Ru s.h.i.+ tensed as she heard the voice behind her. Mu Chang? What's he doing here?

She ignored him as she took a sip of her drink.

"Cousin,"

Shen Ruyi stood up as she saw Li Mu. She tried to pull her short dress down as she stared at him.

Mu Chang stared at the little woman ignoring him.

"Well, what are you doing here dressed like that?"

Even though it looked like he was questioning Shen Ruyi his eyes were still on Ru s.h.i.+.

"I... "

Shen Ruyi fidgeted as she pulls down her dress.

"Little Ruyi don't tell me you're dressed like that to find a boyfriend."

w.a.n.g Lu grinned as he stared at Liang Shao while he spoke.

Liang Shao furrowed his brows. He hated the way she was dressed.

He hates the fact that any guy will look at her like some prey. Unfortunately, he can't do anything.

So, his a.s.sumption was correct

Shen Ruyi rolled her eyes. She doesn't know why this guy keeps calling her little Ruyi anytime he sees her

Putting on a fake smile she turned towards w.a.n.g Lu

"Uncle w.a.n.g, I didn't think you're still chasing girls at this age. Shouldn't you think about settling down?"

The smile on w.a.n.g Lu's face stiffened when he heard her

Uncle w.a.n.g?!

He can't believe that she called him uncle. He's just twenty-nine for Christ's sake!

Leng Yan chuckled as he looked at w.a.n.g Lu

Zhang Wei s.h.i.+vered as he felt a deadly glare on him

He whispered into her ears.

Mu Chang clenched his jaws as he saw Zhang Wei whispering to Ru s.h.i.+'s ears.

"Cousin do you want to sit with us?"

Feeling like the atmosphere was a little weird Shen Ruyi finally broke the silence.

After they sat down Shen Ruyi held Ru s.h.i.+'s hand

"Cousin, meet my friend Ru s.h.i.+ the one I was talking about. Unfortunately, she has a boyfriend, so I can't hook you up!"

She pouted as she said.

Liang Shao looked at the little woman who has pouted suddenly he felt that she looks cute.

Mu Chang's mood suddenly became a little better when he heard her.

It seems she considers him as a boyfriend still

"Ru s.h.i.+ meet my cousin. Li Mu Chang the CEO of Li Corps."

Ru s.h.i.+ glanced at him. She nodded slightly at him as a form of greeting then she ignored him again.

Her slender finger took the gla.s.s and slowly swayed lazily yet intriguing.

Mu Chang softened as he suddenly remembered the first time he saw her in the club.

"It's a pleasure to meet the great CEO of Li Corps at such a place. I don't know what your girlfriend will think if she sees you here. So, did you come here to have a little fun with some girls after a misunderstanding?"

Ru s.h.i.+ said as she swayed her gla.s.s. Her eyes staring at the gla.s.s.

While Mu Chang was reminiscing about the past he heard her

"Well, if my girlfriend trusts me enough. I don't think she'll have any problem with me being here."

Mu Chang said as he stared at her.

The moment Ru s.h.i.+ turned to look at him her eyes met his

She said as her voice trailed off...

"What about you Miss Ru? If your boyfriend sees you dress like that what do you think he'll do.

Especially the fact that you're flirting with other guys."

w.a.n.g Lu glanced at Leng Yan as they grinned at each other.

Well, they will just sit back and enjoy the show.

"Well, he has no right to say something. After all, if he can talk and hire his ex to work for him then I can also dress anyhow I want and talk to any guy I want. Right, Mr. Li?"

They stared at each other since n.o.body wanted to admit defeat.

Sensing the weird atmosphere Zhang Wei coughed

"Cough. That which smart guy will hire his ex to work for him."

He chuckled as he said.

Seeing the tense atmosphere after he finished speaking he suddenly stopped laughing.

Maybe he should just keep quiet.

Looking at the deadly glare that that guy is giving him. He'll be a fool not to see the way he looks at Ru s.h.i.+. He's definitely sure that there's something between them.

And it looks like they had a fight? Judging from their conversation.

He smirked as he put his hands-on Ru s.h.i.+'s shoulder.

"You know my proposal still stands. Anytime you want"

He winked at her as he said.

Ru s.h.i.+ smiled as she nodded.

"Well, then give me your number. Beautiful."

Zhang Wei removed his phone from his pocket as he gave it to Ru s.h.i.+.

Ru s.h.i.+ collected it. After she finished she gave it back to him.

Mu Chang watched their interactions. He suddenly felt an excruciating pain in his heart.

Shen Ruyi stared at her cousin. Why is he behaving like that?

She can see the way he looks at Ru s.h.i.+. And what's that little conversation earlier.

Do they know each other?

She frowned as she falls into a deep thought

w.a.n.g Lu turned to Zhang Wei. He knows he has to do something to ease his friend's mood.

"So, Ru s.h.i.+ who is this?"

Zhang Wei smirked as he looked at w.a.n.g Lu

"I'm her prince charming right Hun?"

Zhang Wei turned to Ru s.h.i.+ as he said.

He always called himself her prince charming when they were kids.

"Well"

She smiled at him as she answered.

Even though he was annoying as a kid she surely enjoyed the attention he gave her.

Mu Chang lowered his head. n.o.body knew what he was thinking.

Suddenly the temperature dropped.

Shen Ruyi felt a pair of eyes on her. Turning around she slammed into Liang Shao's eyes.

Liang Shao looked away as he realized she has caught him staring at her.

The tips of his ears became red.

The sound of a phone ringing broke the awkward silence

Zhang Wei looked at his phone as he frowned.

Just when he was having fun!

"Well, I've to go. Do you want to escort me out?"

He turned to Ru s.h.i.+.

"Ok"

She needed to breathe some fresh air.

She stood up as she followed him.

She completely ignored Mu Chang as she pa.s.sed by him.

When they reached Zhang Wei's car he turned to look at her.

"Well sister Ru, so is that guy the one enjoying all these goods?"

Ru s.h.i.+ blushed

"You...what are you talking about."

He chuckled as he saw the blush on her face.

"Well, I don't know what happened between you two. Judging from your conversation it seems his ex is the problem?"

"Well"

Ru s.h.i.+ said as she looked on the ground.

"You shouldn't let anyone come between you and your man. Especially an ex.

You have to fight for him. Where is the little wild girl I once knew.?

She smiled

"Well, it seems fatty Wei has grown up. Giving relations.h.i.+p advice."

Zhang Wei saw a figure looking at them. He was definitely sure it was the guy from earlier.

He suddenly hugged her as he whispered into her ears

"Well, we have to make Mr. Li a little jealous right? So that he realized how much he should value you"

"You...!"

He let go of her as he chuckled

"I'll definitely call you Hun. Don't miss me!"

He shouted enough for the person hiding to hear.

Ru s.h.i.+ stared at the car as it left her sight in a daze. suddenly a cold voice sounded behind her

"Prince charming huh? Then who am I?"
