"Are you done?"

Mu Chang asked Ru s.h.i.+ the moment she answered the phone.

"Hmm"

"How was it?"

Ru s.h.i.+ stayed quite for a moment

Mu Chang got worried due to her silence.

"Why you..."

"I pa.s.sed! "

Ru s.h.i.+ chuckled as she said.

"Why, are you doubting my intelligence?"

Ru s.h.i.+ pouted as she asked.

"No, of course not. My kitten is the most intelligent woman in the whole world. I knew you'd pa.s.s. Come to my office. I've a surprise for you."

Mu Chang smiled as he said.

"Surprise?"

"Hmmm, don't keep me waiting."

"Alright."

When the driver stopped in front of Li Corps, Ru s.h.i.+ looked up.

The design of the multi-story building was rough and under the sun, the transparent gla.s.s sparkled.

Occasionally, people in suit would walk out and some would walk in.

After the driver dropped her off, he left.

She went to the front desk and saw two beautiful women standing by the reception.

As soon they saw her, they immediately showed a professional smile.

"How may we help you?" one of the receptionists politely asked.

"I'm looking for Mr. Li."

This was the first time that she has called him like that.

It sounded a bit weird.

When the receptionists heard her, their expression changed.

"Looking for Mr.Li, do you have an appointment?"

Ru s.h.i.+ shook her head

"No, but he told me to come."

The receptionists glanced at her disdainfully.

"You can't see him without an appointment. Or do you think you're an exception? I tell you every day there are women coming here to seduce our boss since his fiancé left. Do you think he'd look at you because you're beautiful?"

Ru s.h.i.+ ignored her, and looked at her phone.

Unfortunately she didn't know when the battery died.

Her phone has automatically shut down.

She frowned and said.

"Just tell him that Ru s.h.i.+ is here, he'll know."

The receptionists smiled and glanced at each other.

"Ru s.h.i.+? Who are you? What makes you so confident huh?"

The other person smiled and picked up the phone.

"Don't worry. I'll call him. When he answers I'll tell you," she said sarcastically, as she points to a chair on the other side.

"You sit there and wait. When there's news I'll tell you."

Ru s.h.i.+ frowned but she thought that if she left, she'll miss the surprise that he has for her.

Mu Chang looked at his watch for the third time.

According to his calculation, Ru s.h.i.+ should have arrived long ago.

But why hadn't she come up yet.

Where did she go? Did something happen?

He stood up and walked outside.

"Did someone look for me today?"

The Secretary stood up nervously when she heard him

"President Li is there anything I can do for you?"

Mu Chang got impatient at her questions.

"I asked you if someone came to look for me!"

The Secretary scanned through her notebook.

"No, President Li."

Mu Chang frowned and went back to his office.

He called the driver since her phone was not reachable.

"Where's she?" The driver was questioned by Mu Chang.

"Sir, are you talking about Miss Ru?"

"Who else? Didn't I tell you to pick her up at three o'clock? It's already five o'clock, where is she?"

The driver was shocked.

He said anxiously, "I already dropped off Miss an hour ago at the company entrance."

Mu Chang wrinkled his brows.

Was she here?

"Sir, Miss may...."

Before he could finish speaking Mu Chang hung up the call and strode outside.

When the Secretary saw him, she stood up.

She wanted to tell him that someone called Ru s.h.i.+ has just reported downstairs.

Although the receptionists said, she was just like the others who wanted to seduce their boss , she was a little worried.

"President Li, the front desk...."

However, Mu Chang kept walking without listening to her.

He walked out of the elevator and dialed his phone.

"Take me to the monitoring inside and outside the company. Find her now!"

Mu Chang walked out and came downstairs.

He looked around.

He turned his head and saw a woman sitting on the sofa in the lounge area.

He saw that she had a head bowed as she flipped through a book looking completely undisturbed.

The security rushed over.

"The monitoring has been transferred. Do you want to see?"

The security guard hesitated.

He turned and walked towards the rest area.

Ru s.h.i.+ did not know how long it was going to take, so she went to the front desk and asked several times. The receptionists said that Mu Chang was very busy, so she should wait.

She did not dare leave for fear that she would miss the surprise.

So she just took the art book with her and read while she waited.

Suddenly a shadow fell over her.

"What're you doing here? Why didn't you come up?"

He waited for more than two hours but this woman was comfortably sitting in the lounge area on the first floor.

Ru s.h.i.+ pointed at the receptionists sitting on the front desk.

"I'm waiting for your permission. They said I don't have an appointment so I can't go up".

Mu Chang furrowed his brows.

His voice was slightly annoyed.

"I didn't get the news".

He knew that it was the people at the front desk who did not tell him.

"Why is your phone not reachable?"

He held her hand and took her to the elevator.

The receptionists paled when they saw this.

"Does she really know the president?" One of them wiped off her sweat as she asked.

"I told you that maybe she wasn't lying but you didn't listen. You said how someone who knows the president could not have dressed like that? Now we are both finished."

"What should we do?"

Suddenly the phone on the desk rang.

"What right do you have to keep the president's visitor from seeing him?"

The voice of the manager said coldly.

"Pack your bags, don't come back again."

"Manager we..."

He hung up the phone.

The receptionists face paled as they sweated.

When Mu Chang got upstairs he glanced at the Secretary

"Why didn't you tell me that someone was looking for me huh?"

"Li Yi, recruit a new Secretary. I don't need employees who can't do simple things".

When Ru s.h.i.+ saw the Secretary crying with her nose running and her make up ruined.

She pulled Mu Chang
