In the car, Feng Jianyu pa.s.sed her a bottle of flavored water, "Mei, drink this. You'll feel better" His voice was full of concern.

Xiu Mei looked at him with a pained expression, her lips pressed into a thin line as the suppressed emotions threatened to crawl up. All this while she did not show her emotions but she was feeling suffocated hearing about Xavier and his family, especially about little Rose.

When Feng Jianyu saw she is not moving, he gently lifted her chin up, pinched the cheeks to open her mouth and brought the bottle closer to lips. Keeping her gaze fixed at Jianyu she finished the bottle in a single breath.

"You want more?" He asked wiping her lips with his fingers.

Words refused to come out of her mouth as she shook her head and looked down at her fingers. Understanding her mood he pressed the b.u.t.ton to lift the part.i.tion up to talk to her in private.

"Come here, my love" He lifted her up to cradle her in his arms. The moment she felt the warmth, her head automatically rested onto Jianyu's chest as she gripped his s.h.i.+rt tightly. "Jianyu… Did you saw the fierce rage in Uncle Xavier's eyes? He was so protective for the doll. It pained me seeing him like that. It pained me more after hearing about Rose"

"Hm! I saw that. And I know you are hurt" he rubbed his forefingers in her scalp while talking to her. At a time like this, all she needs is his support and presence around her to talk her heart out. She is not aloof or cold but has turned herself like this due to past experiences. In reality, she is an emotional person who cares about everyone around her. And the best example is to see her thoughtful treatment towards her staff.

They are unworthy to live among humans" She said coldly, "How can they love their own daughter to no limit and treats someone else' daughter like a use and throw product. "Mei…. Just say it once. I'll get them all killed" Feng Jianyu say it directly and cupped her face. His blood boils in anger as he spoke with a tight jaw, "Forget about 24 hours. I've enough resources in this country to annihilate them within an hour. No one will ever come to know how Kong's disappeared overnight. And about that Kong Liu, you are free to do whatever you want to do. Cut off her limbs and make her beg on streets, auction her off in the black market, have her put in a mental asylum for a lifetime or donate her to science to do some drug experiments"

She was horrified by Jianyu's scary suggestions. "Jianyu you!?"

"I'm not a saint Mei. You really think after seeing those scars on your body I'll ever let go of Kong's?" He said directly, "Moreover, after listening about Rose, I cannot even imagine what you had gone through that night. Now I understood it must be something horrible that you never talked about it yet"

"Shh… Relax… Relax! No need to say anything" Xiu Mei felt him pulling her closer, rubbing his chin over the crown of her head while his hands never stopped caressing her back. It was soothing and relaxing. She knows with him around hshe don't have to worry about anything. But she is not a woman who would s.h.i.+eld herself behind a man.

As always, she decided to jump into the dirty mess to kill the filthy parasite named Kong.

"Time for some action" she talked to herself.

Feng Jianyu looked down at her and saw the glint of determination in her eyes. He knows she is not the woman who would rely on him completely and this makes her special. "How about you include me in this action?"

Xiu Mei looked up from his embrace and smiled, "Actually…"

"I won't take 'No' for an answer" He warned.

"Jianyu… I want to…."

"No matter what, I'm going to be part of this plan. You always exclude me out" He commented.

"That's what I'm trying to….." Xiu Mei covered his mouth with her palm the moment he tried to interrupt again. "Shut up! Listen to me. This time you are going to execute the plan. Not me. I'll just manage the technical part"

Feng Jianyu gave a wide smile as there's no risk in handling the technical part. As long as she is safe, he is willing to venture into h.e.l.l.

"What's the plan?" He asked in a low growl and Xiu Mei stood up from his arms to discuss her plan with him. "This is not a plan but my first physical attack on Kong's to tell them that it's high time they start paying for their sins"

She explained the set-up to Jianyu and smiled wickedly. He equally gave a devilish smile, "Now I understood why you decided to step out of the practical part. Anyway, I wouldn't have allowed you do it either" Hearing his response she chuckled, "Then let's proceed with it"

"Yeah! But I decided to add something to it" He winked and she nodded instantly, "Feel free"
