A person was slowly sipping on tea as he carefully read the newspaper with a relaxed expression on his face.

The person muttered as he went through the politics section and then the financial section of the newspaper.

As he was reading the newspaper, his sights strangely went on to the missing person section.

 It was because he saw someone familiar there.

'I have seen this person and it was recently too….'

The person has seen the person in the photo just recently. He tried to remember where he had seen her when he suddenly remembered.

"Isn't she the person with that Asian guy!?"

Just two days ago, he treated this girl. The person reading the newspaper was the same doctor Ren has met in the hospital.

The doctor has remembered Ren because of his handsome Asian looks and as the girl he has brought was in a bad condition, it has left a deep impression in his mind.

Yes, the person on the missing report section was Alisha.

Someone has filed a missing complaint about her and requested any person who has seen her to quickly report to the above mentioned number.

The doctor was a gentleman and after seeing such a report, he didn't wait much until he called the number.

"h.e.l.lo, I have seen this girl on the missing report section."

-Where have you seen her?? Please tell me quickly!!

The voice on the other side of the phone was of a man and he was sounding quite worried.

The doctor hurriedly told him everything about Alisha and Ren.

"Uncle, where will you go tomorrow?"

Alisha said as she swung her legs around. They were currently sitting in their hotel room.

Ren was checking the entertainment news in China. There was nothing much except Lumous miraculous debut and their rising popularity.

"We will go to the theme park."

The theme park Ren was talking about was a theme park where various characters from animations will wander around.

It was one of the greatest theme parks in the world.

"Wow!! Where will we go after that?"

"We will…."

Ren was about to answer when he suddenly realised that tomorrow was the last day they will stay in Los Angeles.

He will have to return to China after that. His work was piling up and he had to prepare for the audition for Director Chen Pu's drama.

"What happened? Why did you suddenly go silent?"

"Uhh, it's just that we will return to China after tomorrow."

Ren said as he scratched his head and Alisha's excited expression changed into one of a complete distress.

It felt like she was someone who has just heard that the world will be going to end. Maybe, it was even true.

In the past few days, Ren and his parents were her world.

Seeing her like that, Ren was about to ask her if she would like to come to China with them but suddenly, there was a knock on the door.

Ren stood up and opened the door.

There were three people standing there. Their faces were one of worry and they were trying to look into the room.

The three people were one woman and two men.

The lady had a nice body with a lovely figure, and the man looked like a well-mannered, white collar type. In addition, there was a fat looking older man with them.

"Do you need something from us?"

Ren said as he looked at the people in front of them.

"Alisha, where is she??"

The lady said as she shouted frantically. She kept trying to glance inside the room and she finally found Alisha who was coming out after hearing the noise.

"Alisha, come here, quickly!! You know, we were so worried about you."

The lady said as she tried to break in but Ren blocked her as he asked.

"Madam, there seems to be some misunderstanding."

"No, there isn't. Now, quickly get out of my way or I will call the police."

'Police!?'

Ren wondered what was going on but he still didn't move from his place.

He looked at Alisha who was hiding behind him and asked.

"Do you know these people?"

Alisha lowered her head when Ren asked that. She didn't say anything. She seems kind of frightened, so Ren decided to protect her.

"Alisha!! Alisha!!"

The lady kept shouting as she tried to take the hand of Alisha and pulled her towards herself but Ren kept blocking her.

"You…!!"

The lady wanted to scream but before she could do anything, she was pulled back by the man.

"Sorry, my wife just misses Alisha so much."

Ren was frustrated because of the unreasonable woman but he calmed down when he saw the man who at least looked to be reasonable.

"I don't know what's going on. So, can you explain it to…."

Before Ren could finish, the man looked at Alisha behind him and shouted.

"Alisha Lawrence!! Have you fully enjoyed your vacation now!!"

Alisha became more scared when the man shouted at her.

"Sir, please calm down."

Ren tried to appease the man but he kept shouting at Alisha.

"You really troubled us a lot this time. I know you are 18 but that doesn't give you the right to run away from your home. What if something has happened to you??"

Seeing that, Ren understood two things.

One, Alisha knew both these men and women and they might be her adopted parents but there was only one way to confirm it.

"Alisha, who are these people?"

He asked her but Alisha kept her head down.

"I am asking something. Who are these people?"

Ren again asked and this time, Alisha looked at him and she replied.

"They, they are my parents?"

"Your adopted parents?"

Alisha shook her head and replied.

"No, my real parents."

"Your real parents!?"

Ren asked in confusion and shock.

"Yes, I….lied to you…."
