"Just shut up… and drive to People's Hospital", She did not allow the manager to complete his sentence and yelled at him.

Feng Jianyu was surprised that she decided to take him to the People's Hospital and not to a nearby clinic or hospital.

'What is she trying to do?' He thought, but she soon cleared his doubt by her next action.

"CEO Feng don't mind me for my next action… you will just feel a slight pinch", with this sentence, Xiu Mei suddenly hopped on Feng Jianyu's lap and pulled out something from her wrist band with her mouth and put it inside his wound.

She did not give him any chance to even respond and everything was done within 5 seconds. He did not feel anything, even the slight pinch she mentioned before.

When done she looked up towards him and wiped the blood on her mouth by twisting her head towards her shoulder sleeves.

Feng Jianyu "….."

Xiu Mei removed her hands from his wound and lifted Feng Jianyu's right hand to press over his left chest, "Press over it".

Then she comes down from his lap and sat down beside him. Taking out her cell phone from her pocket she called Dr. w.a.n.g s.h.i.+, she had saved his number last time.

"h.e.l.lo, Dr. w.a.n.g? I am Xiu Mei speaking… CEO Feng's wound has ruptured and it's bleeding. I will reach to People's Hospital within 30 minutes. Be prepared with your team at Hospital's entrance. And don't worry I have stopped the bleeding for the time being", with this she hangs up the phone.

"Alright... come fast", Dr. w.a.n.g replied.

Feng Jianyu was horrified at her abrupt behavior. For the first time in his life, he was unable to process the situation unfold in front of him. He was staring at her like she is an alien species.

"Stop staring at me like this! It's creepy! I am not an alien species", Xiu Mei rebuke Feng Jianyu for his uncomfortable gaze.

Feng Jianyu "..."

'How did she know I called her an alien species?'

"What did you do to me just now?" , Unable to hold his curiosity he asks her.

"CEO Feng! Don't worry… I only stopped your bleeding… Just check yourself", she pointed towards his injury.
