"So, how will we move from now on."

A man with light brown hair, dark eyes and a sharp chin asked, as he moved his head around the meeting room.

Several people were sitting across each other.

All of them looked at each other when the man asked that question. Finally, a fat middle aged director opened his mouth.

"The best thing we can do is to stall for more time. The situation is not in our favour. So, we have to stay back and wait for the right moment."

Seeing the fat director speak, other people also started opening their mouths.

"Yeah, the situation online is getting worse."

"I think we should release a statement describing Na Wen as the victim. We will gain people's sympathy this way."

"If we did that, then Wheel works production will not stay silent. They have already started to handle things in the back."

The directors of the agency talked among each other and listened to it, the brown haired man can't help but knit his eyebrows.

'My stupid brother really knows how to create problems.'

The man with light brown hair frowned in frustration. It was not the first time his brother had created problems.

But this was the first time it had gotten this big.

"If I didn't handle the situation well, then it would be detrimental for the agency."

"I think we should accept Director Chen Pu's offer of cancelling the contract."

Cancelling the contract would be the worst thing to do there.

They were still thinking of ways to stop Director Chen Pu from cancelling the contract and the brown haired man was saying the opposite thing.

They can't help but doubt his words.

"First of all, I don't think Director Chen Pu will agree on Na Wen returning back to the set. That old man doesn't go back on his words, normally."

The brown haired man began to explain the reason behind his words. Everyone listened to him attentively. 

"Second, the situation is out of our hands. If we try to fix it, then it will only harm us."

Everyone nodded their head on those words. The fued online was growing and it has even made its way to the real-time search rankings. 

It can't get more worse than this but there were still some people who were against this.

"If we really agreed to cancel the contract, then «Slayers» would take a big hit financially and the media will also try to get to the end of it."

"Yeah, Tang Lan is also from our agency and she's the female lead in the drama."

"If Director Chen Pu talked to the media and said that Na Wen's acting was the reason behind cancelling the contract, then it would affect his future projects."

The brown haired man nodded at those words. The objections were reasonable.

His agency would take more of a loss, especially because the project also involved their top celebrity, Tang Lan.

But just a question from the brown haired man was enough to silent the others.

"Your objections are reasonable but I want to ask you something. Who here can persuade Director Chen Pu to not cancel the contract?"

Everyone became silent when they heard that.

Even CEO Pan of the Wheel works production, who was also a close friend of Director Chen Pu can't persuade him.

How will the directors persuade him? 

Seeing the director's not speaking anything, the brown haired guy again opened his mouth.

"We don't have any choice but to cancel the contract. It's unfortunate but it's the truth. Although we are cancelling the contract, we won't take much losses."

"How will we do that?"

One of the directors asked.

"First of all, we will show Na Wen as a victim. That will give him people's sympathy. We will say that he left the drama after having a fight with Director Chen Pu and Xin Ren."

Some of the directors frowned when they heard that.

"Then, we will be making Top star entertainment and Wheel works production for our enemies."

Top star entertainment and Wheel works production were like two giants in the entertainment industry. The agency can't go against the both of them.

It would be like banging their heads on a steel wall. 

"You don't have to worry about that. I will handle it on my own."

The brown haired man said but there were still some objections from the other directors. 

"If we do that, then it will affect «Slayers» greatly. Tang Lan is the lead actress in the drama. We would just be harming ourselves this way."

"I know that well but «Slayers» is not a drama that will come as a flop just because of some controversies. It will surely be one of the hit dramas of the year."

The brown haired man was confident in that. It was also the reason he wanted Na Wen to do this project, alongside Tang Lan. 

It was because he was confident in it being a big hit.

Although it has not gone according to his plans, it should be noted that there were several other big dramas aside from «Slayers».

'It's highest ratings would not exceed 3-4% anyway.'

The brown haired man was sure of that.

At that moment, he still didn't know that he was degrading «Slayers» completely. Maybe, only Ren was the person who can see «Slayers» true value.

"It would still affect us greatly."

The fat middle aged director who had spoken at the start didn't like the idea at all.

Some other directors also thought like him.

"We are not in a situation where we can come out from it without any injuries. We have to take some immediate losses but in the long term, it will benefit us more."

There was silence in the meeting room after that. Everyone was contemplating on whether to agree or not.

Seeing that the majority of the directors were still not in his favour, the brown haired man frowned, but he still has a last way.

He quickly opened his mouth.

"Can you tell me the name of the actor who keeps getting compared with Na Wen?"

It was a random question, completely out of topic. The directors took a while to understand what the brown haired man was trying to say.

In the end, a white haired director answered.

"It's Xin Ren."

The brown haired man immediately nodded and began to explain. 

"Na Wen's biggest compet.i.tor currently is Xin Ren. This has become more clear since both of them were a.s.sociated in the online feud."

Several directors nodded at that and they soon understood what the brown haired man was trying to say.

Ren was Na Wen's biggest compet.i.tor and currently, Ren was way ahead than him.

"If we showed Na Wen as the victim and Xin Ren as a villain, then it will affect us, but it will affect Xin Ren more."

"Top star entertainment will also focus on clearing his image then."

"Yeah, If we left Xin Ren alone, then he would surely become a heavenly king in the future. We can't let this happen."

In the entertainment industry, many people will try to block your path, if you are rising too high. The same was the case with Ren.

Many people in the industry were waiting for a chance to hit him down.

If Ren was really shown as a villain and Na Wen as a victim, then many more people from the industry will try to defame Ren.

The brown haired man was aiming for that.

The brown haired man was going to explain more about but suddenly, the door to the meeting room opened and a female employee came in.

She was panting like she had been running all the way.

"There's a meeting going here!!"

"No, that, Na Wen...."

The brown haired guy stood up from his chair when he heard Na Wen's name. He asked in an urgent voice.

"What happened with Na Wen? Did he come back to the agency?"

"No, he has posted an apology on his SNS account. It's already at 7th place in the real-time search rankings."

The brown haired man's eyes shook when he heard that. He quickly took out his phone and looked for the real-time search rankings.

The 7th place of the real-time search rankings was labelled as 'Na Wen's apology'.
