"Love," Feng Jianyu said gently as he laid her down on the soft bed before taking a place beside her. He reached out to brush her cheeks softly, making her come out of trance like state. She immediately looked around for others but realised they were in the private room, a sigh escaped her mouth. It must be Jianyu who brought her here.

She pursed her lips and s.h.i.+fted her gaze back to Feng Jinayu. Seeing his worried face she slowly rose from the bed, "I want to sit" He instantly puffed the pillow to support her back and she s.h.i.+fted a bit to make room for the man to join her.

He took off his shoes and joined her on the bed, and she reflexively crawled in his arms. He saw her bringing the phone up to show a picture. It was the picture of three men on a private yacht posing at the deck holding drinks, behind them was the statue of Christ the redeemer.

Judging by their clothes it seems the picture was taken while they were partying. However, what shocked them most was the arrow drawn over their heads with a marker with something written about each man.

Xiu Mei pointed at the arrow starting from the first man in the picture stopping at third.

Feng Jianyu noticed the first man was Feng Dingxiong, above his head, it was written Feng Jianyu indicating the name of the son. Standing beside Feng Dingxiong was w.a.n.g Huang with w.a.n.g s.h.i.+ written above the arrow.

When his gaze s.h.i.+fted to the third man, Jianyu frowned as the man's face was deliberately painted black to hide his appearance.

He wanted to read what was written above the arrow but Xiu Mei was hiding it by placing a finger over it. "Love, let me see what's written" He rmoved her fingers from the screen and brought it near his lips but the action was stopped midway when he read the words.

'ALICE'

Silence followed.

For Xiu Mei, it was the kind of silence that she needed to process the meaning behind the picture. With her gaze stuck at that man, her eyes looked for any similarities between her and him but that was impossible yet she cannot stop herself.

"Let me see who send you this picture"

"Unknown number" Feng Jianyu tried to take the phone from her hands but before that, she answered and zoomed on the image. No matter how many efforts she put, she was trying to do the impossible.

Feng Jianyu saw her swiping the finger on the screen to show another image. This time Feng Dingxiong and his wife were sitting with a woman on the same yacht. The woman across them was holding a baby girl but again just like the other photograph the woman's face was painted black.

The baby girl's face was not clearly visible, but the arrow marked on the picture states that the girl is Alice.

Feng Jianyu saw her vigorously rubbing index finger over the picture and s.n.a.t.c.hes away the phone from her hands, throwing it somewhere.

"So this is the first attack of my enemy after they came to know that Alice is alive," She said. The happy and cheerful Xiu Mei a moment ago slowly changed into a completely different person, as if a mysterious emotion took over her. She was neither happy nor sad. "Emotional attack! They smartly pulled out the most powerful weapon by targeting my weakness… Jianyu… they targeted me by sending pictures insinuating that they are my parents. Do they really think I'll believe them?" She self-questioned herself in a daze, "Or should I believe?

"Mei…."

Xiu Mei didn't let him speak, "Right, I should not believe. I've already seen my mother's photographs and as far as my father is concerned this picture is definitely not true. According to this picture, your parents and my parents are known to each other. How could this be possible?"

Xiu Mei exchanged glances with the man. "There would be no such coincidence in this world. Right?

It was a known fact that R-Tech has signed the multi-billion dollar deal with Feng Jianyu and w.a.n.g s.h.i.+. By joining her father's name with theirs, someone was trying to divert her attention to Feng Dingxiong and w.a.n.g Huang.

Feng Jianyu's fist tightened as he fell silent and did not say anything. How to tell her that such a coincidence has happened with them?

"But I don't understand the purpose of involving your parents in this" She frowned and pondered with a lowered tone, "It can't be business-related.
