At night Yang Sheng had sent Hu Chi to bring her to the Smoke Island. He didn't want to give her much time, afraid she might plan something against him. Feng Jianyu had already brought her to the hotel where Qingzhou's team was staying; he didn't want his location to be disclosed to Yang Sheng.

Xiu Mei changed into the clothes as send by Yang Sheng and followed his instructions of not carrying any gadget.

"I've to search you to make sure you're not carrying any gadget." Said Hu Chi the moment he saw XM coming towards the helicopter that had landed on the terrace of the hotel. Obviously, it was XM that gave permission to let the chopper land.

"Try touching a single strand of my hair and I'll break your eggs." Xiu Mei gave a disgusting looking to Hu Chi as he extended his hand to search her over.

"You b.l.o.o.d.y-"

"What?" Xiu Mei raised her brows, "Failed to handle the fact that your eggs aren't big enough to handle my personality?"

"You're not coming with me unless you let me search you."

"Goodbye then!" She turned to leave casually.

Hu Chi gritted his teeth. His master has specifically instructed him to bring her at any cost. If Yang Sheng came to know that she backed off because of this, Hu Chi will have to bear the consequences. Moreover, let her land at Smoke Island, the master will himself show what does a real ball looks like.

"Fine! Let's go." He saw her giving a smirk but controlled his anger.

The ride went silently. n.o.body spoke to anyone, Xiu Mei's attention was at the view outside the helicopter. After an hour the helicopter landed in a landing area at the Smoke Mansion. Just as Xiu Mei thought, the Island was covered with a thick blanket of smoke. At the time of landing the smoke was cleared a little by the huge suctions installed and the HIRL lights illuminated the helipad.

Before the door could be opened Hu Chi gave her the oxygen mask to cover her face. The first thing she saw was a large group of people dressed in blue was patrolling the Island with their mouth covered with oxygen masks.

After a minute of a walk, Hu Chi scanned his thumb on the biometric reader and pushed her roughly on the shoulder towards the door.

Xiu Mei gave a sharp look.

Hu Chi smirked, "Your so-called haughty att.i.tude will not work here. This is my place."

"Your place or Yang Sheng's? You are just his pet monkey who obeys his master's orders blindly. You're just a dark shadow who has no ident.i.ty of its own." She walked ahead, scanning the surrounding with her sharp eyes. She obviously didn't hold any value for Hu Chi in her eyes and deliberately provoke him to force him to do a mistake that could be used for her benefit.

Once more Hu Chi pushed her towards the metal detector machine. "Shut up, you filthy b*tch. Just pray this machine doesn't detect anything suspicious. Otherwise, I'll strip you n.a.k.e.d before taking you to the master."

Xiu Mei stepped into the machine but looked back mockingly, "Pet monkey, go get your owner's permission first. I wonder where your leash is."
