Feng Junjie's eyes were filled with worry for her. 

"Sister Mei Mei? Are you fine?!"

Xiu Mei ignored Feng Junjie's panic-stricken voice but continued detaching every wire from the computer.

 Feng Junjie moved up a little and touched her arm, making her jolt up. "Sister Mei Mei?!" Just a little touch of Feng Junjie and she pushed him hard in her self defense. "No! No! Please don't. Go away"

Feng Junjie was unprepared for this and staggered few steps back, b.u.mping into the table. His action caused a few of the equipment to fall down. "Sister Mei Mei…. It's me JUNJIE" He emphasized on his name and was able to grab her attention.

She looked up feeling apologetic. "I-I'm sorry. I'm very sorry"

"Are you alright Sister?"

"Yes, I'm f-fine"

By this time Feng Jin also came there to check what's with the loud noise. He saw cold sweat on Junjie's forehead as he was talking to the poor woman, who was visibly disturbed. He noticed Xiu Mei was breathing heavily and standing a little away as if maintaining a distance.

They looked at her, suffused with uneasiness. A few hours ago she was fine, then what happened behind these four walls that she is disturbed to this extent. Feng Jin was the most shocked, he has seen her confident and ruthless just like his brother, but never in this state. Being in military he can clearly see she is trying to hide her true emotions.

She rubbed the back of her neck, "I-I saw a spider crawling over my system so while trying to get rid of it I made a mess by mistake. I'm sorry"

Her strange answer compelled Junjie and Jin to share a glance with each other and nod head in understanding. "It's okay Sister. I'll send a servant to clean up the mess" Feng Junjie said and saw her walking out of the room with words, "Please don't tell anything about this to Jianyu"

 "Call brother. I'm guarding her" Feng Jin said but was instantly stopped by Feng Junjie. "No need. Let Sister Mei Mei calm down first. If we give respect to big bro's wishes then our future sister in law deserves the same respect too. Until brother comes we will take care of her" He instantly took over the charge of being the elder brother.

Xiu Mei stayed in her room and didn't come out while Junjie made sure to send food for her on time. When Feng Jianyu came he enters inside the computer room, being sure that she must be working there only. But the condition of computer room depicted another story as he turned around and gave a questionable gaze to his brothers.

"You are drinking?" Feng Jianyu's gruff voice startled Xiu Mei and the wine gla.s.s slipped from her fingers.

The sound of gla.s.s shattering into pieces rang throughout the balcony.

She didn't dare to look at him afraid he would see her swollen eyes and retorted in a weak voice. "It was only a quarter gla.s.s"

"Then why the bottle is almost empty?"

Xiu Mei heard the sound of the lid being lifted and closed from porcelain ca.s.seroles to check whether the food is eaten or not.

Not so surprisingly, everything was untouched. She even skipped her medicines.

Before her finger could touch the stem of another gla.s.s to pour some mwine he took the bottle away from her reach. He paused to look at her face when she neither complained nor retorted, just retrieves her hand back. He saw how gloomy she looked and took the seat beside her before placing her on his lap.

Although Xiu Mei kept her gaze lowered, she realized he was looking at her intently. "Lizard broke because of computer"

His mouth twitched at her incoherent reply. She was clearly drunk, talking sense into her is useless right now.

"Lizard or spider?" He questioned, placing his large palm on her forehead, cheek and then neck. He wanted to check her temperature to ensure alcohol had not heated up her body much. A frown appeared on his forehead when she felt hot.

Xiu Mei blinked at his question, "Lizard and spider both did it. Will you punish them for me?"

"Hm! I will. Now sit straight" He slides his hand under her dress to check how hot her stomach is and sighed "You are impossible Mei. How can you drink the whole bottle of century-old wine? Don't you know it's harmful for you?"

"Buu... hu... You are scolding me" Tears rolled down her eyes, stomping Jianyu's heart.

"Tsk...No, I'm not. I'll scold you tomorrow" he hugged the crying girl and patted "There there... Stop crying, I love you"

"Bad picture… So many gla.s.s shards near my eyes. They hurt me when I blinked. They hurt me when I rotate my eyeb.a.l.l.s" Without registering what Feng Jianyu was saying or whether he is paying attention to her or not, she spoke whatever came to her mind.

"Come! Let's bath together" He sounded calm but his heart stung at her every word giving him endless pain. By now he was sure that she found something related to that night. But how? From where? Is it a picture or a video?

"Oww…. Cold" Jianyu was brought back to reality when she cried of cold water. "I know, I know, but cold water is best right now. Sorry baby" He joined her in the bathtub, leaning her back against his chest to warm her with his body.
