With the coachman already hurrying us to board the carriage and depart, we said our last farewells before sitting inside.

With high walls extending almost to the skies, one would think that there would be no buildings that would ever be visible from the outside. But to my astonishment, you could see the top of the arena itself that the city took its name from well before reaching the walls of the city!

Compared to our sect, almost every single one of the crowd that I could see from the carriage while the coachmen was dealing with our doc.u.ments at the city gate, was far better dressed than almost anyone that I could see back in the sect! It was like a whole new world appeared before my eyes, blinding me with its splendour!

After getting inside, bidding farewells to the couch and strolling leisurely through the city for a short while, we finally asked someone to tell us the direction where the contestants for the yearly tournament should register themselves.

When I thought that being one day early was a good idea, no one dared to object. But who would've thought, that the registering house had a queue that extended for at least two hundred meters outside the building already?

With no other choice, we simply stood at the very end of the line, and patiently waited for the people in front of us to register.
