"I already told you I still hasn't signed your movie and I don't think I have ever done something disrespectful. Are you looking for a fight?"

Ren said with a crazy smile on his face. His eyes were oozing with madness.

Although it was just his acting, Director Lu was scared stiff.

He originally just wanted to force Ren to sign his movie. He thought it was just a rookie and will not say anything to him.

He just wanted to force him, he never thought he would retort like this.

Even the reason, he wanted to take Ren in the movie was because he wanted to borrow his current hype and fame.

"You…..you…..what are you doing to me?"

"Me? I am not doing anything. Just asking a question."

"You know that if it gets out, you will be in trouble."

Director Lu said as he took a step back and Ren kept coming close to him.

He just kept shrinking back and Ren pushed him into the corner.

If anyone sees them like this, they would surely think that Ren was extorting money from him or something.

It was good that no one was here at the moment as the award ceremony was still going on.

"Do you want to hear the truth?"

Ren said with a smile and Director Lu shrieked as he replied.

"What truth?"

"The truth is that I never liked the screenplay of your movie."

"What??"

Director Lu eyes bulged when he heard that. The anger which was gone from his face came into his eyes, but he just glared at Ren.

"You!! What are you saying? My movie will be a big hit."

He said like he was sure that his movie will be a big hit.

"You think so? But I don't think like that. To me, it's just a movie which relies on his star power. I don't want to take part in such a movie."

Director Lu's expression which said that he will kill him for sure when he heard that.

He felt that Ren was insulting him right now but Ren continued.

"If it wasn't for the CEO, I would have rejected it at the spot."

"You! You are really thinking that you are a big shot now. If I can, I can easily crush you."

"Crush me? Let's see if you can do that."

Ren said as he grabbed his collars.

Director Lu again became scared when his collar was grabbed by Ren.

He thought a punch would come out but Ren just left him off as he left the bathroom while saying.

"Don't pick a fight with me again. I am not a weak kid who you can bully!"

Director Lu was left speechless there, alone in the bathroom.

'I overdid it!'

Ren thought as he left the bathroom. He just wanted to slightly scare Director Lu, but he overdid it in the atmosphere.

But he didn't felt that Director Lu would reveal it to someone.

As he will not have any proof and he will also not like to create a unwanted controversy as controversies can both good and bad.

That's why, Ren wanted to stay silent about this matter but when he left the bathroom, he found someone standing there.

"Brother Ren!"

It was Xiao Rin.

Ren didn't knew why but she was standing there.

Xiao Rin slowly nodded her small head. She has indeed heard everything.

Ren said as he was worried that Director Lu will come out of the bathroom.

He didn't wanted to see him again.

So, they moved to a quiet corner.

'How do I ask her to stay silent?'

Ren thought as he stood before her.

He didn't how he could ask her to stay silent about the matter. He didn't wish it to be known by anyone.

"Don't worry, I will not say anything about it to anyone, Brother Ren."

As noticing Ren's trouble, Xiao Rin said that.

Ren was really grateful because of that.

"Don't worry about it, Brother Ren but you don't want to do «Vagabond»?"

"Yes, Chief Jiang told me about it."

"Yes, I really don't want to do it. I only considered it because CEO Xu said to do it."

"I know but I don't think you will be able to do this movie after that."

"Yes, I know."

Director Lu would not linger on Ren after that incident. He probably hated him more than anyone else.

At least, he would not do «Vagabond» anymore. Ren felt happy about it.

"You are also doing a short web series on Xstar videos, right?"

"Yes."

Xiao Rin's next project was a short web series on Xstar videos. It was a exclusive series produced by it.

She will be playing a role in that series.

She was also featuring in lots of reality TV shows after Laughter nights.

"Brother Ren, can I ask you something?"

"Yes."

"Are you doing that movie called «A star is born»?"

"How do you know that??"

Ren was really baffled when he heard that. He didn't knew where Xiao Rin got to know the movie from.

"Chief Jiang told me about it."

Ren didn't thought that Jiang Wan would even tell her that.

"I also read the screenplay."

"You read the screenplay. How did you get that?"

"I asked Chief Han."

"So, how did you liked it."

Ren asked as he wondered how much Xiao Rin has liked the screenplay.

In his previous life, Xiao Rin has done many movies and dramas which were a hit, her eyes of projects was naturally good.

"It was really good. I really like the intense love story and the fact that it's a musical drama makes it more romantic."

Xiao Rin said that with sparkling eyes.

Ren has seen those eyes before. It was the same eye an actor would show when he would get a hand on a project that he would really want to do.

"It's good that you liked it and yes, I am thinking of doing that movie. Although I have to convince the CEO for it."

Ren thought that if he could convince the CEO, there would be no problems at all.

Jiang Wan has to accept his decision then.

But the problem was convincing the CEO, he didn't knew if he would be able to do it.

"Brother Ren, I want to do this movie too."
