"I came to know about your grand adventure in Country Y" Feng Dingxiong commented placing the book aside.

"Glad your sources keep you well informed," Feng Jianyu said indifferently, "But that's not the answer to my question. Tell me everything about Alice and her family"

"You already got what you wanted; She is your wife now. What's the use of asking insignificant questions?" Feng Dingxiong asked, no one can decipher what he was thinking right now.

"The night seven years back, my wife was brutally tortured. She was beaten, kicked, mauled and almost r*ped. She went through a painful procedure of bone marrow extraction, lost her eyes sight, her skin pierced with gla.s.s shards, she was shot through and through near  heart"

"Even seven years later, she is still traumatized to the extent of never talked about the incident to anyone. Nightmares haunt her, I've seen her crying in sleep and spending the night strolling around the house. And here you are saying I'm asking insignificant questions. HOW?" Feng Jianyu seethed, slamming his hand at the antique porcelain vase that costs millions.

"Tell me everything you know about Alice and his parents. Why did you hide the fact that it was Alice's father who helped Feng Corporation in the crises? Why you never told her about her missing family? Why did you stop me to take action against Yangs?"

"JIANYU! Don't forget you're talking to your father?" A vein popped out on Feng Dingxiong's forehead. He knows his firstborn is the hot-headed person but this is the first time when Jianyu actually raised his voice at him, "And I don't know what you are talking about. You must be mistaken, go clear your facts first and then talk to me"

His voice wavered for a second when he said the last sentence but thankfully it skipped Jianyu's attention.

Feng Jianyu held his father's gaze fearlessly and gave a mocking smile, "I've my facts cleared. It's you who is hiding the truth"

"I'm not" His father retorted firmly, not ready to give up to Jianyu's demands.

"Yes, you are" Feng Jianyu declared, "Or maybe you've done something wrong to Alice's father that's why your guilty conscience is holding you back?"

"What do you mean I wronged Alice's father?" He questioned, gritting his teeth

Instantly Feng Jianyu took out his phone and connected it with the television.

He played the video found in Kong Da's house.

He looked like a robot made of metal devoid of any emotions whatsoever in him. He did not display any emotions and stood quietly but her painful screams were like a whiplash on his body.

Feng Dingxiong watched the video till the end but he did not utter a word nor did he give any reaction.

The video ended. All this while, Feng Jianyu's gaze was locked at his father to not miss any reaction. But not surprisingly, he didn't get any reaction from him.

Feng Jianyu glared severely, "What should I take your silence for? You even forgot to react to Yang's involvement in my accident. Right, Mr. Feng? Does this mean you already knew it was not an accident and Yang Rucheng's sister did it?"

Feng Dingxiong's gaze turned complicated, the word Mr. Feng sounds foreign to his ear. Whenever there's a dispute between him and his son, he was addressed by this name. And he always hated it.

 "Th-this…" Feng Dingxiong frowned, his heart strangely agitated, "Where did you get this video from?"

"That's not important. But my questions are" Jianyu's cold eyes hardened, that could freeze the entire estate. He tucked hands inside his pocket, his posture intimidating, "I've promised my wife to get answers. Don't disappoint me!"

"Wife? For a few months old relations.h.i.+p, you are willing to go against me? How unfilial" Feng Dingxiong sneered.

"For her, I'm ready to go against the world least you" Feng Jianyu announced majestically.

 "If I had known that you would be so wrapped around her pinky finger I would have never send you at her home. Infact, i should have not saved her that night"

The air around Feng Jianyu became deadly, his pupils shrank. He punched the wall beside him, blood dripping from his hands, "WHAT. DID. YOU. JUST. SAY?"

"Get out from here!" Feng Dingxiong snarled.

Feng Jianyu didn't wait another second as he turned towards the door. "This is not over. Those who have wronged my wife I'll make their life a living h.e.l.l. No matter who they are…" his words echoed for the longest of time, giving a fair warning.

a.s.sistant Jun was standing right outside the door when the heated discussion took place. Earlier when Feng Jianyu came to the manor unexpectedly, Butler Chen didn't delay in sending him an emergency message seeking his presence.

 Since the door was not closed he heard everything. He took a step back and bowed respectfully when Feng Jianyu pa.s.sed by but the later didn't notice anything.

All the servants of the house were shaking in fear and hide in the corner when they saw the enraged Feng Jianyu walking out of the manor. n.o.body even dared to breathe, afraid they will be crushed under the wrath of both the masters.

a.s.sistant Jun went inside and saw his master in a dazed state, staring a wall. One closer look and anyone could understand that Feng Dingxiong was not staring at the wall but at the trail of fresh blood.

"Master…."

"Leave me alone. I need some time"

"Master…. This lowly is just an a.s.sistant, but I'm taking the liberty of serving you for more than three decades and humbly request you to please tell everything to First young master" a.s.sistant Jun bend his head and muttered the courage, "From where I'm standing I can clearly see that both the masters are putting their father-son relations.h.i.+p at stack for their beloved wife. Just try it once, I'm sure the First master will understand your predicament and help you to find the solution"

 "There's no solution. You know what happened last time" Feng Dingxiong let out an exhausting breath, "I know, one-day Jianyu would eventually know the truth and on that day I'll probably lose everything. In this evil game, I'm always at the losing end"
