Chapter 214. Lily 

"How can you recognise me?"

Ren said as he stared at the girl in front of him. He was frowning because his ident.i.ty had nearly blown away.

It was just pure luck that the bus he was in was full with people and Ren was able to stop this girl from speaking more or shouting.

That's why he was still safe and no one has found out about him.

"You know it's really rude to suddenly drag a girl away and into an alley to booth."

Ren doesn't have much time to speak and after the bus has stopped, he has quickly taken her hand and dragged her away to an alley.

He didn't have any explanation about his acting, so he quickly changed the topic.

"First tell me how do you know it was me?"

His disguise was nearly perfect. There was no way anyone would have recognised him with more than half of his cover.

There should be an explanation about how the girl in front of him was able to know who he was.

"Fufu, you want to know?"

"Yes."

The girl looked to be proud of herself as she said that. She even leaked out a weird laugh.

"It's because I am a celebrity myself."

Ren looked at the girl strangely when he heard that. The girl has already put down her sungla.s.ses and cap when he was dragging her to the alley.

He has to admit that she was really cute and her body was nearly perfect with curvaceous curves and a larger pair of b.r.e.a.s.t.s.

Her long legs were really looking long and slender in the blue jeans she was wearing.

Although she was pretty, Ren had never seen her before, not in any magazine or television.

Even if she was a celebrity, she was surely not an actress. If she was one, then Ren was sure that he would have recognised her.

"Sorry, I don't. Can you please tell me your name?"

Ren asked as he thought that he would remember something after hearing her name but when the girl heard that, her expression immediately became bitter.

"You, you really don't recognise me? Look at my face and think carefully before answering."

She flailed her hands as she came closer to him. Her chest seems to be sticking to him.

Ren hurriedly stepped back. It was rather dangerous for him if the girl came closer to him. He was afraid of those tremendous 'weapons' of her.

"Sorry, I really don't know you."

When Ren said that, the girls squatted to the down and big drops of tears started forming from her eyes. It was like she has faced some great injustice.

She has a sad expression on her face like she has just found out that her country is going to be destroyed. 

If anyone saw them at this moment, 9 out of the 10 people would not hesitate to mark Ren as the person who has done something outrageous to the girl.

He was glad that he had dragged this girl to the alley and not in some public place.

'What should I do now?'

Ren thought as he scratched his head. He just can't live a girl crying like this.

An idea suddenly flashed across his mind and he said.

"Maybe if you tell me your name, I would be able to recognise you."

When the girl heard that, her eyes flashed.

If earlier she was a girl that was told that her country is going to be destroyed, then her current expression was like her country has been saved somehow.

"Yea, you must have heard of it. My name is not common and I am sure that you would have heard of it."

"What's your name?"

"It's Lily."

'Lily? Have I heard of it?'

Ren pondered greatly over this but he was unable to think of a celebrity with that name, not in the past nor in the future.

The closest name to that was of a Hollywood celebrity whose name was Lilliana but the girl was obviously not her.

"So, have you heard of it?"

The girl called Lily asked with hopeful eyes but Ren slowly shook her head. 

"Ahhhh!!"

Seeing that, the girl again squatted and shouted. She lowered her head and started muttering some things which Ren was not able to understand at all.

Ren furrowed his eyebrows while thinking about what he can do. In the end, he just thought of the internet.

If she was really a celebrity like she claims to be, then there must be something about her on the internet.

Even small celebrities have some articles about them and it was easy to find them. That's why, Ren started searching on the internet and there was really something.

'There's an article about her.'

Ren found an article about her and he opened it. As he read through it, Ren finally understood why he didn't know her.

It was because Lily was not an actor, nor she was a member of a girl group.

She was actually the main vocalist of a rock band!!

"This is you, right?"

Ren pushed his phone towards her and on the screen, there was a photo of her. Lily raised her head and looked at it, after confirming that it was her, she furiously nodded her head.

"Yes, that's me."

"You can really be considered a celebrity."

"What do you mean by considered? I am really a celebrity."

Lily said as she pouted her lips and Ren laughed seeing that. She was an adult but there was a lot of childishness in her which was actually cute and made her distinct from others.

Ren felt that she could become popular if she can come up on some entertainment shows.

"Yes, yes, you are really a celebrity."

Ren said as he laughed and her pouting face intensified as she grumbled.

"I may not be much famous right now but in the future, I will be more famous than anyone else."

"Sure, that's a good dream."

Although Ren said that, he knows how hard it was for bands to get popularity. With the boom of the idol industry, rock bands have been decreasing every year.

The rock industry was currently in turmoil over it!!
