At nine o'clock in the evening, in the blood rose bar, four handsome men sat around a table, attracting women from time to time.

Mu Chang sat there just drinking in daze. Liang Shao looked at Mu Chang.

"Leng Yan, Li Mu seems a little weird today right?" Liang Shao asked Leng Yan .

Leng Yan looked at Mu Chang. He looked like something was on his mind.

"Well, he looks like something is on his mind."

Then Liang Shao suddenly remembered the rumors he heard that he attended the gala with an unknown girl. Could it be same woman who now has influence on him?

"Hey, could it be that you're fighting with that woman?"

Leng Yan was puzzled. He left the country and came back just yesterday.

Did he miss something?

Mu Chang took a look at his wine and drank it.

w.a.n.g Lu just sat there looking at his friends. He wanted to know their reaction when they hear that Qin Jieli is coming back.

He smirked.

Mu Chang glanced at them. "I never knew that you're that interested in my love life."

A glint pa.s.sed through their eyes.

In the past, once they ask him about anything especially women he would tell them.

But this time he actually said this. What woman can make Mu Chang so protective?

w.a.n.g Lu, sitting and watching them seemed to be thinking about something.

Mu Chang drank his wine and walked out of the bar.

The three people sat there in a daze hardly believing what just happened.

Now they're really curious about her!

"Qin Jieli is coming back and Li Mu is already living with a girl."

w.a.n.g Lu said this when he saw his friends in daze.

"What?!" Leng Yan was the first person to react when he heard him.

That ungrateful b.i.t.c.h is coming back. He has never really liked her. He thought she was too fake with her goody two shoes. But Mu Chang is his friend and if she made him happy then he could only pretend to like her. G.o.d knows how happy he was when she left! And now she was coming back?

"Wait, did you say that he's already living with a girl? But Li Mu has never been close to a woman since Qin Jieli left."

"Well, he is now." w.a.n.g Lu said.

"Yeah, it seems he really likes her too, since she can affect him this much. You know the only person who could influence him was Qin Jieli but now it seems like things have changed." Liang Shao added.

Leng Yan could hardly believe all of this. He left for a few days and a lot had already happened.

"Who is she?"

Liang Shao shook his head, "I don't know."

They all turned their head to w.a.n.g Lu waiting for his answer.

"Well, even though I can tell you, it's better if you go and check her out for yourself."

Liang Shao and Leng Yan looked at him confusingly.

"What do you mean?" Liang Shao asked.

"Well, even if I tell you won't believe it. So let's go and pay him a visit.

It is 10 o'clock and he actually left the bar early. Obviously there is a woman hiding in the house.

"OK," Liang Shao frowned.

Leng Yan was actually the first person to reject w.a.n.g Lu's ideas but now he actually agreed.

w.a.n.g Lu smirked. He wanted to see Li Mu's reaction when he saw them. This is his revenge for what happened today.

"Liang Shao, you've no room to refuse. Let's go." w.a.n.g Lu said as he pulled him outside.

Mu Chang returned to the villa and found Ru s.h.i.+ sitting in the living room.

She had her head bowed as she was busy sketching something in her notebook with her pen.

Mu Chang stood there and stared at her for a while.

He knew something was changing between them.

Ru s.h.i.+ felt a gaze on her. The moment she looked up she saw Mu Chang staring at her.

"You're back." Ru s.h.i.+ said as she stood up.

Mu Chang took off his coat and put it on the sofa. He walked towards her.

"Its really late, are you waiting for me?"

"Yeah," She nodded.

"I didn't see you this morning and I overheard the cook telling the driver that you're in a bad mood today. Is everything OK?"

"Yeah, everything is fine."

Mu Chang said as he gently kissed her forehead.

Mu Chang picked up her notebook and looked at what she was drawing.

He has to say she's really good with drawing.

She had drawn a bird again.

This bird has it's wing spread out.

"Why do you always draw a bird?"

Mu Chang asked.

"Well, I envy them their freedom," She said faintly.

"So why didn't you do art at the university. It seems you're really good at drawing and I can see your pa.s.sion for it".

"No reason."

A glint pa.s.sed through his eyes but he did not say anything.

"Have you eaten?" Ru s.h.i.+ asked him.

Mu Chang felt warm. It's like a wife waiting for her husband to come back home after work, and asking if he has eaten.

"No, not yet." Mu Chang replied

Ru s.h.i.+ frowned when she heard him.

"Its so late, and you haven't eaten? Do you want to get sick?"Ru s.h.i.+ scolded him.

One could hear the care and worry in her words.

"Hmm… Why don't you cook for me?"

Ever since the last time she cooked for him, he has been waiting for a chance to ask her to cook for him again.

"What do you want to eat?"

"Noodles will be fine."

"OK, wait here," Ru s.h.i.+ said as she went to the kitchen.

Mu Chang called Li Yi the moment she left.

"Yes, Boss.

"Find out if Ru s.h.i.+ had any interest in art before going out with Feng Lu."

After that he hanged up the phone.

When Mu Chang entered the kitchen, Ru s.h.i.+ was busy cutting the vegetables.

He stood at the door and looked at her as she stirred the food and moved about the kitchen.

She looked like the hostess of the house.

He stood there watching her until she finished cooking. He stared at her as if he was afraid to miss any of her actions.

The moment she turned off the stove, Mu Chang walked to her and hugged her from the back. He rested his chin on her shoulder.

"You...!" Before she could say anything, he turned her and kissed her.

This kiss was different from their previous ones which were hot, fiery and completely based on l.u.s.t and desire.

This kiss was slow and soft, comforting in ways that words would never be. His hand rested below her ear, his thumb caressing her cheek as their breaths mingled.

She pulled him closer until there was no s.p.a.ce left between them and she could feel the beating of his heart against her chest.

After they parted, she saw his eyes filled with different emotions. His lips curved up into a smile and she could not help but smile back.
