It looks like its Xiu Mei's turn to face the pain and struggle that Jianyu faced while trying to win over her heart. But now when everything is sorted between them, they are married and love each other unconditionally, she is ready to fight against the entire world to be with Feng Jianyu.

Even if she has to fight against the man's parents, she won't move an inch.

"I trusted you and send him to your villa for recuperation, but it looks like you took it as an opportunity to climb the olive branch. Right?" Feng Dingxiong's voice was nothing like how he spoke to her when he came seeking help, it sounded like a rumble of thunder to Xiu Mei whose body became stiff.

She took a step back, forcing Jianyu to follow her. But the deep respect she holds for Feng Dindxiong kicked in, "Good Evening Mr. Feng" She greeted, bowing her head in respect.

"I'm not here for the greetings. Let me inform you, Miss. Xiu Mei, you dared to breach the contract we signed and I won't be easy on you" Feng Dingxiong motioned her and Jianyu to sit with him on the couch.

"It was nowhere mentioned in the contract that I'm not allowed to fall in love with him. Contract was all about his health and recuperation, and you can see it yourself Jianyu is perfectly fine. Happier than ever."

Feng Dingxiong c.o.c.ked his head at her words, "It seems you won't let go of my son"

"Never! He is mine… Only mine… Forever and ever and ever." Xiu Mei looked into Feng Dingxiong's eyes at his words. She was still feeling uncomfortable fighting against the man to whom she'll always be grateful. However, she stood her ground for the love of her life.

Her answer swelled Feng Jianyu's heart with happiness. He pretended to clean the remnants of food from the corner of her mouth when in reality he failed to control the urge to touch her lips.

He deliberately remained quite to see how his wife would handle the situation with his father. It was a treat to see her fighting for him fiercely. Undoubtedly, she will turn out to be the winner in the end.

"There are a lot of women out there much more capable than you to be with my son. What makes you think that you deserve my son?" Feng Dingxiong mocked, "What ident.i.ty do you have to become future Mrs. Feng?"

 Again this ident.i.ty question? Unconsciously her grip tightened on Feng Jianyu's s.h.i.+rt, digging her nails in his skin. He frowned realizing the tension in Xiu Mei's body and eyed his father for crossing the limit by asking this question.

"Dad, you crossed limit by aski…." He went quiet when Xiu Mei tucked his s.h.i.+rt and shook her head. Running a gentle hand through her hair he kissed her forehead before looking back at his father proudly. As if telling him to be ready to face her sharp answers.

"Yes, I don't have any ident.i.ty by birth. I don't have a father's surname. I don't have a good education like all of you. But I can proudly say that I created an ident.i.ty for myself" Xiu Mei let out the tiniest laughter, "And you know about that ident.i.ty very well. I'm the owner of R-Tech, President XM. The only business tyc.o.o.n in the corporate world to whom you chased three years, just for a meeting"

She continued, "However this time I have something to add to my ident.i.ty. I'm the granddaughter of Zeng s.h.i.+hong, a prominent figure in the business industry" She recalled about a certain someone, "And I'm the adopted daughter of Late General Kong Zhi, one of the most respectable men of this country"

"And as far as availability of more capable women is concerned…. I'm sure a man like Jianyu deserves someone much better than me, but one thing is sure, no one can love him as much as I do. I love him more than my life. And I'm willing to sacrifice anything for him" Holding Jianyu's hand she said it all in one go.

An ecstatic and triumphant voice heard from the door along with the sound of multiple claps, "Yesss… That's like my future SISTER IN LAW. Sister Mei Mei, I'm proud of you"

Feng Junjie, w.a.n.g s.h.i.+ and Feng Jin stood by the door, applauding and cheering for Xiu Mei. With their presence, the room became livelier and she felt comfortable.

Feng Dingxiong spoke up, "Get out all of you. We are discussing an important topic"  

"Of course it's an important topic, dad. Just for the information, except for Sister Mei Mei, we won't accept any other woman as Mrs. Feng Jianyu." Everyone nodded in support and Junjie squinted his eyes, "Trust me, I'll make her run away from my brother's life"

Everyone stepped inside and stood behind Xiu Mei's couch, supporting her.

"Uncle Dingxiong, it's not about whether Jianyu deserves Mei or not. I think it's vice versa" w.a.n.g s.h.i.+ looked apologetically at Feng Jianyu, "Sorry brother, but that's the reality"

"Looks like you have charmed all the brothers," Feng Dingxiong said.

Everyone disregarded Dingxiong as of he was air. He bolted up from his chair and walked out of the penthouse, much to everyone's dismay.

Feng Jianyu frowned. He was shocked by his father's att.i.tude. It was obviously his father's plan to bring Xiu Mei back into his life then why did he react like this? Wasn't he just playing with her?

Feng Jianyu locked eyes with Xiu Mei, never once blinked, seeking if she is fine or not. He felt surprised seeing an a.s.suring smile on her lips.
