"What's your name, by the way?"

Ren asked as they sat on the lounge area.

"Ah, My name is Ying Yue."

The girl was still nervous as she glancing at Ren while fidgeting her fingers.

"That's a nice name. What is the t.i.tle of your screenplay, by the way?"

"It's «A born star»."

"That's a nice name, Director Ying."

"No, no, I am not a director yet. I have still not directed a project."

Ying Yue shook her head as she said that and Ren just smiled as he took the screenplay from Ying Yue's hand.

He holded the screenplay in his hand, as he thought if he had seen the movie or not.

But no matter how much he thought, he had never heard about a movie with that name.

He didn't thought much about it as he opened the screenplay and started reading through it.

Ying Yue, on the other hand was looking at him with a nervous expression.

'Will he like it? Or not?'

That was the thought is her mind.

She was very nervous and was trying to see the expression on Ren's face but his face was just blank.

He was reading the screenplay with a serious expression.

Ying Yue became more nervous seeing him like this.

For her, Ren was a big star who was currently shooting his next drama.

Her meeting him was just a coincidence and now he was reading her screenplay.

She didn't knew what to think about it.

She just wanted him to like her project. She had already gotten tired after going from one production house to another.

Ren thought after reading the whole project.

It was not a commonly seen genre nor it was a movie which is easy to made.

Investors will hesitate to incest money in the project. It will also take huge efforts to make but the story was really good.

It was a story which will be liked by almost all the age groups. It was engaging and heartbreaking and Ren liked it quite a bit.

"The story is not a major genre. Have you written the story yourself?"

Ren asked that as he looked at Ying Yue with the corner of her eyes.

"Yes, I wrote it after thinking about it for a long time. I have also polished it quite a bit before bringing it to the investors."

'But she still is looking for a investor.'

Ren thought that, because Ying Yue was looking for CEO w.a.n.g to invest in her project.

It was not a project investors would be keen to invest in. That's why she hasn't found a investor yet.

"I actually have showed this project to a lot of investors but they all rejected it by giving my some excuse. Some even wanted to switch me out with another director because I am still a rookie."

Ying Yue said with a low laugh.

"It's not a project, investors would be keen to invest in."

"Yeah, but I still wanted to direct this movie, if I find some investment."

Ying Yue said with a expression that showed the hards.h.i.+ps she has gone through.

"Many investors has asked me to sell the screenplay to them but I don't want to give it to others, it's my project."

When Ying Yue said that, Ren thought that she has really endured the hards.h.i.+ps.

He suddenly remembered his struggling days as he stared at her.

He then looked at the screenplay in his hands, he has liked the screenplay quite a bit.

It was really engaging but he had never seen this movie, nor he had heard about this type of story before.

It meant that it was a movie that does not exist in the future Ren had come from.

He didn't knew if it would be a hit or not, he can't be sure about that.

He hesitated because of that.

'A role that can surpa.s.s my acting!'

That was what he was looking for. He wanted to do that type of role.

He glanced at the screenplay in his hands as he thought that this movie can help him surpa.s.s it.

His grab on the screenplay got tighter because of that. He looked towards Ying Yue as he thought about all the odds and evens of his decision.

Ying Yue got slightly scared and nervous when she saw Ren looking at her with a serious expression.

She thought that Ren would say that he didn't liked the screenplay like countless others but when Ren opened his mouth, she was shocked beyond her core.

"I really liked the story."

"Re-really?? You lik-liked the story."

She shuttered as she said that. She didn't believe her ears at that moment.

"Yes, the screenplay was written very well. I really liked it. Although it's not a mainstream genre, it's quite good."

"Really! Thank you! It is a great compliment for me."

Ying Yue said as she slightly bowed. She was filled with emotions of joy currently.

"Who are you thinking for the male lead?"

When Ren said that, Ying Yue fell into confusion. She hasn't selected a selected a particularl actor to play the role.

She didn't have the privilege to do so.

She was just a rookie director who hasn't even directed her first project. She don't have any privileges currently.

"Then, what to do you think of me as the male lead?"

"You really want to act in my project?"

"Yes, I really liked the screenplay."

"You don't have a problem with me as the director?"

Ren shook his head when he heard that. He didn't have any problem with that.

He himself was a rookie at one point and he didn't think that Ying Yue would agree if he said that he don't want her as the director.

That's why, he said with a confident voice.

"Yes, I don't have a problem with that. Please let me be the male lead in your movie."
