"Don't be stupid. It's going to explode." Feng Junjie holds Jianyu firmly.

"Mei…. she would be worried." Feng Jianyu kept his gaze at the fallen dial.

"But if anything happened to you, she will kill herself." Feng Junjie's word worked as a wake-up call. "Everyone…. Facedown….." He yelled.

The violent noise startled the Island, the smell of oil and gunpowder burning envelops the air. It was a fatal blow for the enemy.

To everyone's surprise, a new reinforcement came out of nowhere taking place of the old one. Lu Xion stepped back and looked around, dead bodies and wounded men sprawled on the ground.

Already their half of the team was working on the other side of the country. And here, their resources were depleting while the enemy has come prepared with a force that outnumbers them many times.

"Jianyu…. Jianyu, come in…." Lu Xion tried to talk to him through the ear-mic, but the noise was so loud nothing was audible.

He raised his watch to talk to Feng Jianyu but shockingly didn't find Feng Jianyu's health name on his watch.

His heartbeat hitched. A feeling of premonition shrouded his heart. He doesn't want to see Xiu Mei in the condition in which he was living… He can't afford to see her as the female version of himself.

"Take charge." Saying he left for west wing where Jianyu was fighting with his team. When he reached the west wind, he noticed a man pointing his gun at Feng Jianyu.

Surely, someone managed to enter the mansion.

*SHOOT*

Feng Jianyu turned back to see and found a man from the opposite side lying dead in a pool of blood.

He smirked at Lu Xion. "Thanks… but why did you left the north corridor?"

"Where is your watch?" Lu Xion ignored his question. He frowned seeing the empty strap on Jianyu's wrist. Without waiting for any answer he tried to offer his own watch.

"It won't work like this, Xion. Even if I'll wear it, it will still display your name according to the data programmed in Orange's system. You better keep wearing it. Mei knows whom to check if she finds no information on me." Feng Jianyu answered.

"Boss…. The third young master has saved the Vice President's granddaughter. He will reach here in fifteen minutes." Rong Xiang who was trying to communicate with Feng Jin came running there and informed. "They have already boarded the helicopters."

"Fifteen minutes?" Feng Jianyu looked worried. "What about Mei?

*BOOMMMMMM...*

A series of thunderous sound echoed the air, attracting everyone's attention.

"Binoculars." Feng Jianyu asked. After a few seconds, he pa.s.sed the binoculars to Lu Xion. "The explosions happened at smoke Island….. see the dark cloud of smoke over that patch."

"Not only that…. The fog blanket is lifting." Lu Xion's stern face was laced with concern.

"Mei."

"Mei."

They both uttered simultaneously.

"I've to go." Feng Jianyu got up.

"We're surrounded from all sides. Before handling these pests there's no other way to get out of here." Lu Xion took the submachine gun from Feng Junjie's hand and gave him the binoculars. "Let's get them first."

"Alert…. Alert….A new and bigger armored force is coming to our direction?" They heard Bai Xin's voice coming from the laptop Rong Xiang was holding. She used the emergency contact device to make sure her message is delivered and heard.

Rong Xiang confirmed instantly. "Message received…."

"No… no…. no… Wait! This team contained a logo on their uniform and it doesn't belong to any illegal organization. I'm sure!" Bai Xin informed. "Oh, s.h.i.+t...."

Rong Xiang: "What's wrong?"

"Instead of attacking us they are attacking our enemies. And they're too good." Bai Xin's voice contained excitement. "These people are definitely experienced in this field. Now it's our enemies who are surrounded by all sides."

Rong Xiang mused. "Who are they?"

"Let's not waste our time thinking about them. Sister Mei Mei is waiting for us." Feng Junjie threw the binocular aside and took Jianyu's position to be the first in command.

"A group of men has blown up the south wall of the mansion with a grenade. I've killed some of them but their leader has managed to enter with a handful of men." Once again Bai Xin's voice echoed.

Feng Jianyu instantly moved and changed his gun to dragon eagle, "Xiang, accompany Junjie and Yeti here." He looked at Lu Xion. "Are you willing?"

"Yes…. my team will handle the north wing." Lu Xion moved towards the south corridor with Jianyu.

The enemy team and their leader felt proud sneaking into the mansion. They slowly moved towards the direction of the sound, that's the place where the infamous Lu Xion must be fighting. As far as Feng Jianyu was concerned, he is just a rich brat, must be hiding somewhere in the mansion to protect himself.

The leader thought he will first handle the underworld king Lu Xion by attacking from behind and then come after the spoiled brat who is useless in this type of situation.

Four of his men walked in front while another six walked behind keeping the leader in the middle, protecting him from both ends.

Just when they took the left turn towards the corridor that leads to the main hall, something big dropped in front of them out of nowhere.

The next second they heard a bone-cracking sound only to realize that it came from the men who were walking in front. Before anyone could wake up from their stupor their two men were in someone's death grip acting as a human s.h.i.+eld against the upcoming bullets.

The leader raised his gun but before he could fire the surrounding men dropped dead on the ground while the two men in the death grip were bleeding, already dead.

It shocked him…. They were none other than Lu Xion and Feng Jianyu.

Such marksmans.h.i.+p!

Such a gun-wielding technique!

His hand shook… the gun in his hand dropped on the floor.

He kneed down. "Yang Sheng…. Being a member of the terrorist organization and the arms manufacturer Yang Sheng asked us to kill you both in exchange for the gadgets that President XM of R-Tech will develop for us. There are at present over fifteen of his clients helping him in the greed of getting President XM's inventions." It didn't take him a second to sell off Yan Sheng.

He failed to understand from whom he was most scared? Is it Lu Xion who was famous for being a cold-blooded murderer or Feng Jianyu whose gun-wielding skills and murderous aura were eating him alive?

Lu Xion sneered. "It's no more a secret in the underworld that President XM is under Lu Xion's protection. What makes you think she will invent something for sc.u.ms like you?"

"I…..I…."

"Let him be…. Ben knows how to handle a sc.u.m like him." A heavy mature voice echoed as Feng Jianyu and Lu Xion turned to the owner of the voice.

A man dressed in military uniform who seemed in his late fifties came walking towards them. Feng Jianyu frowned looking at his country uniform and the logo. He got stunned when he read the name on his badge. 'Mo Muxing!? Country T's military chief, Xiu Mei's third uncle?'

He was more shocked upon seeing Zian and a woman walking beside him.

The woman….

Zeng Ruo!

Xiu Mei's mother!

Indeed Xiu Mei has inherited her features from her mother. Anyone can tell they are mother-daughter!

But what Zian is doing with them?

Wasn't he supposed to be doing the President's surgery?

He seemed to be very well acquainted with Mo Muxing and Zeng Ruo.

Mo Muxing looked over the shoulder and the man named Ben stepped forward and took the leader out of there.

"The situation is under control here,"  Zian said looking at Feng Jianyu and Lu Xion. "Let's go and save father and sister."

*ANOTHER SHOCK*

"Aunty Ruo?" Lu Xion wakes up from his stupor. "You're alive?"

"This is not the time to question all that, Xiao Xion." Zeng Ruo said. "My daughter and husband are in danger. I don't want to lose them again."

Now that Lu Xion and Feng Jianyu paid attention to their clothes, even Zeng Ruo and Zian  were dressed in Country T's military uniform with guns tucked at their waist.

"Take half of my men with you along with your own. I'll handle this Island." Mo Muxing commanded. "Major general Mo Tianfeng will join me after he is done with the forces outside. Go save Zhichan and Qinyang."

With no question asked, Feng Jianyu and Lu Xion left the Island. This was indeed not the correct time to question anything.

Zian turned to face Zeng Ruo. "Mom, why don't you…."

"I'm coming. Topic ends." Zeng Ru followed the two men leaving his son behind. When her daughter and husband's life is at stake how can she sit quietly and wait for them? Isn't two decades of wait enough?
