The next morning Feng Jianyu woke up early in the morning and saw Xiu Mei wrapped in his arms. He let out a content sigh seeing the beautiful scenery. Her body was filled with love bites, face little flushed and glowing like crystals. He wanted to wake up to this scenery every morning all his life.

His brows furrowed when he saw her frowning amidst her sleep feeling uncomfortable in her body. His lips pressed into a thin line; surely she is aching all over.

Instantly he messaged his private room service to clean the bedroom before he carried her in his arms and entered the bathtub with her, lowering her over his body.

Giving a bath was easier this way…

Xiu Mei jolted when he rubbed the loofah on her skin, her sensitive body immediately curled in fear, "mmm… No more!"

"Shh… I'm not doing anything, just giving you a warm bath" She felt him rubbing her shoulder and placing a kiss on ear. Her body immediately relaxed and she leaned back on his chest. The man's gentle movement was like a lullaby making her hum when he poured the lukewarm water poured on her body.

By the time he brought her back to their bedroom, she fell asleep again. He patted her body dry and lowered her on the bed. The room service was quick enough to change the bedding after receiving instructions from the big boss himself.

In the shower he ma.s.saged her for a long time to ease the tensed muscles, his expression softened when he noticed she was not frowning anymore. His gaze darted on the clock on bed table it was only 7 a.m., without any second thought he lifted up the blanket and once again scooped her in his arms to take a quick nap.

Qingzhou has successfully established his position as the next presidential candidate after the big reveal, becoming the country's favorite.

Since Xiu Mei let Qingzhou and General Kong Zhi be the face of the mission while Feng Jin was the ally who came with his team on request of the President, the entire country was oblivious of someone else's involvement except these three.

However, that was what Xiu Mei had promised Qingzhou in exchange for Kong Da, Kong Wei, and Kong Wen. Soon Kong Da and Kong Wei will be secretly sent to Lu Xion's underworld base under the pretext of their death caused by mob lynching in jail.

At the airport, President Pang and Qingzhou came personally to see off their prestigious guests.

President Pang looked at Xiu Mei with a soft gaze, her eyes couldn't stop admiring how pretty and graceful she is. Her sharp experienced eyes didn't fail to notice the handsome man accompanying her who walked side by side along with her like constant support as Xiu Mei greeted everyone before leaving.

Unknown to anyone, Jianyu was following Xiu Mei afraid she might fall any moment due to last night's weakness.

"President Pang," Xiu Mei bowed in courtesy when she saw that President herself has stepped forward followed by Qingzhou in tow who was carrying a soft smile.

"Xiao Mei, no need to bow in front of me. Whatever you have done for my country it should be me who should….."

Before President Pang could say another word or bow Xiu Mei hold her palms. She shook her head, "Don't give me so much importance, President. Everyone knows that I'd my own selfish motives to destroy the base and expose Kong Da. Without your support, this mission was not possible"

President Pang's face melted, "Fine! I won't bow, but I've got something for you" Seeing the puzzled expression on Xiu Mei's face Qingzhou cleared his throat and gestured someone to bring the things.

A man from President's security brought two items neatly arranged on a traditional wooden tray and gave a military salute by stomping his left foot on the ground, back straight.

Qingzhou picked the first item a scroll wrapped with red ribbon and opened it, "Seven years back you were declared as the convict because of the fake case filled by Kong Da. This is the court's announcement stating you are innocent" saying he pa.s.sed her the doc.u.ment and continued, "You were once the citizen of this country and somehow our system failed to protect you. My sincere apologies and hereby present you the citizens.h.i.+p of this country"

Qingzhou placed the final doc.u.ment in her hand, "Sister, this country was your first home, if you ever need any help, or have a request in the future please free to ask us. You will always be the inseparable part of this country"

Xiu Mei felt a lump in her throat when she read the name on the final doc.u.ment, Alice Kong Zhi. How much she had craved to get this name but all she got was the name Alice. Only Alice. On every doc.u.ment she was addressed as General Kong Zhi's adopted daughter Alice.

She shamelessly proclaimed herself as Alice Kong Zhi but it was never official. This is the first legal doc.u.ment where she is addressed as Alice Kong Zhi.

Xiu Mei didn't know what to say about the doc.u.ments, the situation became weird for her as Country B's citizens.h.i.+p and the name Alice Kong Zhi seemed foreign to her.  She just nodded, "Thank you, I appreciate you considered me for the honour"

Suddenly a pair of gentle hands grabbed hers and a silky soft cloth in off-white with detailed hand-embroidery on the border was placed on her palms. "This is from my behalf. I won't take no for an answer. These are the orders from the President" President Pang pretended to be stern but the endearing tone of her voice was obvious and Xiu Mei accepted the cloth as a respect.

Xiu Mei's eyes trailed to General Kong Zhi who was sitting in the wheelchair with Gemie and Roxie guarding him. She crouched down in front of Kong Zhi and the later patted her head. He smiled to lighten the mood, "Even though you lived with me for only four years, you'll always be my daughter. After my final surgery, I've decided to take charge of Zhi memorial trust and take care of those thousands of orphan children. D-Do keep me in your m-memories….."

His voice choked before he could complete his sentence and Xiu Mei hugged him, "of course… I'll keep you in my memories as well as in my life. I-It's just I need some time,"

Suddenly Gemie and Roxie started barking and pulled the hem of her dress, seeking attention. She chuckled and bent down to hug them as they both rested their heads on her shoulder.

Feng Jianyu came forward to shake hands with General Kong Zhi and the latter warned him with his eyes to take care of her. Jianyu nodded his head in affirmation and touched the back of Kong hand. Zhi's

"Mei, it's time we should leave" He reminded.                                     

Xiu Mei got up and bid goodbye before Feng Jianyu helped her to board the plane.

w.a.n.g s.h.i.+, Feng Junjie and Feng Jin boarded the same plane along with Rong Xiang who was helped onto the plane by Bai Xin.

Huo Feng stayed back to finish legal formalities related to the claim of Infinity Software and Kong Da's property.

On the other hand, Lu Xion and Wu Zixin left the country in the afternoon along with Joseph and Xavier.
