Ren had always thought that it was the acting and weak presence of Na Wen that had made him a bad actor, compared to the other leading cast.

It was also true to some extent but the heavenly king, Hou Qian didn't think like this.

Na Wen's acting may be immature but there was a lot of potential in it. It was just that he was not able to show the potential to others. 

The main reason behind this was his understanding of the character. 

"So, you are saying that Na Wen is not understanding the character of Xu Tingsheng?"

Ren again asked and Hou Qian nodded and replied.

"He thinks that  Xu Tingsheng is an ideal prince character who is skillful and has an ambition to seize the throne."

"Isn't it true?"

Ren said as he tilted his head and blinked his eyes in confusion. He was not able to understand what Hou Qian was telling him. 

That's why he focused more on his words. 

"It may look like that on paper but when one look at the screenplay and carefully read Xu Tingsheng's character, one will notice that there are many subtle things in his character."

"What subtle things?"

"Why don't you find out about it yourself? I will just say that if Na Wen can show these subtle emotions, then he can even receive an award for it."

Hou Qian said those words and left without saying anything else. He was going to prepare for his next scene. 

'What does it mean?'

Sitting alone, Ren contemplated on his words but he was not able to find the real meaning behind Hou Qian's words. 

That's why, he took out his phone and started reading the whole screenplay of «Slayers» again, from the first scene. 

'Isn't it the same?'

Ren thought that when he finished reading the screenplay.

He didn't find anything else in the screenplay but he also knew that Hou Qian won't lie to him. He doesn't have a reason to lie. 

That's why Ren spent his entire day reading the screenplay.

He would read it before his scene and then, after his scene. It was to the point that other people were thinking that Ren was furiously studying the character of Cao Xu.

But the truth was that he was studying the character of the crown prince, Xu Tingsheng. 

Like that, three days pa.s.sed away in a blink and on the fourth day, Ren finally started noticing the subtle things Hou Qian has mentioned. 

'There is really something more to the character of Xu Tingsheng.'

He thought as he smiled.

The reason behind Na Wen's weak acting was not his ability or presence but something completely different. 

Na Wen had failed to understand these subtle emotions and the thought process of the crown prince. 

That's why he was not able to play the character well. 

It was a rare situation but there were previous cases of it. 

An actor would not be able to properly understand one's character and then, he would not be able to play it well. 

There are many instances where popular actors had failed to play a character well. 

Their fans would often say that the character didn't suit him or it was not meant for him but the truth was that the actor would fail to understand the emotions of the character he was playing.

Thus, it would result in him showing poor acting. 

'What can I do now?'

Although Ren understood that, Na Wen didn't know that. 

Ren was sure that Na Wen was not able to understand the character well and had failed in playing him well because of that.

But the question was what can Ren do to solve the mess.

In the last three days, the situation had grown more fierce. 

More and more media outlets had reported about this matter and all of them had said the same thing, that there was a fight between Ren and Na Wen.

Although the PR Team of Top star entertainment and Wheel works production had already sent a press release about this, there was no confirmation from Na Wen's agency. 

Because of this, it is gradually becoming a hot topic online.

'Well, I can't do anything about it.'

If it was in the past, then Ren would have been disheartened about this or even look at his phone from time to time.

But he has already gotten used to this.

He can't stop people from speaking about it, even though it was all a lie.

The only one thing he can do is to talk with Na Wen about it.

From what he knows, Na Wen agency and Director Chen Pu had been in constant clash for the past few days. 

There was no confirmation about Na Wen leaving the cast. Wheel works production was currently trying to find a common ground between the both parties. 

If Na Wen really left the cast, then Wheel works production would take a huge hit. 

Not only will it increase the cost of the drama, it will also delay its release. Moreover, they have to sign another actor for the role. 

It would take a long time for it.

It would also badly affect «Slayers». That's why Wheel Works production didn't want Na Wen to leave the cast.

'I have to talk with him.'

Ren thought that a talk with Na Wen was necessary but there was a problem. 

"I don't know where he is."

The cast was originally living in a five star hotel near the film set but after the feud, Na Wen had already checked out. 

Ren doesn't know if he was still in Hondian or not.

"Tang Lan, what are you doing? Why are you not giving your all in this scene? Don't slack on your acting. It's an important scene!!"

Ren subconsciously looked at Tang Lan when he heard that. She was currently getting scolded by Director Chen Pu.

After the feud, his temper had become more fiery and even Ren had been scolded one or two times.

The queen of hit dramas, Tang Lan didn't like getting scolded by Director Chen Pu but she was too afraid to voice out her thoughts. 

In the end, she can just nod her head.

'She must know where he is.'

Ren thought in his mind.

Both Tang Lan and Na Wen were from the same company. So, Ren was sure that she would know something about Na Wen's current location.

That's why, Ren approached her, after her scene was finished.
