"I think I should start making efforts to impress your grandfather. The way he is so protective of you, I'm afraid he will make me strip to check if everything is up to his standards or not" Xiu Mei chuckled and Feng Jianyu draws her closer, resting her head on his chest, "I'll talk to dad"

"No need! I'll handle him my way. He should know that his daughter in law is not going to give up at any cost"

Feng Jianyu heard her and laughed, "Fiesty you are"

"Hm! I'm" She snuggled closer to make herself comfortable, "After Infinity Software's case; I've turned into an overprotective person when it comes to something that's mine. And you are only mine. Mine. Mine and MINE"

A jolt of shock pa.s.sed through his body when she kissed him abruptly on the chest, through the open b.u.t.tons of his s.h.i.+rt.

The third day of the conference

There was a lot of excitement within the corporate circle as R-Tech's marketing team did a tremendous job by creating hype about the product that was to be demonstrated today. However, it was not a difficult task to achieve as R-Tech's other three products were such a big hit that it became the talk of the corporate world.

Shares of Phoenix Enterprises and R-Tech were trading at their all-time high since the summit was started.

But the way this final product was promoted by the company, it was obvious that it is going to be an astounding product.

However, Just after Xiu Mei's presentation, Kong Liu was going to present her product. Just when Xiu Mei was walking towards her private room, she b.u.mped into Kong Liu and the later warned her, "Miss. XM, what a pleasant surprise. I hope you have come well prepared. Otherwise, I'm sure you are well aware that my presentation is after you"

Xiu Mei gave a fake smile, "Exactly, your presentation is after me. All the best"

Just as Xiu Mei took a step, Kong Liu tried to trip her by placing her foot in front. Xiu Mei was aware of Kong Liu's petty tricks; she had been a victim of it many times and had learned how to teach her a lesson.

She stepped on Kong Liu's foot with her full body weight earning a loud shriek from the woman, who falls down on the ground, holding her injured ankle. "Ahh…."

"Petty tricks" Xiu Mei scoffed.

At the convention center

Instead of paying attention to the stage, everyone keeps sneaking glances at the Phoenix Enterprises table. Today along with Lu Xion and Xiu Mei, a man that seemed to be in his early 70's was seated with them.

The most surprising thing was, XM brought him inside the hall holding his hands and was extremely polite and courteous. In between presentations, she diligently answered questions that he asked, giving him a gla.s.s of warm water every half an hour to make sure he stays hydrated, and the smile on her lips never left while talking to the old man.

"Looks like he is the President of R-Tech"

"Obviously, he looks like a genius scientist. His age justifies the experience required to create all those products"

"We'll try talking to him during lunch"

"Let me see if he is available for a meeting. I don't mind even if asks for late-night meeting"

"Make sure you contact his secretary ASAP. I'm sure many other delegates were looking for the same opportunity"

Kong Da gave a smug smile hearing delegates talk about the old man. "This is it! She really asked the President of R-Tech to come here. Now no one can stop us from meeting him. Looks like his business is managed by XM, that's why she's representing R-Tech solely. Once this oldie is convinced even XM won't be able to do anything" He mumbled, looking at Phoenix Enterprises table. Today he was the happiest amongst all.

MC walked to the center of the stage, "Now I invite our star of the Summit, Miss. XM from R-Tech"

Everyone expected that a table would be set in the middle of the room, giving a live demonstration but to their disappointment, nothing like that happened. However, two men do came but instead of setting up a table one of them pa.s.sed a product to XM and the other one placed the second product on Feng Corporation's table.

Surprisingly, CEO Feng Jianyu didn't object it.

"Good afternoon everyone!" Xiu Mei started. " First I would like to thank everyone for the overwhelming response I received for R-Tech's products and secondly, thank you for the love, respect and support I received from you" She made a deliberate pause as her gaze scanned the crowd in front. Her eyes went straight to Kong Da's table, all three gave her a smug look thinking soon she's going to embarra.s.s herself.

"Of course, exceptions are always there" A peal of laughter echoed in the hall as she said that, some even looked at Kong Da's table as if saying, SHE-IS TALKING-ABOUT-YOU.

Kong Da's face turned red due to embarra.s.sment.

Her gaze s.h.i.+fted to Mr. Qiao's table and a bright smile crawled on her lips, "Mr. Qiao thank you for the amazing dinner, endless stories, and for your thoughtfulness about my foot injury"

"No need for thanks, just treat me after returning back to China. After all, our company's headquarters are at a distance of 30 minutes" As Mr. Qiao's voice boomed, laughter echoed.

"Coming back to the product. Before I introduce it to everyone, let me inform you that R-Tech is not going to ma.s.s produce it" She paused and let everyone register the news, "Yes, you heard it right. In fact, we are not going to make another piece of it. This will forever be one and only"
