The Rise Of The White Lotus Chapter 2 - Chuchuru~

"Dumpling?" Lexi murmurs as her curious gaze follow the small illuminating cute white bun.

It flew, circling around her non-existent body. When the cute, white dumpling stops before her eyes, Lexi felt like stepping back as her eyes crossed by the inch gap between her and the flying dumpling. However, it seems like Lexi was immobilized and the only thing she could do was see and speak.

"Nice to meet you, chu~!" The little bun grins brightly as she waves at her charmingly. While the white bun flew further away from her, Lexi just thoughtlessly scans the flying delicacy like a fool. The mix emotion of utterly mystified, perplex, and awe combined into one conflicted Lexi -- gravitating what to feel.

"I am Churu~, your fairy guide mother in the otome love system, chu! As I said, you surpa.s.sed our preliminary exam! So, to gain full access to the otome love system, you must execute our initial test, chu~!"

Lexi was mind-boggled by the words "Churu' spoke of; which made her looks at the little dumpling with an even more perplex gaze.

"It'd talked..." Lexi heedlessly mutters. In her life, Lexi was confident with her IQ level. Alas, this time, everything felt surreal, making it harder for her to comprehend the whole charade.

Minutes ago, she was choking to death. But now, aside from losing her other senses and can't move as freely as she wants as if her soul was stuck into something, there is a talking dumpling in front of her!

If Lexi could faint, she would. But, predictably, that right was taken away from her. So, all she could do was absorb all information that "Churu' throws at her -- even if it was beyond her comprehension.

"Your initial task is to seduce you ex-fiance best buddy, chu~!"

When Lexi hears Churu's last words, Lexi could envision her own face distorting in dismay. Granting that she made a fool out of herself loving the man who will never return the mutual feelings, alas, Moris Liu's best buddy and best man was the city's infamous casanova. Never in her entire life, she would imagine seducing a manwh.o.r.e like him.

"E- excuse me?" Lexi responded in bewilderment. She added,

"What is going on here? Is this some kind of a joke? I died! I committed suicide, I'm dead -- no doubt! What are you talking about? And how can a dumpling even talk? My G.o.d, Did I just lose my sanity and didn't die? I'm just crazy right?! You're not real, right?" Lexi said all the question circling inside her in one go. After all, this doesn't make sense -- not a bit at all!

"This is an initiation, chu~. No, it's not a joke but a game, chu~. Yes, you committed suicide but not yet entirely dead, chu~. I'm talking about your way to your second life chuchuru~. Because I am a cute fairy. And, you got one thing right, you're indeed crazy by doing those crazy things, chu~ but not really, chu~. I am real, chu~! Cute and kicking Churu~!

Lexi felt like ripping her scalp apart in frustration. Churu precisely and orderly answers every question Lexi spats with her cute high-pitch voice. However, Lexi cannot take Churu's words in a sincere way because of the fact that Churu made different poses while answering her question. In contrast, Lexi felt like going insane by this turn of events.

"Alright, let us get this straight. You want me to play this sick game because?" Lexi finally tries to open her mind as she might really go insane if she won't even get answers about her whole situation. Thus, after letting out an imaginary heavy sigh, she inquired.

"Because, you are vicious, chu~!"

"Vicious… huh, so, you think I'm also an inhumane person?" Lexi scoffs in ridiculed.

"No, chu~! But since you're here, that means you did lots of bad deeds in your life, Chu~!" Churu explained as her lower body moves sideways as if dancing an odd move. Lexi made her invisible vein prop by how energetic the cute dumpling in front of her.

"Here? What is this place?"

"This place is for the souls who're on their way to h.e.l.l, chu~!"

"Straight to h.e.l.l… what? You mean like a checkpoint in the afterlife?" Lexi stammers. Though Lexi couldn't believe that she was really having a conversation to a talking dumpling, yet, for some odd reason, Lexi could not help but ask further questions.

"You can say that, chu~. This place was made just a week ago, chu. But I believe in the human world, it would be considered 'eons' ago, chu~!" Churu clarified adoringly.

"Why me? And why there's... this kind of place and game?"

"Because G.o.d pitied you and he is really bored, chu~!"

Lexi can imagine having a headache with everything she just heard. She doesn't know whether to believe or not. After all, if she put it all together, it sounds oddly convincing yet it is also not.

"One last questions, why would I play this game?"

"Because it gives you a second chance in life and in love, chu~." Churu's eyes s.h.i.+mmer in excitement. Her already excited aura gleams even more for some unknown reason.

"and if I don't?"

"Then you can just go straight to h.e.l.l and die everyday like how you died on earth, chu~!"

"You sound really happy about it, huh?" Lexi scoffs seeing the reaction of Churu as she relays the consequences if she didn't take the challenge.

"I am always happy, chu~!" Churu defended as she gestured a peace sign using her cute miniature fingers.
