Junjie put the phone back into his pocket and went to talk to Xiu Mei about something, leaving Feng Jin all confused.

Feng Jin instantly checked his phone to confirm the claim of his five minutes elder brother and indeed the video was deleted. But how? How did Junjie managed to delete the video within two minutes and that too without touching his phone?

For the long time, Xiu Mei looked at the folder that has information found in chip. Surprisingly when Jianyu copied the contents from that chip it only contains a single folder with a weird name a.s.signed to it.

For unknown reason, she was unwilling to open it on seeing the name given to that folder,

This word has old connection with her. 'b.i.t.c.h'… That was the nickname a.s.signed to Alice whenever Kong's talked about her.

Does this folder have some information related to her? Is it related to the night seven years back? Is she ready to face it again?

Xiu Mei took a deep breath to clear her mind.

'Mei, let's not overthink about it. Maybe it really contains a piece of valuable information about Kong's partner'

Rotating the mouse cursor blankly, drawing imaginary circles, she took the chance and double-clicked on the folder, for only G.o.d knows after how much time.

The picture that appeared in front was more then enough to hasten her heartbeat as her hand unconsciously reached out to push the monitor roughly, breaking the screen due to the intense force she applied.

Every wires attached to the computers were yanked out as if she was making sure they never haunts her again.

No! She is not ready to face this again. She is not ready yet.

The folder contains a long video. Without playing the video, the thing that scared her most was the small introductory picture. Xiu Mei recognised the girl in that picture instantly. It was the close up shot of a sixteen year old girl, face dripping with blood, tiny gla.s.s shards stuck near eyes, pale face, lifeless…

With just a small glimpse, everything played like a flash back in front of her eyes. It was vivid, real and horror. Her biggest nightmare returned back. Everything around here seems to be scaring her, this beautiful room carefully made by Feng Jianyu, felt suffocating.

She wanted to cry, scream but was too proud to to do that in the presence of someone else. She did not want to come as a weak girl in front of two men sitting outside.

With trembling hands she picked her phone to delete everything from Feng Jianyu's phone first. He must not to see this video at any cost.

She was in her worse state, her mind going blank, making her feel exhausted. The task that takes few minutes to do suddenly become the most difficult thing to do right now.

Xiu Mei was so dazed by what she saw in the small picture, her heart refused to understand wheather she is doing the things correctly or not. Trying to catch her breath, she managed to delete everything from Jianyu's phone.

After multiple knocks Feng Junjie opened the door a little, to push his head inside when Xiu Mei did not gave him any reply for a long time.

His eyes widened in shock upon seeing Xiu Mei yanking the wires off of computer. If it was some other time he would have barged inside the room by now but upon seeing the current state of Xiu Mei, he did not dare to mess with her.
