To be perfectly honest, I kinda missed this shy side of Eve. Realising the real meaning behind the words that I uttered, I kinda blushed myself, but looking at how quiet and cute did my fiancee turned, I realised that with all the rocky actions that we indulged into almost every time we were alone, I lost this precious, delicate moment of watching her all embarra.s.sed like that!

Pulling on her hand, I brought her in my embrace, and simply enjoyed the smell of her hair while trying to ignore this slight ball of fluff that kinda stuck between our bodies. While I would love to make this moment last a little bit longer, the presence of a third-party quickly made me lightly push Eve away and pick up the usual walking routine. 

"Honestly, what with you now! You can make my heart race like that!"

Despite this short moment of intimacy ending as quickly as it appeared, Eve still clung to my arm, as if she wanted to incorporate my entire hand in her own body. While others might consider it to be nothing much when thinking about all the times when we were embracing each other n.a.k.e.d, this feeling of her pus.h.i.+ng her b.r.e.a.s.ts covered in clothing against my shoulder was more than enough for me to shout praise to the lord in my mind.

"By the way, what do you want to do in here? It's not like you can help them with renovating this place at all, and I think it's too late to make any last-minute changes to the concept right now."

As we already arrived at the construction site, it was quite obvious where we were heading in the first place. Looking at how this building managed to turn into a rather elegant place already, I couldn't help but praise the efficiency of the local workers. Thinking about all the building endeavours of my previous world, no matter how important a renovated building was, it wouldn't be possible to improve so much in such a short amount of time!

To put things into the right perspective, when I first saw this construction, the entire place looked more like a rundown, big shack, but right now, I wouldn't be ashamed to call it a proper mansion! Only when one looked at the details would one realise how much work has to still be inputted to finish the entire job, but thanks to rather ugly surroundings, our action house already looked pretty nice.

"You will know when we will get there, for now, you can treat it as a small surprise!"

Unwilling to let go of this chance to tease my beloved a bit, I simply pulled her hand and guided her to the inside of the building.

After introducing ourselves at the gate of the fence that surrounded the entire building, we went inside without any major hiccups. While it took a while for the guards of this place to confirm my ident.i.ty, that only showed how much value did Venna put into the prospects of this building.

As we entered through the main doors, I couldn't help but gasp in surprise. While the outside looked already nice, I was ready to see a sight of typical work in progress, that I could know from all the programs about renovating random people houses that I saw in the TV back on earth. Contrary to my expectations, the entire first floor looked almost the same as the entry hall of the Bakari Auction House already, as long as I ignored the empty spots that should be filled with replicas of great treasures that were once auctioned in this place!

I wonder how quick will the craftsmen be with making them after the very first auction will conclude! 

While I was eager to tour the entire building to survey the progress of the work, I knew that I would only slow down the work by hindering the workers this way, so I decided to go right to my real destination right away.

Following down the stairs, I realised that the bas.e.m.e.nt, as a place that no guests would see, was finished. Despite its bare walls and the floor lacking any sort of wood to smooth it out, I could see an insane amount of work and money infused into this part of the building from the sheer amount of various protective formations that reinforced this place! Even if it would be all hidden before some kind of elaborate decorations and paints at some point in the future, it already could deter most of the potential thieves from any silly attempts at robing this place with just the sheer scale of protective measurements!

"What is this place…"

Gasping for the air as soon as she saw the ugly but effective interior, Eve couldn't wrap her head around why would this place be so important to be reinforced to such a level. While the importance of local safe was obvious to everyone, this was something that could be easily placed aside, with some kind of expert affiliated to this enterprise, holding all the treasures on him for as long as it would take to finish the bas.e.m.e.nt! Looking at it from this point of view, it really didn't make any sense to sacrifice so much manpower and materials just to finish the safe, when there were only three more days before the auction will start, and from the number of various tools and materials placed all around the construction site it was obvious that this job was far from being finished!

"Just sit tight and wait!"

Instead of explaining everything while still in the relative open for any kind of eavesdropping techniques and other spying activities, I simply approached one of the walls that did not stood out by any way from the others, before placing my hand in my storage ring, cutting my finger with the tip of the carving knife that I had in there and writing a strange symbol with my blood on the specific spot of the wall. 

In the instant that I finished the writing, there was a silent 'swoosh' sound coming from the other wall, before an opening appeared right in front of our eyes!

"Honestly, I'm starting to worry…"

Informed by Venna in advance about this place, I could only nod my head in response to Eve's murmuring while leading her inside the hole that appeared in the wall. As soon as we stepped into it, the entrance closed behind us, only for another hole to appear in front of us. 

Only after stepping through this small opening, did we see the content of the insanely compacted room.

"While this will be a treasury at some point in the future, with the attention that we attracted, there is no other place where I could craft anything. While this room is compacted, there is no need to worry about the breathable air running out. As for why did I guide us here, since I'm going to give our currents weapons as the gifts to various parties, I need you to watch the process of making your new sword so that it will suit your needs."
